Let me take care of you(ln4)
A/N: wrote this in like an hour, so excuse me if itâs not the best:( thank you for requesting this though, it was so fun writing it! hope you like it, sweetheart<3
warnings: talks of mental health, emotional!reader, crying, angst, use of y/n, not proofread
requests are open!
The hotel room door clicked shut behind y/n and Lando, muffling the distant hum of the city. It was late at night, too late, and the weight of the day still felt heavy on y/nâs shoulders.
âIâm gonna take a shower.â She said quietly and flicked the lights on.
Lando dropped his backpack on the bed and turned towards the girl with a smirk on his face. âI can help with that.â
y/n looked tired. Her eyes were red from all the a/c, hair frizzy from the heat and makeup slightly melted. âIâll manage alone.â She said simply and shut the bathroom door behind herself.
Lando was a little disappointed with her answer. I mean, he did a great job driving that day, securing P3, usually she would be the one dragging him to the shower. Not today apparently.
Her hands were trembling on the counter as she was trying to calm her nerves. It had been too much. Her reflection in the mirror was concerning even to herself. She usually looked okay after a race day, happy even. But now, she saw another version of y/n. An overwhelmed, exhausted and small version.
It had started in the morning. The weather app warned her of extreme heat and humidity, a pimple had appeared on her face overnight and her head was living a life of its own. She shrugged it off like she usually would, got dressed and took the shuttle to the track where Lando was already fulfilling media duties.
The heat was unbearable, the crowd was never ending and y/nâs thoughts were racing at 300 miles an hour. She couldnât quite pinpoint what was different from other race weekends, it was justâŚunique. By the time she arrived at the McLaren hospitality, at least 15 people held conversations with her, tens of fans asked if she could give Lando this and that, she smiled nicely obviously, but inside she was collapsing.
She liked supporting Lando, she really did. She loved how his fans were always so friendly and how muck they supported Lando, but it was getting too much all of a sudden.
She was fine when Lando was next to her, she always was. She was fine when she spent time with Lily at the hospitality, but not when she was all alone. She hated that. It reminded her of all the times she would sit alone in high school at the cafeteria. Or when she had to travel alone back home. When sheâs all alone in their shared apartment while Lando is racing.
She tried her best to always surround herself with friends, going for drinks after work, grabbing lunch together or going on shopping sprees. She didnât care for being alone, she had gotten a real good taste of that in her childhood.
She didnât even realise that tears started falling from her eyes. She still stood there, in front of the mirror, grabbing onto the counter so hard that her knuckles turned white. She didnât know how long sheâd been standing like that.
âItâs okay.â She tried to tell herself. âYouâre okay.â It was just an overwhelming day, but itâs over now.
âBaby you forgot your-â Lando opened the door, towel in his hand but as soon as he saw y/n he couldnât finish his sentence.
The girl didnât want him to see her like that. She was overreacting, she didnât want to ruin Landoâs day with her whining. âThank you.â She grabbed the towel and forced a faint smile on her face but Lando was having none of it.
âHey- whatâs wrong?â Lando stepped closer slowly, like he was scared of scaring her away.
âItâs nothing. Iâm okay.â She tried to convince Lando but her face was saying something else.
âIt doesnât look like nothing to me.â His voice was firm and he wiped a tear from her face. âWhy are you crying, y/n?â His hand was soft on her face, caressing her cheeks in slow motions.
She couldnât help but lean into his hand and close her eyes. âI-âŚâ her tears were already coating his fingers.
âCome here.â He pulled her closer. She wrapped her arms around his waist while Landoâs hands found her hair, pulling her even closer to his chest.
The girl grabbed onto his shirt like her life depended on it and her sobs filled the quiet bathroom. Lando still didnât know why she was crying, but he held her close like an anchor and was not about to let go off her. âBaby, itâs okay.â He whispered and kissed the top of her head that he knew she liked so much. âLet it out.â
And she did. She cried into his chest for God knows how long. Lando didnât move, he didnât push, he just held her and occasionally whispered in her ear. âIâm right here.â
The girl pulled away slightly, just enough to look into Landoâs eyes. He had a soft expression on his face and his eyes were so full of pain and sadness that it made y/n want to cry even harder. She never wanted this. Never wanted to make him carry her weights as well. Thatâs why she never told him how much she hated being alone in the paddock.
âTalk to me, baby.â He held her face close to his. âYouâre scaring me here.â
âIâm sorry.â She whispered like she had done something wrong.
âDonât apologise, itâs alright. Whatever it is, it will be alright.â
âItâs just, it was hard today.â She confessed. âThere were too many people, I couldnât find any familiar faces, I-â
âIâm sorry. I shouldâve brought you with me in the morning and then I shouldâve asked Carlos to-â
Lando mumbled as he held her face even closer but y/n cut in. âHey, itâs not your fault I was just overwhelmed.â She sighed and dropped her hands. âIt became all too much, I felt everyone staring at me when I walked, I couldnât find Lily. I just got scared.â She admitted.
Landoâs eyes were full of hurt. He shouldâve known. He shouldâve known she was uncomfortable from her voice. He shouldâve assumed something was wrong from all her fidgeting. He knows her, how could he miss this? He was usually so attentive, but today he felt like he let her down. And it was killing him.
âBaby, Iâm sorry you had to go through that.â He exhaled and wiped another tear that escaped her eyes. âI canât even imagine how horrible that mustâve been for you, I-. Iâm here now, y/n. Iâm not going anywhere.â He hugged the girl and stroked her hair.
âIâll be more attentive, I promise.â Lando kissed her forehead. âYouâre okay now.â
âI donât want you to feel bad about this, Lan.â She whispered against him. âItâs me who has to power through this.â
âIâll help you. Iâll do everything, darling.â The girl looked up at him and nodded, now calmer.
Lando leaned in, his lips meeting y/nâs in the softest and warmest kiss. There was no urgency, just warmth and comfort. Exactly what y/n needed. His thumb brushed along her jaw and he deepened the kiss, reminding her sheâs safe now.
Lando pulled away first and rested his forehead against hers. âI love you so much.â His words were delicate. âItâs alright, okay?â
âOkay.â She smiled softly.
âLet me take care of you.â He pushed her away slightly, just enough to touch her arms.
He stepped aside, turning the water on. He turned back to the girl and grabbed the hem of her dress. âMay I?â She nodded and Lando pulled the dress over her head.
Normally, he wouldâve already lost his mind, seeing her in nothing but her underwear but tonight he wanted to make her feel safe.
âIm sorry I got some makeup on your hoodie.â She looked at the mascara stained brown hoodie he was wearing. Her makeup mustâve smudged so hard, she didnât even want to look into the mirror to see what a mess she looked.
âDonât worry about that.â Lando couldnât have cared less about his hoodie, all that mattered was that she was alright.
âI must look like a mess.â She tried laughing but failed miserably.
âYou look like the strongest woman ever.â And he meant every word, because to him she was the strongest ever. âCome here.â
She stepped closer and Lando unhooked her bra that fell on the floor, leaving her chest uncovered. He threw his hoodie off along with his undershirt and checked the waterâs temperature.
y/n stepped in the hot shower and Lando was close behind her, after undressing completely. He stood firm behind her, only touching her arm. The hot water felt so good on y/nâs body even though it was a hundred degrees out. And Landoâs comforting touches and kisses on her shoulders felt even better.
Her shoulders relaxed as Lando bathed the girl, like she was incapable of doing it herself. She rarely let her guards down this much, but now she felt like she needed this. And knowing that Lando was right there to take care of her, filled her with incredible joy.
âMy perfect girl.â He whispered against her shoulder blades and the girlâs cheeks turned pink.
Lando wrapped a towel around y/n and then around his torso as well. He kissed her softly on the lips, just enough to make her feel known.
He fumbled through her toiletries until he found some cotton pads and micellar water. Without another word, he stepped close to her, her back hitting the counter and he started cleaning her face.
He had never done that before, not to her, not to any other girl. He just wanted her to let herself be taken care of for once. And he did a surprisingly throughout job. âCome on now.â He shut the bathroom door behind them.
He kneeled in front of his suitcase, looking for her favourite shirt of his that she had a habit of stealing every once in a while. He didnât think twice and pulled the shirt over y/nâs head letting the towel fall to the ground.
Suddenly he picked her up bridal style and placed her on the bed.
She let out a hearty laugh, that made Landoâs heart flutter. âI can walk, you know.â
âWell I didnât want you to.â He laid next to her and pulled the covers on the both of them. He tucked her closer to him, fingers tracing in her hair and mouth soft on her neck.
The girl curled up to him, placing her head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. Her favourite sound. âThank you, Lan.â
âDonât thank me, baby.â He wiped a loose strand of hair from her face. âI hope youâre okay.â
âI am now.â She smiled up at the boy who was already looking at her like he had his whole world in his arms.
âAnd nowâŚâ he reached for the remote control. âweâre gonna watch whatever rom com is on and Iâm ordering room service.â
âCan we order some pasta?â
âWhatever you want.â He was already dialling room service. âExcept for seafood.â

Look after you(gr63)
summary: After an unforgettable wedding night, y/n wakes up beside her new husband, George Russell and they reflect on their journey together.
A/N: Iâve been listening to Look after you by The Fray way too much so decided to write something based on this song:)
warnings: implied mature content, established relationship, husband!george, emotional!reader, use of y/n
requests are open!
The sun beamed through the thin hotel curtains lighting the whole room in golden glory. Y/nâs eyes slowly opened and she looked around the messy room. Tux jacket on the floor along with her high heels and Georgeâs white shirt.
Memories from last night still lived vividly in her mind. She smiled to herself as she looked to her right where her now husband was sound asleep. He looked so peaceful, like all the weight has been suddenly lifted off his shoulders. His chest rose with every breath he took and the young woman felt happier than ever to be able to share a bed and a life with him forever.
Y/n shifted closer to George and laid her head on his bare chest. Listening to his heartbeat has always made her calm down, even if there was a storm inside her. She kissed his neck gently so as to not wake him. After all they had a long long night and an ever longer day before that.
âI canât believe weâre getting married in a week!â y/n exclaimed as she packed her suitcase to leave for their destination wedding.
âBetter believe it, love. This time next week youâll be Mrs. Russell.â George kissed his fiancĂŠe.
Y/n just smiled and tried to remain calm. She was incredibly stressed about everything going right and although having George by her side, she still felt she was going insane.
âI just hope everything goes right.â She sighed and threw another pile of clothes into her suitcase.
George wrapped his arms around the girl and kissed her neck. Y/nâs shoulders immediately dropped. âEverything is going to be perfect. And if not, it will be in true y/n and George form.â The girl smiled to herself and she knew, whatever is going to happen on that day, itâs going to be fine as long as Georgeâs next to her.
