I think people are misinterpreting Ocon's canal interview, not his radio after the race.

He said in french "Je voudrais surtout féliciter Isack. Ça fait plaisir de voir, voilà, un Français sur le podium et je suis content que, que ce soit lui."

"I would especially like to congratulate Isack. It's great to see a Frenchman on the podium and I'm happy that it's