Y/n looked down at her left hand. Apart from her white nails, the two expensive bands on her finger shined so brightly in the morning light. The engagement ring was simple but gorgeous, just how she liked it. The band was thin and the oval diamond on it was exactly like the ones she had saved on her Pinterest board years ago. Thatâs how well he knew her. He didnât need to ask any of her friends for opinions or advice, he knew exactly what she liked.
That was one thing about George she adored. Always listening to what she was saying and actually remembering every single detail even after all those years.
George shifted under the covers and still half asleep he wrapped his arm around y/nâs waist. The girl just snuggled closer to him.
âHmm good morning Mrs. Russell.â George opened his eyes and they were immediately on his beautiful wife.
âOh my god, say that again.â George laughed and leaned closer to her.
âMorning, Mrs. Russell.â His thick accent made y/nâs heart flutter.
âI donât think Iâll ever get enough of this.â It still felt so unbelievable to her that she was his wife. That theyâd live together forever and start a family. It was like a dream she never wanted to wake up from.
âI donât think Iâll ever get enough of waking up next to you.â He started kissing her bare shoulders and oh was y/n enjoying this married life so far.
He still remembers the first night she slept over. âSleep at my place tonight.â He blurted out as he stopped at a red light.
Y/n was surprised to say the least. She didnât expect it, otherwise she would have at least brought her toothbrush or skincare. But she didnât hesitate to say yes. She wanted to spend the night at his place. She wanted to wake up next to him and see his messy morning hair.
âOkay.â She laughed and George took her hand from her lap and kissed it like the gentleman he is.
âIf you play your cards right, you might even get me to make you my signature breakfast.â
âAnd what would that be?â She asked curiously.
âYouâre just gonna have to wait and see.â He smiled and drove the two of them home.
âHow are you feeling?â George asked as he was caressing her face.
âA bit sore but never been happier.â George smirked and gave her a peck on the lips. âMy feet, you flirt.â
âI know, love. Just messing around.â She rolled her eyes but she loved when they were like this. Acting like two teenagers in love.
âAlthough, you werenât so bad last night.â
âNot so bad? Thatâs all I get after our wedding night?â Her contagious laugh filled the hotel room.
George flipped them over and hovered over y/n. He threw the covers off them and his wifeâs body made him lose his mind. âGuess Iâll have to prove myself again, donât I?â He kissed her before she could have answered.
She was in another world really. Thatâs how it always went when she was with him. He completely turned her world upside down in the best way possible. No one before him was able to make her feel this way and there was no one else sheâd rather be with than George.
Thatâs how she knew from the moment they met that he would leave his mark on her. And she left hers on him. He always told her she knew from the first moment they were meant to be. He wasnât scared to voice his feelings, he wanted her to know his intentions. It wasnât a secret he wanted to marry her, not at all. It was always a matter of when not if.
Therefore, the day of their proposal, George didnât feel nervous but rather excited. He knew her inside and out, planning the whole thing was rather easy. No fireworks, just the two of them and Georgeâs grand gestures that always made y/n fall harder for him.
He had taken her back to the place they met for the first time. It was a mutualâs friendâs birthday they were both official to. He booked the table overlooking the sea and ordered roses, 100 of them. There was champagne and tiramisu and he even got the whole terrace for themselves. And suddenly, Taylor Swiftâs snow on the beach started blasting from the speakers. She realised then what he was about to do.
George kissed all the way down to her bare stomach while cupping her breasts. Y/n was already breathing heavily and fisted the duvet like her life depended on it.
A knock was coming from the door and George jumped from the bed quickly putting on the white robe that somehow ended up on the floor along with all their clothes.
He opened the door and thanked the man standing on the other side of the door. When he turned around he smiled at the girl laying on the bed, now covered with a blanket.
âWhatâs this?â She asked looking at the tray in Georgeâs hands.
âI completely forgot that I ordered breakfast last night.â He laughed and placed the tray on the bed.
It had all of y/nâs favourites on it. Even two glasses of champagne and some flowers. The girl felt tears gather in the corner of her eyes and decided to let them fall.
âOh, darling. Whatâs wrong?â The brit sat down on the bed and watched as his wife wiped away her tears.
âIâm sorry Iâm just a bit emotional.â She sobbed. George leaned closer to her and hugged her carefully like she was fragile.
âYou donât have to be sorry. I know these past couple of weeks have been stressful. But the wedding turned out great, didnât it?â She nodded. âYou went all out with the planning and everybody loved it trust me, honey. And god you were just stunning in your dress.â He finished and y/n shifted closer to him.
She was incredibly grateful for having him next to her throughout this whole journey. He was always helping her with everything, even if he was away racing, he managed to find the time to look at invitations or seating charts.
She was just like this. A perfectionist. She wanted everything to go smoothly so she kind of lost herself in the last 100 metres. George noticed, of course he did and he tried everything to make her mind feel at ease. But he had to admit it, all of it was hard on her. And he was so proud of his wife for creating all of this.
âHey.â He pushed her away so he could face her. âLet me take care of you, okay? Relax and Iâll do the rest.â
âYou always take care of me.â She smiled.
âYeah, but I want you to let me handle everything on our honeymoon. You just worry about which dress youâre going to wear and let me take care of the rest.â He kissed her forehead and grabbed a croissant. âNow, let me feed you.â
The girl laughed but ended up opening her mouth and letting him feed her, just like he fed her their cake the previous night.
âPlease welcome our newly weds with a round of applause everyone.â Y/nâs maid of honour finished off her speech and the lights dimmed in the ballroom.
âYou ready?â Y/n asked George as they held each otherâs hands ready to present their first dance as husband and wife.
âReady, wife.â They shared a quick kiss before starting their dance that they had practiced millions of times in their living room.
They hold onto each other as I look after you from The Fray started playing. Their song. They swayed to the music and looked in each otherâs eyes like no one else existed apart from them.
âRelax, darling. I got you.â George smiled at the girl in his arms and y/n felt how tense her shoulders were.
âThank you.â She looked up at him and Georgeâs arms tightened on her waist. âNot just for this. For everything. For always being with me.â She felt tears gathering in her eyes as she remembered just how lucky she is.
âDarling, youâre thanking me?â He chuckled as if he couldnât believe his ears. âYou made me a better man, y/n. I never thought I could love someone this much, but you continue to surprise me everyday just how much I can love you.â Now he was tearing up. âI am the luckiest man ever.â He dipped his head lower and kissed her.
All of their family and friends started clapping but the outside world seemed so far away from them. It was just the two of them and their everlasting love.
âForever?â She asked as she was still holding onto him.
âForever.â

Lover (ob87)
summary: an unexpected guest surprised Ollie at his home race.
A/N: I think we can all agree that Ollie gives off major lover boy vibes. this is all fiction, the results in this fic are not accurate to the actual British gp. also Iâm going to the Hungarian gp this week and Iâve been feeling more motivated than ever to write!!
warnings: implied mature content, boyfriend!ollie, established relationship
requests are open!
Ollie is truly living the dream. He finally achieved what he had been working towards all his life. Surely, there are hard days and rough patches but he couldnât be happier to be where he is. Except, right now heâd rather be somewhere else.
Dating in formula 1 is hard as it is, but when your partner canât be at races next to you, itâs even worse. Unfortunately, that is the case with y/n and Ollie. Although the pair has been together for months now, the young girl has never been able to attend one of Ollieâs races. Not that she didnât want to, she just couldnât.
y/n has just finished her high school studies, safe to say sheâs incredibly young. When she told the British driver she couldnât attend Silverstone either, his stomach dropped. Of course, he never mentioned how much he wants her to be there, he didnât want to hurt the girl who was already going through so much. But, still, deep in his heart, it hurt a little. Itâs his first home race, of course he wants her there.
âIâm really sorry, Ollie. You know I want to be there.â y/n stroked his hand and cuddled closer to him. âBut I have my exams.â She said sadly and Ollie knew that she really means it.
âItâs okay, love. Youâll ace them.â He kissed Y/N gently.
âYou knowâŚâ she started while playing with Ollieâs fingers. âAfter Iâm done, Iâll be free all summer. I can go see you race then.â Ollie smiled at the girl laying in the bed beside
him and decided that all of this is going to be worth it.
âCannot wait.â
Fast forward 2 weeks, the British driver was just getting ready for FP1. His parents and siblings were in the paddock, ready to see Ollie killing it on the track.
Just going into FP1. Miss you<3
Wish I could be there. Youâre gonna be awesome Bearman xoxo
The boy smiled at her text. She was always so good at calming his nerves. Even with just a simple text she could achieve what others could never.
âOllie, come on weâre starting in 5.â His race engineer told him and Ollie handed him his phone.
The day went by far too slowly for Ollieâs liking. Usually he liked free practice and how calm the paddock was on Friday. Today, he couldnât explain why but he was not there mentally. His mind was replaying every moment spent with y/n and he really wished she would be there. He knew it wouldnât happen. He understood why, but he couldnât control his feelings.
âGreat drive today, Ollie.â Esteban congratulated him and the Brit smiled at him. It was a great drive, actually he couldnât deny that. Yet, thatâs not what mattered to him.
He couldnât wait to be all alone in his hotel room, take a shower and facetime y/n. A driver took him and his parents to their hotel. After saying their goodbyes, Ollie went straight to his room and draw the curtains.
Just as he stepped out of the shower, y/nâs face appeared on the phone screen and the young driver answered immediately with a smile.
âHey, Ollie.â She smiled and her tired eyes caught Ollieâs attention.
âAre you okay? How were the exams?â His back was now met with the comfy hotel bedding and his arms under his head.
âI think they went well. Iâm quite pleased.â y/n smiled and Ollie felt an instant sense of relief. He was so proud of her and he was going to show her just how much when theyâd meet again.
âIâm proud of you, you know that, right?â Ollie asked and tried to swallow the lump in his throat.
âThank you, love. Means a lot.â The young girl smiled from the other end of the world. âHow was free practice?â
Ollie began explaining how everything went, not forgetting to mention how much he missed her all day. y/n just smiled at that remark and knew he wouldnât have to wait so long to see her again. Having seen how tired his girlfriend looked, Ollie suggested going to bed although if it were up to him they would have talked all night long. After saying their goodbyes and promising to text as soon as they woke up, they hung up and Ollie hit the hay as well.
The next morning was filled with nerves. The pressure on Ollie was bigger than heâd imagined. He knew he had to perform on quali day, in front of all his family and team members.
After texting y/n, the Brit gathered his stuff and headed towards the circuit in his rental car. He tried everything to calm his nerves down, he even listened to y/nâs playlist. By the time he had arrived to the track, he made it his mission to perform well.
Hopping into the car was always the point when he forgot about everything and focused fully on racing. His helmet stood steady on his head and he was strapped into the haas car.
âRadio check.â His race engineerâs voice was clear.
âYeah, check.â He said and after getting cleared he rolled onto the race track.
Back in the paddock, a never before seen face appeared. David was already waiting for her at the entrance and when the driver pulled up at the gate, Ollieâs dad quickly opened the passenger door and greeted y/n.
âSo nice to see you again, y/n.â David said and hugged the girl who was trying to take it all in.
She was finally at a race. And not any race, but Ollieâs home race. She couldnât wait to see Ollieâs face. Knowing how much this meant to him and how long she had been planning, being nervous was an understatement. Of course she knew heâd be happy, but after all, they havenât announced their relationship publically.
âHow was your trip?â Terri asked as the young girl arrived at the haas hospitality. His family was always so supportive of their relationship especially because they knew that y/n only wanted the best for Ollie.
âIt was really good. We had a slight delay but I hope I havenât missed all of qualifying.â She was a bit stressed.
The initial plan was to surprise Ollie that morning in his hotel room, but of course life had other plans. Instead, y/n came to the paddock and Terri had an even better idea.
It was almost the end of the qualifying session, Ollie successfully got into Q3 and y/n was buzzing with excitement.
âCome on, itâs your turn.â Ollieâs race engineer told the enthusiastic girl who put on some headphones and turned towards the mic.
With shaky hands, she pushed the speak button that allowed her to talk to Ollie who was behind the wheel, taking the last turn on the track.
âThatâs P4, Bearman.â She smiled and felt tears gathering in the corner of her eyes.
The other end of the line went silent. Ollie pushed the last few hundred metres and tried to process whether he heard the radio wrong.
ây/n?â He asked, too surprised to even process that he got P4.
âYou did a great job. Iâm proud of you.â She said and couldnât help the tears escaping from her eyes.
âBaby? What-â He was utterly confused and shocked. And he couldnât wait to get out of the car.
As soon as he did and took a picture with the team, he was practically running towards the garage. With his suit hanging from his waist, hair a mess and mind scattered, she appeared in front of him. She was smiling like a child on Christmas Eve and she looked so proud of her boyfriend. Ollie didnât know what was happening but oh boy was he happy!
ây/n!â He exclaimed and the girl ran right into his arms.
He hugged her so tightly she could barely breathe but none of that mattered. The outside world went quiet, it was just the two of them, getting lost in that embrace.
Ollie hugged her waist tight and burrowed his face in her neck, his safe place. The familiar scent made Ollie feel on top of the world, like he had everything he ever wanted in his arms.
She slightly pulled away and held his face in her hands. âYou did it!â She smiled and pecked his lips lightly.
âWhat are you doing here baby? How?â He was smiling uncontrollably and if it were possibly he would have jumped around.
âThought Iâd surprise you.â She said simply and fidgeted with his damp hair.
âI thought you had your exams.â
âI finished yesterday and I got on a flight at night.â
âFuck, youâre amazing.â He leaned in and without a worry in the world kissed her.
He didnât care who could see them, not his parents, siblings or team members. He just wanted to feel her close. His lips were gentle on hers but demanding. His tongue eventually found its way into her mouth and the y/n slightly moaned into the kiss.
When they pulled away and looked deep into each others eyes they both knew: all of the long distance was worth it.
âThank you.â Ollie simply said and took her hand leaving a kiss on her palm.
âYou donât have to thank me, Ollie. Iâm glad I can be here.â
They walked back to the hospitality where Ollieâs parents smiled proudly.
âWell done, son.â David hugged his oldest child.
âWeâre so proud of you, Ollie.â His mom said and hugged both Ollie and y/n.
âThanks guys.â Ollie looked genuinely happy and grateful to have his whole family, including y/n, at his home race. âDid you know about this?â He laughed.
âWe did. When she came to us with the idea we were like, sheâs a keeper.â His mom laughed and y/n knew she meant every word.
Ollie just shook his head and smiled lightly at the girl tucked under his arm.
The pair of them stayed for about an hour, because Ollie wanted the whole team to meet the girl who stole her heart. He was so adorable walking around the paddock and introducing y/n to everyone he knew as his girlfriend. Safe to say, the girl didnât mind at all and smiled at everyone.
By the time they finished up at the track, it was quite late and both of them just wanted to be alone.
Back at the hotel, the two of them said goodbye to Ollieâs family and with y/nâs luggage in his hand, the Brit driver led her in his hotel room.
He placed the suitcase next to the door and followed y/n into the room.
âWell it certainly looks better than on a tiny screen.â She looked around clearly amazed by the luxury room.
âSo do I, I hope.â He joked and took his jacket off.
Shaking her head, y/n went to flip the lights up but Ollie grabbed her hand and pulled her close. He didnât hesitate. He grabbed her face and kissed her so passionately that the girl forgot her own name.
It was rare when Ollie acted like that. Usually he was the gentle and patient kind but that night, y/n could feel he needed this.
His hands pulled her hair lightly while her hand rested on his chest feeling his rapid heartbeat.
âYou are amazing, I hope you know that.â Ollie pulled away just enough to be able to whisper these words to her.
The girlâs smile widened and closed the gap between their lips. They stood there in the dark hotel room, the sound of kissing heavy in the air.
y/n fidgeted with his shirt and gently caressed his bare stomach under the fabric. Ollie didnât need to think twice, he pulled away and dropped his shirt. His hands roamed her body and his brown eyes looked darker than usual. The girl nodded and he slowly unbuttoned her shirt, letting the thin fabric fall to the ground. It was like they didnât even need to speak, they understood each other without words.
Ollie quickly found her neck with his lips and started leaving wet kisses. y/n was panting and holding onto Ollieâs shoulders.
âOllieâŚâ she whispered.
âWhatever you need, baby.â His kisses travelled to her collarbone and his hands caressed her waist.
âI need-â her breath hitched. âYou, Ollie.â
âYou have me. Iâm here.â He pulled away and took her hands in his. âGosh, I love you.â
Tears started to gather in y/nâs eyes again. She had never been loved like that. This was pure love and adoration. No bullshit.
âI love you too, Bearman.â They could hear each other breathe.
âYou mean the world to me, darling.â He kissed her and guided her towards the bed. She fell on the comforter and Ollie stood in front of her. âYou have no idea how much all of this meant to me.â
He crawled on top of her and kissed her whole body like she was a goddess.
And that night, they took their relationship to the next level. Ollie took care of her like she was made out of porcelain and she fully gave herself to him. Just the two of them, the dimly lit hotel room and the sound of love and devotion hanging in the air.

Bed chem (fc43)
summary: Franco and Y/N canât leave each other alone. Always teasing and mocking each other, but that night the mockery turns to something else.
A/N: Iâve been obsessed with Franco lately and there is nearly not enough content of him, so I decided to write one myself. There might be a part 2 of this if youâre interested;) jealous!franco, implied mature content, praise!kink if you squint
requests are open!!!
Franco never had to try hard in order to get girls. Well at least until now. Y/N was something else, with her killing confidence and chatty personality, she immediately swept Franco off his feet. He couldnât quite explain how or when it happened but it definitely did.
After being promoted to full time driver at Alpine, the boy noticed Y/N instantly. Standing tall and trendy next to Kika in the garage, he wanted to talk to her. And oh did they talk. They had a dynamic like no one else: flirty insults here and there, stolen glances and snarky remarks. Thatâs how they liked it. Were they dating? Absolutely not. It was just a flirty friendship. As Y/N would put it.
The whole Alpine garage knew when those two get together thereâs no mercy.
âYou know, Iâm not an f1 driver but Iâm pretty sure you should drive ON the track.â Y/N said and Franco instead of getting insulted felt a warmth running through his body. He needed her real bad.
âOh yeah, princesa? But if I were to stay on the track, you would be missing me right now.â He stepped closer to her and the girl looked up at him with innocent eyes. Franco couldnât lie, he was lost in those eyes and had to fight really hard not to kiss her right there and then.
âOh so deeply. What would I even do without you?â The girl teased her and ran a hand through his race suit.
Before Franco could have had any reaction, the young girl turned around and walked off. All eyes were soon fixated on the mysterious girl who walked with such confidence it could destroy many modelsâ ego.
After the race had ended and all media duties were finished, Franco drove back to his hotel and tried forgetting about Y/N. He wondered whether she would be at the after party and if she were to attend, what would she wear. God, he is so sick.
âYou really want her, donât you?â Pierre asked him as they were sitting in the hotel lobby. He didnât even need to explain who he was thinking about, it was clear to Franco.
âFuck yeah.â The boy sighed and took a sip from his whiskey. âSheâs driving me crazy, but I love it.â
âYou sure you donât just want to mess around?â Well, it was a valid question.
It is kind of strange imagining Franco -the driver who flirts with reporters and admits on camera that he has done it in a car-, in love. Even to him it was odd. He was so used to girls only being attracted to his job rather than to him, but now it was different. He felt a real connection with Y/N, something he hasnât experienced in years, or maybe ever.
âIâm sure, mate. I know what I want.â
âThen what are you waiting for? Go get her.â Pierre patted his back and stood up as the two young girls arrived.
The sight in front of Franco was indescribable: Y/N wore a rather short dress with heels that defined her toned legs just right. Her hair was blown out and her red lips made Franco imagine things he shouldnât have.
âBeautiful, ma cherie.â Pierre kissed his girlfriend and they started heading towards the front door.
Franco didnât really know what to say. This wasnât hardly the time to tell her heâs fallen for her, but he couldnât just stay silent. At the same time, no words were expressive enough to describe how majestic she looked.
âHave I managed to break Franco Colapinto?â The girl laughed as she put her room key into her clutch.
The brunette boy grabbed the girl by her hips and wrapped his hands around her. He didnât look into her eyes, instead he inspected her from much closer and that damn dress didnât leave a lot to the imagination. Y/Nâs breath was caught up in her lungs and she suddenly didnât know how to react.
âYou have managed to make me speechless, thatâs what youâve done, carino.â He pulled her even closer and whispered in her ear. âNunca antes habĂa visto a una chica tan hermosa, princesa.â She had no idea what that meant, but she assumed he was more than pleased with her looks.
Franco left a small kiss on her neck and Y/N couldnât hide the goosebumps forming on her entire body.
This moment ended way too early for her liking, but Franco held the door open for her and in just a few seconds they were rolling down the streets of Barcelona.
The club was packed. Mainly with f1 personnel and drivers but also a few fans who managed to get tickets.
Y/N had never been to a place like that before. This truly wasnât her world. She preferred to stay at home with a good book, but the rare occasions she decided to go out, she went all out.
âLetâs get this party started.â Lando Norris yelled as he hugged the two Alpine drivers. Of course, he was the life of the party.
âCome on, letâs get something to drink.â Kika took Y/N by the arm and they headed straight to the bar.
Franco decided to let loose and quickly found his fellow drivers. He held conversation with a few of them and the minutes were passing fast.
He didnât even notice that Liam had disappeared. Although, soon enough he was informed by his former teammate.
âMate, Liam is drinking with your girlfriend.â Alex shouted over the music and pointed at the bar where Y/N was laughing at something Liam said.
His blood boiled. No like, actually boiled. He wanted to go over there and do, well something. He soon realised that would just put him and them in an awkward situation so he decided to wait. Hopefully they wonât get any closer.
The pair of them had arrived on the dance floor. Heads were turned, but none quite like Francoâs. Liam stood way too close to her. He even leaned in and whispered something in her ear, just like Franco had done an hour before that. The girl smiled and Franco swore he could hear her laugh even through the loud music.
Suddenly, Liam grabbed Y/N by the waist and started swaying with her to the music. Franco wanted to look away so badly, but he just couldnât. He eyed the young driver from afar.
Y/N had a few a drinks which definitely made her loosen up, but she was smart. Her every move was well thought through. Every move of her hips, every laugh she let out in the presence of Liam had a purpose. And it was to tease Franco.
That was the dynamic really. At least thatâs what Y/N thought. She thought they were messing around, always flirting but never actually stepping over the edge.
She looked straight into Francoâs eyes. While the Racing Bulls driver was dancing dangerously close to her. Franco stopped dancing a while ago and his lustful eyes were fixated on Y/N. Their intense eye contact had meaning, it was talking without words.
When Y/N smiled at him dangerously, he knew he had to finish what he barely started. Make her his.
Without apologising, he stumbled through the crowd and straight to where Y/N and Liam were dancing.
âHey man, having fun?â He asked and Liam immediately turned red and stepped away from the young girl.
âYeah, good fun.â Liam looked at the Alpine driver who was determined to stay alone with Y/N.
âMe and Y/N were just about to go. Right, carino?â He looked possessively at the girl who had his whole heart.
âIâm in the mood to dance though.â She looked innocently, but Franco knew what she was doing.
âBut I need to get you in bed by 12, remember?â Liam looked awfully uncomfortable and wanted to disappear but having stood between them it was quite impossible.
âI can get in bed by myself thank you very much.â
âI know, youâre a big girl.â He stepped closer and Liam was finally out of the picture. âBut how else would I show you who you really belong to?â He pulled her close, his bulge right in front of her butt.
The girl didnât answer, she just moved to the rhythm of the pop music that was playing, trying to ignore the fact that she was becoming hot. Her ass moved just right and touched just the right place. Francoâs grip on her hips tightened and he breathed on her neck.
âWas it funny to you? To see me raging while you laughed with him?â He nibbled in her ear.
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â She played dumb but oh did he love it.
âNo? So youâre not a fucking tease?â Her smell was intoxicating and all he wanted to do was take her right there. âAnd youâre not grinding on me right now like a good girl?â She almost wanted to moan at his dirty words.
âFranco-â
âYes, princesa?â He knew exactly what he was doing. âDo you want to go home and let me show you whose are you?â His voice was deeper and his accent thicker, and god did it turn her on.
Y/N didnât answer, but took his hand and started walking towards the exit with him. As soon as they were out in the fresh air, the f1 driver pushed her lightly so her back was met with the wall in the alley.
She was breathing heavily. So was he. God, she couldnât take her eyes off him. His white shirt slightly wrinkled, his hair a mess and his face was flushed.
His hands travelled to her waist and without hesitation, he kissed her for the first time. It was slow and passionate, but demanding. He wanted her to know that no one could make her feel this way. His tongue glided over hers and Y/N let out a silent moan. Her hands found his hair and pulled on it slightly. He was devouring her. Like heâd imagined for weeks. And God, she tasted even better than heâd imagined.
Franco pulled away and looked at the girl in front of him who wasnât so chatty anymore.
He attacked her neck and bit the skin there lightly. Just enough to make the girl cry out and leave her wanting more when he pulled away yet again.
âWhat are you doing?â The girl managed to ask.
âIf you think Iâm fucking you in an alley, youâre wrong, hermosa.â
âThen take me home, Franco.â
âIf I do, I wonât ever let you go, you know that right?â He turned serious which made Y/Nâs heart flutter.
âKind of donât want you to.â She kissed him and he realised he wasnât going to let her go ever.
She was his. And he was hers. From that moment on, they were each otherâs truly. Psychically or not, he was down bad for her.

Caught up in work, you find time to join your friends at the McLaren welcome dinner; meeting a certain British driver along the way. Whom you don't make the best first impression with.
req!...oscar+lily playing matchmakers? cute cute cuteeee. quick one for my lando lovers mwahhh
It takes a lot to convince you; likeâa lot. Partial credit is due to your pride, but honestly, it drove your friends mad.Â
Let's go out and celebrate! Just a good âol round of drinks. I have to study. Maybe next time.
Oh! I heard of this new place down the street where you custom make your own jewelry. Fun, no? I have enough already, thank you.
Five minutesâletâs just go grab coffee! Too tired. Go on without me.
âItâs my welcome dinner, mate. You canât do this to me now.â Oscarâs brown eyes flicker between you and his girlfriend, to which she apologetically shrugs. Deep down, it's like she can forehear your excuse. An essay is due, your internship, helping out at your local library. There's been too many times where youâve flaked, and they were starting to worry. The pile of clothes makes her wince as you greedily type away.Â
âI-Iâm sorry, but I have toââ
âReckon you donât have anything on your agenda that is as important as you make it out to seem,â he hums. Narrowed eyes burn down, flipping your screen towards him.
Compile a series of current eventsâŚBLAH BLAH BLAH. He stops caring, already bored.
âI wish I couldâseriously, Oscarâbut Iâm needed elsewhere.â A beat. âLily will keep me updated! Go Mango!â
The Australian rolls his eyes, sharp eyebrows expanding with desperation. âPapaya, mate, papaya.â You giggle, mimically apologizing. The clicks continue; round eyes laser focused. He tries getting your attention once more, but you donât look up at him at all. The driverâs girlfriend purses her pink lips, crossing her legs gingerly against the couch.
âI can help you write your paper. All of it. Just please, come with us.â Blue eyes wink back as you come to a halt, temptation swirling. âWeâre your friends and we want you there. Pretty please?â
The McLaren rookie thinks it has to do with his girlfriend's cute pout, but that is so far from it. It was well known that Lily Zneimer had a wicked talent for conducting a killer research essay. From her resources, to her dialogue. Itâs astonishing how smoothly it gets done too. With her, itâs a guaranteed pass. Now that was what you needed.Â
Berry lips twist back and forth for a second before stretching out. âTouch up on globalization effects in different cultures and we have ourselves a deal.â
-
The paper was coming along so perfectly that you almost wanted to cry. Your eyes buzz with excitement as you jot down a row of bullet points, conversing with Lily before settling on what to write.Â
âThis is not what I had in mind when you both made this stupid pact,â Oscar groans for the millionth time as he passes by, spotting you and his girlfriend crouched down on a table; computer, notebook, pencils, index cards, booksâeverythingâin hand. Â
âMate, this is worth half of my grade,â you shriek; jotting a few more possible ideas. Finally, your dazy orbs connect back onto him. âAs in fifty percent.â You gag. âDo you realize how terrifying that is?â
Lily shoos him. âWeâre almost done anyway, darling. Go enjoy the party.â The Australianâs jaw drops and she huffs, raising her neat brows. âGo, go, goooo.â
Despite his girlfriend and his best friend ignoring him, he has a splendid time. He curses beneath his breath when a large hand sprawls against his back. Lando laughs. âDonât worry, my date ditched me too,â he teases, blue eyes sparkling against the fuzzy lights. The rookie sighs plainly.
âI wasnât ditchedâ'' He angles his head to face back to where you and the dirty blond hunch over, whispering, attention drawn onto the bright screen. A few people even go as far as to try and take a peek, probably thinking you were working on anything McLaren. âYeah, uh, I guess you could say I was ditched.â
His teammate rubs his watch a couple or times, nothing but music lingering between them. No one really speaks up until Lily delicately makes her way. Oscar tilts his head politely. âDone?â
âNo quite yet, but she has it all under control.â She faces the British driver with a sheepish line formed between her pink lips. âHello, you must be Oscarâs new teammate.â A beat. âIâm Lily.â
âLando,â he can feel himself proclaiming. âI thought she was LilyâŚâ A lousy fingers points over to you. They both let out a weak chuckle. Thatâs my friend from back home, Oscar confirms. Her and Lily are super close, too. She beams, light blush feathering her full cheeks.
All of a suddenâthe Australian sparks up. âCome; let me introduce you two.â
The twenty-four doesn't really have anything better to do; business convos that have him apologizing profusely, cameras being shoved straight into his face, girls who never get the hint. âSure.âÂ
First thing he notices is the faded scar that hugs the bridge of your nose. It's almost completely goneâand he really shouldnât even be able to spot itâbut it's there, almost a glassy color that shines back at him. He notices how quick you are at typing; navy blue, fingers flying at a constant speed. Heâs impressed. Or the way you barely spare him a glance.Â
âDonât be rude, heâs talking to you,â Oscar hissed as he and Lily tower over you like a strict parent duo. You can distinguish the panic that laces through her when you didnât first respond, too worried at making a bad impression, even if it wasn't her leaving it behind.Â
âOf course, IâŚum, Iâm sorryâshit!â The laptop blinks back at you as a warning before settling in its death. A groan slips by, hands pressing harshly against the keys, then the screen. Nervously, you look up at Lily, biting your bottom lip. âWhat do I do? What should I do? What should I do?â
âCharge it when we get back,â Oscar advises, still waiting for you to greet the older McLaren driver. Lando stands back amused. âAs I was sayingââ
âItâs due at midnight, dimwit!â Itâs eleven-fifteen exactly. âI need to find a charger.â
âO-okay, lets just all calm down.â Lily turns to her boyfriend. âYou always carry one with you, let her borrow it.â He winces. Only during races, sweetheart, not an important event. She rubs her temples, curly hair running against the wind. âLetâs just calm down!â she screeches.
âNot helping,â you wail. âThatâs itâIâm leaving.â
Oscar is quick on his feet, already tugging you to stay firm. âWe haven't even gotten to the speech!â A familiar fire rushes through your orbs, burning him along the way. I donât give a shit about that right now! I need to turn this in.Â
âIâm sure Charlotte has one,â a friendly voice slides in, leaving you three to turn and face it. Lando awkwardly shrugs. âSheâs really well organized, you know her. Iâll be right back.â
âCan I go with you?â
Blue eyes shift over, surprised to hear you speak. Anxiously, you bounce up and down against your heels. He gulps. âOf course.â He turns back to the Australian, who is busy comforting his girlfriend as if it was her grade on the line. âIâll be right back.â
Thereâs a sort of tension that hangs steadilyâor maybe heâs the only one who thinks soâbut he tries his best to push past it. Of course, he was right, and Charlotte did have an extra charger, so thatâs quite nice. As if this were the one and only resource of water in a hot desert night, you immediately take it from him, plugging it fiercely.
âYou donât know how grateful I am. Youâre an absolute angel.â Youâre quick to pick up where you left off. If you try hard enough, you can remember exactly what you need in order to have it done in a few minutes.Â
âGlad I could help.â
He should probably leave, he thinks. Heâs done all he could, but he doesnât. Instead, he takes a seat across from you, contently closing his eyes as the sound of your keys brings him to a deep sleep. The sound of a computer shutting gently is what nudges him awake. You grimace. âIâm sorry, I shouldâve been more quiet.â
Lando scrunches his eyes, rubs them for a couple of minutes. âItâs alright. You done?â
âYes. Just in timeâyou really saved my ass, thank you again.â
A large hand waves you off, reclining against his comfortable spot. âYouâre pretty dedicated to your work,â he mutters.
âI sort of have to be if I want to graduate on time and on top of my game. All those sleepless nights couldnât have been for nothing.â
âWell, I donât really know you that wellâŚbut I hope you pass,â he says. âLando, by the wayâyou were probably too busy to catch it the first time.â He cocks his head to the side, a cheesy grin playing out. âAnd the second, as well.â
You giggle, shaking his humid hand. You donât even seem to mind. âThird times a charm, no?â
âIt appears it is.â
-
The objective was quite clear; get you to leave your rotting bed. It was astounding how long you could go without getting up. You always blame it on the fact thatâIâm finally done with my most important courses and I can sleep all I wantâandâI never wake you up, now do I?
So, naturally, when they march into your room, flashing a phoneâyou curl a full brow. âWhat am I looking at?â
Oscar smiles. âSave his number. Right now.â
Lando Norrisâwinks back at you, digits causing a migraine to stir. You huff, reaching out for the blankets once again. âAnd why would I do that?â
Lily hums. âI tried to stop him, I really did.â
Beady eyes peek demandingly. âWhat are you talking about?â
âItâs really just one dateââ
âWhat?â
âAnd if it doesnât work outââ
You sit up straight and agitated. âWhat?â
â...then you wonât ever have to see him again?â The Australian flinches at your cold stare. âHe thinks this was your ideaâŚbecause I told him it was, butâŚâ He winces harder. âDonât make me look bad and please go!â
Lily squeals when you fling up, hunting him down your flat. âI am going to kill you!â
-
The Brit beams sweetly at you, pinching his hand a couple of times to pump his circulation that was suddenly lacking. âIâm a bit surprised you wanted to seeââ
âThis was all Oscarâs idea.â He blinks and you purse your lips. âIâm sorry for dragging you into this. I think he does it because the third-wheel act is starting to get to him. Asshole,â you hiss at the thought of the rookie.
Lando coughs, playing with his bracelets. âYouâre not dragging me into anything. I want to be here.â Now itâs your turn to stare back at him, caught off guard. He chuckles. âI take it you havenât gone on a proper date in a while?â
âIs it that obvious?â
âNah,â he yawns. âOscar told me.â
Pounding your fist against the table, you yelp. âThat littleâhe wants to ruin my life, I see.â You force a tight smile. âIâve been busy with workâŚandâŚIâmââ A flash goes off; you flinch. âA total catch. Likeâtotal.â
Blue eyes flicker to the careful watchers surrounding the restaurant. âI donât doubt that.â
âGood,â you respond, finally allowing yourself to rest easy. You raise a sharp brow. âDonât you get tired of this?â
A few murmurs dance across the room, blinding lights continue. He sighs apologetically. âRight now I am. Letâs get out of here?â
You blush. âThe billâŚâ
âMy friend owns the restaurant. Iâll pay him later.â He grabs your hand. âLet's go.â
The moment you slip into his car, panic rises fast. âI donât hook up on first dates,â you spit out. âItâs not in my nature, I-I-I would rather get to know the personââ
âThen letâs get to know one another. I wasnât looking for anything likeâŚthat,â he whispers, timidly. His blue eyes burn against yours. âI only wanted the chance to get to know you now that you donât have your nose pressed up against a screen.â
A kind smile. âOkay.â
The more you two converse inside his crowded vehicle, the more you find yourself giggling against the rich seat. âYouâre quite the charmer, Mr. Norris.â
âThank God,â he jokes. âItâs working.â
Another giggle erupts when you nod. Youâre sure that you're flustered, burning bright red from all his pick up lines, but you donât have the strength to look away. âIâm glad we got the chance to talk. For real this time,â you add, sheepishly.Â
âSo do I.âÂ
And something inside of him tells him this isnât the last.

Call it what you want (ln4)
summary: y/n goes to Monaco to support Lando on the race weekend, but they both find themselves lost in their thoughts (and sheets)
A/N: decided to put this idea of mine into writing, not sure how I feel about it. bestfriend!lando, onebed!trope, implied mature contect, so please be aware. enjoy:)
Y/n and Lando had a friendship like no other. They were so close that most people just assumed they were dating.
None of them knew how they became friends exactly, one day they didnât even knew each other and the next day they were hanging out all the time.
It was the Monaco gp. The most exciting race of all the races. Lando decided to surprise y/n and fly her out for the weekend so she can be there with him. She had never been in Monaco before, though it was a dream of hers. Lando knew that very well, and it played out perfectly for him: heâd fly her out, sheâd get to see Monaco and where he lived and heâd have her right by his side. And thatâs exactly what happened.
Lando made sure to cancel everything for the day just so he could pick y/n up from the airport and show her around before the chaos that the gp would bring started. The young girl ran to him with open arms and Lando couldnât contain his smile. He was so incredibly happy that she was there to cheer on him. Her support meant so much to him, in fact her support meant the most. And to be able to make on of y/nâs dream come true was just a bonus.
They hugged for a little while and the McLaren driver felt something come alive in him as he was lost in her embrace.
They spend the whole day sightseeing, though Lando have seen all of that millions of time but seeing how excited she was he didnât mind at all.
Soon enough the day of the race came along and y/n was right there in the McLaren garage to support her best friend. She was so proud of him, which she made sure he knew. She told him multiple times what an incredible job heâs done and how proud of him she was. Lando loved hearing that, especially from her. It just felt different from her, like he really believed it when it came from her mouth.
It all felt so natural to him. Like they have done that countless times already. She fit in so well with his group of friends and even in the paddock. People could only say wonderful things about her and it made Landoâs heart burst with joy. He always knew she was special but hearing that from people close to him just reassured him. His family had only heard things about the girl who was apparently just a friend, so when they saw her in real life they were mesmerized by her intelligence and appearance as well. And Lando felt proud to be able to call her his best friend. But he found himself imagining what it would be like if they were a couple. What it would be like if sheâd accompany him to all races. That weekend wasnât the first time heâd think of such things, but the atmosphere and people made him act like they were a couple. He didnât correct people when they mentioned how pretty his girlfriend was or how he would place his hand on the small of her back as they left through the back door. He knew it wasnât right and that she didnât feel that way about him, but he couldnât help it. He kept it under wraps though, not wanting to make her feel more uncomfortable.
It was a ritual. All of the drivers (well almost) went clubbing after the race in the heart of f1. So of course it wasnât any different then, except for the fact that Lando brought y/n with him.
Lando was patiently waiting for the girl to be done with her makeup. He sat on his couch and scrolled mindlessly on his phone. Then she appeared and suddenly he forgot everything heâd already known. The dress she wore fit her so well, showing a lot of, -but not too much-, skin. She had heels on and dangly earrings. He had always found her beautiful but then he didnât even know what word is appropriate, no, expressive enough.
âSo, how do I look?â She asked while turning around a little so he could have a full view on her. It was an innocent question really, she expected a Lando-like answer. Something sarcastic but she always understood. In the end, thatâs one of the reasons why they were such good friends.
âI-âŚâ He started but found the words stuck in his throat. He didnât want to come off as a creep or weird, he didnât want to act like a total fool. âYou look nice, love.â He stood up signaling heâs also ready to leave.
She didnât understand what, but she could feel that something between them had changed in that moment. The whole vibe was different than before, but she shook it off thinking itâs from the adrenaline and days they had spent together.
In the crowded club the atmosphere was indescribable. She had never experienced anything similar to that. Sure, sheâd been to parties but this was so much different from that. Throughout the night she held conversations with loads of people, f1 drivers, their girlfriends, team members, Landoâs friends, really everyone. And how much he liked to watch that. He rarely left her side, only to bring some more drinks or to have a little chat with others.
âQuit staring.â Max Fewtrell, his other best friend said. He wanted to deny it, but he realized he was staring at her. He couldnât help it, she just looked so pretty and free dancing with Lily and Kika. âJust talk to her about it, man.â Max continued hugging his girlfriend and leaning on her as he had a lot to drink.
âThatâs not gonna happen.â He stated the obvious and took a sip of his drink. He wasnât too proud to admit that he was scared of rejection. Heâd always tell himself itâs better to just be her friend than to be no one to her. He wanted to be a part of her life, not just as her friend, but at least he was in her life like this. He couldnât take being away from her, nevermind never speaking to her again. So he acted like a friend in front of her, but deep in his thoughts, he wanted something more.
As the night had come to an, Lando, Max, Maxâs girlfriend and y/n went home. Lando was psychically supporting his friend, while the two girls were walking behind. They talked about seemingly meaningless things like purses and clothes but eventually the topic changed.
âHe loves you so much. I can tell.â Pietra stated and y/n was a bit confused as to how to interpret that. Did she mean as a friend or as more? Unfortunately she did not have the time to ask her, because they stepped into the lobby of the building and the two men stopped in front of them.
Max was talking gibberish and Lando was just nodding, trying really hard not to laugh at his friendâs drunken behavior. The elevator door opened and all of them stepped in.
Lando guided Max in his room, which y/n had slept in for the past couple of days but since now they were home, she actually had no idea where sheâd sleep.
Y/n poured a glass of cold water in a glass and tried to gather her thoughts. She couldnât stop thinking about what Maxâs girlfriend had said on the way home.
âI better go and get Max to bed. Good night y/n.â Pietra said and smiled at her.
âGood night.â Y/n laughed a bit and was left in total silence. She stood in the kitchen for a little while all alone, but at least she caught her breath after a long day.
âWhatâs wrong?â Lando appeared in the kitchen and poured himself a glass of water as well.
âIâm just a bit tired.â The young girl said and smiled at him.
âI feel that.â The McLaren driver sighed and looked at the clock that read 3 am. âWe can go to bed. I got your suitcase from Maxâs room and put it in my room. Iâll sleep on the couch.â Lando stated as he didnât want to make her feel uncomfortable in any way.
Y/n already felt like an intruder, sleeping in Maxâs room for days, now taking Landoâs room. She didnât want Lando sleeping on the couch in his own home.
âYou donât need to do that. Iâll sleep on the couch, I donât want to kick you out of your own room.â
âNonsense.â Lando said seriously.
âOkay, then weâll just both sleep in your bed.â Y/n blurted out not even thinking about it. A slight blush creeped up on her and his face too. She didnât know where her sudden courage came from, maybe from the alcohol she had consumed or the way his damned arms looked in that shirt. It didnât matter anyway, it was said out loud and it was happening.
âY/n y/l/n are you asking me to sleep with you?â Lando teased and the girl blushed even harder then threw a coaster at him. He couldnât contain his laughter and in the end y/n joined him as well.
They ended up in Landoâs room whispering as the pair in the next room was fast asleep. Y/n had spent time in the boyâs room over the last few days but never in his bed. And clearly not for a whole night.
âIâm just gonna take off my makeup.â Y/n picked up her pouch and pjs from her suitcase and opened the en-suite bathroom door.
Lando changed into his pjs and sat on his bed thoughts running through his mind at 300 km/h. Heâd slept with loads of women in his life, but never like this. How were they gonna share a bed? How would he stop himself from doing something he shouldnât do? He knew he shouldnât think of things like that, in the end they were good friends, doing something like that shouldnât have such a big effect on him.
She came out of the bathroom in tiny shorts and a graphic tee which made Lando lose all his clear thoughts he had managed to gather earlier. How can someone look so incredibly gorgeous effortlessly? He couldnât wrap his head around it.
âWhich side do you prefer?â He asked and y/n just pointed to the inside part, the one that was closest to the wall.
So there they were, settling in. They both pulled the covers on themselves and just laid there in silence. Until something broke their silence.
âAre they-â y/n looked at Lando with a confused look.
âYeahâŚâ he said, disgusted. âGod I hate that we share a wall.â He threw his hands in the air in disbelief but the young girl couldnât help but laugh at her best friendâs annoyance. âItâs not funny.â He mumbled but he was hiding a smile.
The sounds intensified and it was impossible to block out.
âHow can he even? Like he was wasted just minutes ago.â Y/n laughed.
âDonât even wanna know to be honest.â Lando reached for the remote control and switched on the tv in front of the bed. He considered the topic finished, as he really didnât want to put more thought into what his best mate and his girlfriend were doing. âWhat should we watch?â He scrolled through Netflix trying to find a distraction just until the two lovebirds decide to finish their activities.
They ended up choosing a comedy, as none of them wanted to actually pay attention the movie, rather just to listen to something. Actually, they ended up talking through the first part of the movie:
âIâve really enjoyed my stay. Thank you for everything Lando.â She said honestly and the light from the tv hit her face so perfectly, he could even see her tiny freckles that have appeared because of the strong Monaco sun.
He almost wanted to say that he is the one whoâs thankful, without her there he would have felt empty. And he likes to think his performance improved because she was there to cheer on him. âYou donât need to thank me. Iâm so glad youâre here, wish you could stay here for longer.â
âIn your bed?â Landoâs face instantly turned a bright shade of pink. God she was on fire. How could he not be glad? This was his dream. Which, again, is messed up but he couldnât help it.
âYes, y/n, in my bed.â He entered her little game. Now she was the one who was red from head to toe. She didnât really expect that answer from him, and definitely not in that tone. It was like he meant it? Could he mean it tho? âOww, are you blushing? Am I making you blush?â He kept going, and she kinda wanted to wipe the stupid grin from his face.
âI hate you.â
âWonât change the fact that youâre so utterly red.â Lando laughed until a pillow landed in his face. Oh she would so regret that. He practically jumped on her and attacked her waist. He knew she was extremely ticklish and he knew he would use that piece of information sometime. That battle was going on for a little while and perhaps they were louder than they had anticipated but in these moments, they felt truly alive. Lando somehow ended up on her, both panting and out of breath. If someone would have entered the room, they would have been very confused by the position they were in.
âWill you be good for me?â He kept on teasing and y/n just nodded and winked.
He rolled over to his side of the bed and tried to calm his whole body down. His body had a reaction he had never had with her before, it would have been embarrassing really. But there he was, aroused? Yeah, he was.
After theyâve both calmed down, they continued watching the movie. Y/n felt a wave of sleepiness wash through her body and her eyelids started feeling heavier. Lando immediately noticed that and asked if she wanted him to turn off the tv. She said no tho, and just kept fighting to stay awake.
She could hear Landoâs inhale and exhale and she concentrated on that. It was calming, but she didnât want the night to end. She wanted to stay up and never go to sleep if it meant that she could spend time with Lando. She knew it was late and that they had plans the next day, but she also figured that tomorrow wouldnât be the same. She wanted to stay this close to him forever. She would never admit that, even hardly to herself. She thought she was so stupid for falling for a guy like him. He was way out of her league. Little did she knew, Lando thought the same thing about himself. Funny thing, this love was.
Lando looked to his left and saw that y/n was fast asleep on her side. She was facing him, which he didnât mind at all.
He decided that he should probably hit the hay as well so he turned the tv off. He placed the remote on the bedside table and pulled the covers on himself as well as on her. She moved a bit. Actually a lot, as she was making herself comfortable on Landoâs shoulder. The brunette driver froze, not daring to move an inch. He didnât want to believe that SHE was cuddled into him basically. He could get used to that, he thought. He would love to get used to that.
He didnât know what the next day would bring for the pair of them. Maybe theyâd leave all of this intimacy right there in the bed and never ever talk about it. Maybe theyâd act like that didnât meant as much for them as it actually did. Maybe theyâd wake up in each otherâs embrace for the first time, but not the last. Lando didnât have a clue, but he didnât dare think about anything else than how lucky he was to experience that feeling with her. The feeling of true love.

As someone who has watched F1 for more than 15 years, I feel like it's a good time now before the ever so eventful Australian GP (and the 21 races later this year) to just remind everyone of a simple rule that some seem to have forgotten. "Oh goddammit *insert driver name*, why did you do that?!" is an acceptable reaction, in the comfort of your own home, to someone taking out your favorite from the race.
Sending death threats and hate to a driver is not.
The community is a much better place when we don't turn into rabid animals over the results of a single race, okay? Okay.
You are in love(cs55)
summary: the story of Carlos and y/n told through you are in love by Taylor Swift.
A/N: this is for all my Carlos girlies out there. I just felt like writing something based on Taylor lyrics so here it is. I hope you like reading it just as much as I liked writing it. please remember that english is not my first language, so if soemthing's not correct, feel free to tell me. enjoy:)
One look, dark room, meant just for you Time moved too fast, you play it back Buttons on a coat, light-hearted joke No proof, not much, but you saw enough
Carlos couldn't keep his eyes off her. Y/n's body swayed to the rythym of the loud music and the Ferrari driver felt a sudden rush of adrenaline and oxytocin through his body. She looked careless and happy, like life was nothing, but pure joy. Carlos took a sip of his drink and answered a question his friend had asked him, althought he didn't pay attention to him at all. Â
"God, you're so hooked." His friend had said, but Carlos just shook that comment off. But in reality, he knew he was. So utterly and irreversibly.Â
With a smile on her face, y/n looked at her boyfriend, who was already watching her. They exchanged a meaningful look that only they understood. This made the girl think of the time they had first met. How easy and how natural it was to talk to him, all because he always had a joke on hand or a compliment which always made her blush from head to toe.Â
Small talk, he drives, coffee at midnight The light reflects, the chain on your neck He says, "Look up", and your shoulders brush No proof, one touch, but you felt enough
For their first Valentine's Day, not even 3 months into dating, Carlos had flown out y/n to Italy. The young girl was incredibly grateful and she couldn't get her head around all of that. And if she only knew that that was just the beggining. The f1 driver had planned a whole thing for the celebration. After picking up some coffee for the both of them, in order for y/n to fight the jet lag, they hopped in the boy's valuable Ferrari and drove off..., well somewhere. Carlos had put on a blindfold on the girl and guided her towards his surprise. The girl, once again, was speechless. Flower, champagne, dinner and candles. This, she would have called, clichÊ. But now that she was in a relationship like this, she was just mesmerised by all of that. On top of all those things, the spaniard had another special gift for his girlfriend. A gorgeous diamond necklace. And that was it for the girl. Her eyes filled with tears and she jumped into Carlos' arms. No words could express how grateful y/n was, although she tried but Carlos kept convincing her that he was the lucky one. Wiping away her tears, he spoke up:
"Carino, look." And he pointed towards the sky. If the night wasn't magical enough, the shooting stars made it even more magical. They stayed like that, in each other's embrace until God knows how long. That was their moment.
You can hear it in the silence, silence, you You can feel it on the way home, way home, you You can see it with the lights out, lights out You are in love, true love You are in love
The first time Carlos had realized he was in love with her can't be described. He invited her to his house for a little date night in. It must've been their third date. He let y/n choose the movie and obviously she went for a rom-com. Carlos wasn't particulalry fond of those kind of movies, but he didn't care as long as she enjoyed them. The whole time he couldn't take his eyes off her. The way her shoulders rose when she laughed or how she giggled when Carlos added a funny comment. He knew that he wanted to hear that and feel what he felt then for the rest of his life. Even when they weren't talking, he could just jump around in happiness. He couldn't have explained it, but it didn't matter.Â
Sometimes, when he can't sleep, he thinks about their first date. How easily the conversation flew and how y/n kept saying that it was a pleasent night and she wanted to repeat it. These words kept replaying in his mind after dropping her off at her house.Â
Morning, his place, burnt toast, Sunday You keep his shirt, he keeps his word And for once, you let go, of your fears and your ghosts One step, not much, but it said enough
Her eyes fluttered open. It seemed way too early to be awake, so she closed her eyes and wanted to get lost in her dreams again. She couldn't though, because a pretty unpleasent smell had hit her nose. A few minutes later, the door of the bedroom opened and Carlos was juggling the tray and the coffee in his hands.Â
"What's all this?" She asked sleepily.
"Wanted to make you breakfast. I think it's edible." He laughed and placed the tray on her side of the bed. Because she had her own side of the bed by then. Infact, she had left skincare and clothes at his, which made him so incredibly happy.Â
"That is so sweet, Carlos. Thank you." Carlos sat next to her and left a little kiss on her cheek. They ate in silence but occasionally they would look at each other and smile from ear to ear.Â
She felt comfortable with him. She never thought that someone would make her feel this way, but here he was. Coming in her life and having such a huge impact on her. She wanted this to last forever and ever. To never let go of his hands. To always call him first when something good or bad happens. And she knew, he wanted the same. For the first time in her life, she trusted someone without a doubt, because she was sure, he wouldn't take it for granted.Â
"So, what do you want to do today?" Carlos asked while taking a sip of his coffee.
"Can we just stay in bed all day?" She asked and nuzzled her nose into his neck.Â
He smiled and placed his hand on her waist under her (his) shirt. "Sure we can, love."
You kiss on sidewalks, you fight and you talk One night he wakes, strange look on his face Pauses, then says, you're my best friend And you knew what it was He is in love
They barely fought. Mostly it was about Carlos wanting to spoil y/n with expensive gifts and y/n explaining that she does not need those things necessarily. She liked designer things, who doesn't, but she didn't want him spending so much on her. Although he said he's repaying her for all the things she had done for him. She never understood that. Apart from that, they were living in a happy and balanced relationship.Â
One night tho, after coming home from a friend's party, things got out of hand between them. A guy was flirting with y/n. At least from Carlos' point of view. Y/n obviously thought it was bullshit, they were just talking. She had tried to explain that to him, but he wasn't listening. He kept on telling his side of the story, how uncomfortable it was, how he wanted to interfere (which he did) and so on. There was a bit of yelling and blaming. They went to bed like that: mad, misunderstood and hurt.Â
Neither of them could sleep. While y/n lay still, but sleepless, Carlos was tossing and turning. Until about an hour later, when he turned the bedside lamp on.Â
"I'm really sorry. I overreacted." He sighed and he could see the tears in her eyes.Â
"Don't you trust me? I would never ever flirt with anyone. I'm with you, Carlos because I want to be with you."
"I do trust you and it was really silly of me to think you would do such things. I truly am so sorry." She could see the regret in his eyes. They weren't shining like they usually are, they were just dark and botomless. "I love you, okay? I'll never do that again." And he never did.Â
And so it goes You two are dancing in a snow globe, 'round and 'round And he keeps the picture of you in his office downtown
"Come in." Carlos shouted from his desk. His father walked in his simulator room.Â
"Am I bothering?" He asked looking at his son, lost in the screen of his computer.Â
"No, I've just finished." Carlos turned on his chair.Â
His father looked around the room, inspecting his trophies. He felt an immediate pride rushing through him. His son had made it. All those long hours at the track had finally paid off. He wandered around and finally stopped infront of his desk. They were a lot of nick nacks, wires and a picture frame. It was a picture of y/n and him from a while ago when they took a trip to the South of France. They were on the beach laying on sunbeds. They were tan and smiling like little kids. The two men smiled at the picture.Â
"I'm so glad you found her. You've changed so much since you've been with her, for the better of course." Carlos Sr. had said and patted his son's back.
"Yeah, I'm really happy." He agreed.
"I hope we can expect a wedding soon." His dad hinted. Carlos just laughed and opened a drawer. He picked up the little box and turned towards his dad.
"I hope so too." He opened up the box and inside was a beautiful diamond ring. It wasn't too flashy, knowing that y/n didn't like that, but that didn't mean it wasn't very valuable. His dad couldn't contain his excitment and hugged his son tight.
And you understand now why they lost their minds and fought the wars And why I've spent my whole life tryin' to put it into words
She was nervous. She was shaking a little aswell. Well, maybe the coffee didn't help that. Y/n took a final glance at herself in the mirror and sighed. She was looking more beautiful than ever. Happiness really suited her, tho the white didn't look too bad on her either. She looked down on her engagment ring and realized that another band will show up on her finger in just a few minutes. She took a deep breath, and fought back the tears. She is getting married to the love of her life.
In the meantime, Carlos was standing at the altar feeling more nervous than ever. What if she changed her mind? What if she ran away?
His best friend put a hand on his shoulder. Carlos looked at him and calmed down a little bit. It would be fine. And it was fine. They got married. Infront of their most loved friends and relatives.Â
After all those years together, the rest of their lives had just started. Long flights, sleepless nights and worries had paid off and there they were. All married up. All ready to live their happily ever after, because in the end they were just two kids who fell in love.

When I first saw you (op81)
summary: Oscar falls for y/n instantly.
A/N: enjoyed writing this a lot. just some pure fluff for my Oscar girlies out there. also we need more Oscar imagines. please remember that english is not my first language, so excuse me if something's not correct. enjoy
Oscar knew. He knew the first time he saw her. The way her navy blue dress hugged her body, the way she laughed, the way her hair fall into her face. He just knew he had to get her.
He didnât know who she was or why she was there then. He did know that he had been mesmerized by her beauty.
She just wanted to leave. She wasnât a very sociable person. She had her close friend group whom with she very much liked spending time with. And although she did have her best friend by her, it was just awkward for her. She didnât know anyone there, except Lily and her boyfriend. But the pair of them had disappeared minutes ago to have a chat with Alexâs boss. Time didnât seem to pass and y/n grew anxious. She was standing all alone with a glass of champagne in her hand.
She didnât know why she came. Maybe because her best friend had convinced her that it would be fun âhanging outâ with f1 drivers, at a formal dinner party. Tho she liked f1 and being in the same room as most drivers filled her with joy, the being alone thing didnât. Neither did the fact that she felt like an outsider.
On the other end of the room, Oscar stood with a glass of champagne in his hand. He had spent the entire evening looking at the heaven brought angel. He wanted to go up to her several times, but never actually worked up the courage. So he just stayed with the staring. Which might have resulted in some confused looks. Mainly from his teammate. After a while, Lando decided that it was enough.
âCome on now Osc. Go up to her.â The Brit looked at the brunette standing next to him.
âAnd what do I do? Just stand next to her?â Oscar pointed out, although he knew his point didnât make any sense. He didnât make any sense.
âOh, I donât know let me think. Maybe talk to her?â Lando joked and Oscar just rolled his eyes. If it would be that easy, he wouldnât think twice.
âI canât. She would think Iâm an idiot.â The young driver sighed and sipped his champagne.
âGo up to her and ask her if sheâs enjoying the party.â Lando suggested, hoping that his friend would finally make the step. âLook, sheâs alone. Sheâs been for a while. Iâm sure she would even enjoy your company.â He laughed and Oscar wanted to disappear.
He was right tho. She was standing alone for some time. Thereâs nothing wrong in accompanying someone whoâs standing all alone. And who knows, maybe Landoâs right. Maybe she would enjoy his company. More or less.
âOkay fine. Iâll go talk to her.â Oscar tightened his tie and inhaled nervously. He was going to finally do it.
âThatâs the spirit.â The McLaren driver exclaimed. âJust keep it light, crack a few jokes. You have pretty funny ones.â
âThanks.â Oscar said and left Lando on his own.
She wasnât that far away actually. But the whole way there, he had ran things through his mind. Keep it light. The words from his teammate kept repeating in his head. It shouldnât be that hard. Right?
She was ready to leave. Ready to go home and make a hot chocolate while listening to real music. Not this jazz that was making her head hurt. She would come up with some shitty excuse for Lily, something like a headache. She grabbed her clutch from the fancy table and started heading towards the exit. That was until she heard someone behind her.
âDid you drop this?â The brunette boy asked her. She looked confused, annoyed even. It was a penny in his hand. She did not drop that for sure.
He knew this excuse was terrible. It was everything but keeping it simple. And he felt like a fool. Did you drop this? Seriously? God he was so mad at himself.
Daniel joined Lando at the other end of the room. Lando had his eyes glued to the scene. He was cheering for Oscar when he had started going towards her. Then, not so much. He examined the actions of his teammate with wide eyes. What was he doing? Heâs messing it up big time.
âWhat are we watching?â The Alphatauri driver asked.
âOscar flirting.â Lando simply answered and tried to figure out his plan. Daniel shrugged his shoulder and decided to roll with it and catch up with the plot. He soon realized what was happening. And God, was he surprised.
Everybody knew Oscar as a professional and serious driver. Always had his eyes on the prize and nothing could get him out of his concentration. Although he was a rookie, he walked with confidence and broke down any wall that had blocked him in his career. But now, he looked like was completely changed: nervously scratching the back of his head as he was explaining something to the girl in front of him, probably mumbling and so on.
Near the exit, y/n stood with the racing driver. The Australian still waited for her answer although he knew she in fact didnât drop it. She couldnât have, because he was the one who took the penny out of his pocket and acted like someone dropped it. Just so he could have an excuse to talk to her. God, was he just an idiot.
âI didnât, no.â Y/n said and smiled lightly. She found him attractive. Not like intimidating, more like he was comforting. He stood tall infront of her and she could smell his cologne. It was pleasant.
âAlright then, sorry.â Oscar looked at her and boy he was falling. Now having heard her voice, he was hooked. He never thought that love at first sight could happen to him, but here he was. Making a fool of himself.
âMaybe you should keep it. It gives you luck apparently.â She explained to the driver.
âWell I guess it already did. Otherwise I wouldnât be talking to you.â He said without thinking. The girl blushed and smiled which made the butterflies in Oscarâs stomach erupt. Maybe he wasnât that bad at flirting after all. âIâm Oscar.â He offered his hand.
âY/n.â She shook his hand. Their hands fit perfectly. Perfect for them at least. The way her small hand stood in his big one. It was comfortable. And both of them could feel it. They eventually let go.
âThatâs a very pretty name.â Oscar said and he was well aware of how blushed his cheeks were. So were hers. âSo, are you enjoying the party?â
âI-itâs okay.â She chose her words carefully. She didnât want to hurt anyoneâs feelings.
âVery convincing.â He laughed and y/n felt her knees go weaker at the sound of that. She wouldnât mind hearing that more.
âI just donât really know anyone here.â She confessed and felt a bit small. He must think sheâs some kinda antisocial person. Which she was, to an extent.
âWell, now you know me.â The brunette smiled. âItâs not the best dinner party, but also not the worst. The music tho, horrible.â
âRight? It makes me want to sleep almost.â The two of them laughed and y/n felt comfortable for the first time that night.
The pair of them kept talking for a long time. In the mean time y/n had placed her clutch on the table, signaling that thereâs no way sheâs leaving. Although that was exactly her plan not that long ago. The talked about her studies, his career, where they both came from, and many many things. Before they knew it, people started leaving. Both of them acknowledged that the night had come to an end, though neither of them wanted to leave. But they had to.
âI had a really great time talking to you, y/n.â Oscar said as he escorted the girl out the place. He placed his hand on her lower back, not too low tho, no need to scare her away. Goosebumps ran through her whole body from the combination of his hand and the cold air. She didnât want the night to end.
âI had too.â The girl answered and smiled up at the boy in front of her. As soon as they stepped out of the venue the cold hit them both. It was the middle of the night so it was no surprise.
Oscar still kept his hand on her back but the girl had turned to face him. They were close, not too close but close enough. âCan I see you again sometime?â He asked and felt his cheeks burning, luckily it was dark.
âI would love that.â Y/n smiled and felt like nothing would ever top this feeling. Oscar actually wanted to see her again. Like a date. They would meet again and talk just like they did before. Unbelievable yet true.
The wind was blowing, messing up the girlâs hair. It didnât really bother her, she just wanted to freeze the moment. Stay like this forever, thatâs what they both wanted to do.
A strand of hair had escaped her elegant bun and Oscar quickly noticed. He put the strand behind her ear and inhaled sharply. Both of their hearts were racing. He lightly caressed her cheeks lovingly and the girl felt the warmth of his fingertips on her face. It was truly magical, until.
Until someone shouted out y/nâs name. Both of them pulled away awkwardly and just stood there. Lily and Alex walked up to the girl, at first not noticing the McLaren driver.
âOh thank God, youâre here.â Lily hugged y/n and she felt awkward as hell. âYou didnât answer your phone, I thought you left without us.â
âI was-â she was cut off by Alex who was the first to notice that y/n was in fact not standing alone.
âOscar?â The Williams driver furrowed his brows in confusion. Oscar just waved then shook his hand. It was all becoming too much. For y/n at least.
And then it hit Lily. The two were together. Of course they were. And they just disturbed them.
âOh.â Lily looked at the two of them. âSo weâre just gonna wait for you in the car. Whenever youâre ready.â She smiled and grabbed her boyfriendâs hand who was still very confused.
As soon as the pair left, y/n and Oscar bursted out laughing. What could have they done? The moment was gone anyway so why stress about it more?
âSo listen.â Oscar started. âI would be really happy if youâd go on a date with me.â He came out with it clear and simple.
The girl nodded. âI would love to go on a date with you, Oscar.â God, his name sounded so good from her mouth. He wanted to hear that playing on loop in his head.
Y/n gave the tall boy her number and he promised to call very soon. Little did she know, he would text her that night telling her again how much fun he had. Both of them started heading against different cars, y/n having carpooled with Lily and Alex, while Oscar drove himself home.
âI promise weâll finish what we started.â

quick thoughts about aftercare with oscar, just something short & messy i wrote last night at 3am. i have a lando fic coming out after the race today to celebrate, or as comfort. hope you have a lovely day. đ
"here we go..." you sit up more properly against the headboards of your bed as oscar enters the room again, a big glass of water in his hand.
he hands you the glass and you look up at him. everything is exhausting right now, but the slight smile you give him is more than enough. he gives your forehead a kiss before sitting down by your feet, taking one of them into his hands. "do you want me to draw you a bath?" he asks, his fingers stroking across the skin of your ankle subconsciously. "or do you want to take a shower?"
you take a couple of sips, feeling the drink cool you down and help you regain some energy instantly. you think for a moment before shaking your head. "i just..." you start, holding out your free hand towards him. "want you to come over here."
oscar's face softens as he takes your hand in his. he leaves slow kisses on your fingers, up your knuckles, and all the way along your arm and shoulder. when he arrives by your collarbone, you place the glass of water on your bedside table before lying down again. you hold up the covers for him, inviting him into your warm embrace. oscar's head settles on your chest, one of his hands coming up to caress the side of your body as you pull the covers over you.
you reach down to his hair, fingers threading through his soft strands. your lover lets out a content sigh, his eyes fluttering closed from of pleasure. the feeling of his bare body against yours, his skin on your skin, his heart connected to yours. itâs a feeling neither of you could ever forget.

Today is an exceptionally beautiful day in Switzerland. After days of rain, the beauty of fall is finally showing. The park is covered with leaves and families are spending quality time with each other.
Turning a page in my new book, I inhale the fresh smell of my cappuccino that I couldn't manage to drink in an hour. I'm just so caught up in this book, that I cannot concentrate on anything else. Earlier today, I decided to walk to the nearest park, find a bench and get lost in my book. And that's exactly what I did.
I put my book down and look at my surroundings: happy couples, dogs, trees, babies and older people. Everybodyâs chatting and enjoying the last bit of sunshine. The picture is so calming, I could sit here and observe things all day. I wonder if thereâs a job like- what the hell?
"Angie, was tast du?" I look down, where I find a dog playing with...my book? When has that fallen out of my lap? I must've been lost in my thoughts again. I should really focus more on whatâs happening around me.
"Das tut mir leid." A tall, blonde guy approaches me and takes my book out of what I suppose his dog's mouth. Only if I'd understand what he's saying.
"I'm sorry, I don't speak german." I pause the guy who was still talking to me I guess.
"I-I was just apologising. I'm so sorry, she usually doesn't do things like that. I guess she got excited?" He hands me over my book that's a bit wet, but it salvageable. "I- let me buy you a new one, this one's a bit...damaged."
"No, no. You really don't have to do that. It's completely fine, I actually like it better this way. It's unique." I smile to the very attractive blonde in front of me.
He runs a hand through his short hair and looks to his left, where his dog is, looking all innocent and cute. "Can't be mad at such an angel, right?" He asks while putting the leash on the puppy.
"No, you really can't." I giggle and scratch behind the dog's ear. "What's her name?"
"Angie." He looks at the animal then flashes his blue eyes on me. "And yours? What is your name?"
"Y/nâ I answer shyly. "Yours?"
"I'm Mick, nice to meet you." He shakes my hand and instead of feeling uncomfortable, I actually feel chills running up my spine. "Mind if I sit?"
âNot at all.â He sits pretty close to me and the smell of cologne hits me. I take a second to examine Mick: his short blond hair is somewhat messy, but it actually suits him. He has an Under Armour jogging set on, which shows off his massive arms. Before I know it, Iâm blushing at the sight of that.
"You have a really pretty accent, Y/n. I like it a lot." Mick looks into my eyes and smiles widely.
"Thank you." Just as he wants to say something, his dog jumps on the bench, just between us. I pet the fluffy animal and coo at her just like a baby. I can feel Mickâs eyes on me, his stare burning holes in my body. God heâs attractive.
âSo hey, I really do feel bad about the book. Itâs not acceptable.â He says and fumbles with one of his many bracelets.
âItâs totally fine. Now it has a story.â I smile at the blue eyed boy but he just doesnât let this matter to rest.
âStill, I would like to rebuy that. Or any book really.â Now he seems eager almost. Although, not gonna lie, a book shopping date doesnât sound half bad.
âOkay, alright. You can buy me a new book.â He smiles at this and nods. The dog between us starts barking so Mick takes her by the leash and stands up.
âI think someoneâs hungry.â He pets Angieâs head and the cutie starts to shake her tail. âI think we need to get going, but can I have your number? You know for the book?â He asks and I feel my face turning red.
âYeah, sure.â I try to act naturally as he hands me his phone and I type in my number. I save the number alongside with my name and hand him back the device.
âThank you. So, I guess Iâll see you later?â He scratches the back of his neck and I nod. He will see me again for sure. âWell then, have a nice day Y/n.â
âYou too, Mick.â I smile as he walks away. The leash however was twister around his feet so he almost fell over.
âGet it together, Mick.â

one where charles gets jealous of uncle pierre because ruby ââtalks all the time that she admires and loves him so much, i think you get the point lol
she love me she loves me not | charles leclerc
âUncle Pierre can do more push ups!â
âUncle Pierre knows how to cook pasta!â
âUncle Pierre let me drive his car!â
Uncle Pierre. Thatâs all Charles heard whenever Ruby was around. Pierre this, Pierre that. There wasnât a day that Pierreâs name wasnât mentioned in the Leclerc household.
It was a normal night for the Leclercâs. The family was together before Charles and Arthur had to go back to the race track. MathĂŠo and Ruby were jumping on the trampoline while the family made dinner in the kitchen.
âDid Ruby tell you she wants to go to the next race?â Y/n asked Charles as she took several plates from the cabinets.
âNo she hasnât. When did she tell you this?â Charles wondered.
âUhh, I think two weeks ago? I was talking with Kika on the phone and Pierre was there tooââ
There it was again. Pierre. He loves his friend, donât get him wrong, but the constant mention of the frenchman definitely made Charles start thinking bad about himself. Even his own daughter talked more about Uncle Pierre than Papa Charles. Was there something wrong with him? There had to be if Ruby always talked about Pierre.
âHoney? Charles? Are you okay?â Y/n asked when she noticed that Charles wasnât listening to her.
âYeah, yeah, next race sheâll be there. Iâll tell Fred that Rubyâs coming.â Charles cleared his throat.
âActually she told me she wants to go in the Alpine garage with Pierre. Thatâs why I was going to ask you if it was okay with you before you zoned out. . .â
Great.
âIs that what she wants? Is she sure? Maybe she should stay in the Ferrari garage, Joris is going to be there so she wonât be alone. And I take great care of her so why does she want to be in the Alpine garage? Iâm her papa, she love me, right?â Charles rambled on as he aggressively chopped vegetables.
âCharles, look at me. And please put down the knife.â Y/n sighed.
âAm I doing something wrong?â Charles finally asked.
âWhat?â
âAm I doing something wrong? I mean Ruby always has something to say about Pierre . . How he cooks better than me, he tells better jokes, I just . . . I just get this feeling that Pierre is doing something that Iâm not that Ruby is the only one who notices. Itâs always Uncle Pierre.â
âCharles, sheâs your daughter, of course she loves you.â Y/n assured him.
âBut does she like me?â He asked.
âWhat?â
âDoes Ruby like me? I just . . Maybe she doesnât like me, maybe she likes Pierre better, maybe Iâm not a good papa to her.â Charles went on.
âI know Ruby talks about Pierre a lot, but she also talks nonstop about her papa. Iâll talk to her tonight,â Y/n replied. âYouâre a great father to our babies, Charles. Donât ever doubt yourself. The kids and I love and like you.â
âShe can go to the Alpine garage next race if that is what she wants. I donât mind,âCharles sighed. Weeks ago, Pierre had told Charles that he missed Ruby and how he had some presents for her. âIâll have ThĂŠo and you in my corner.â
âSweetheart, youâre the best papa in the whole damn world. Weâll always be with you.â
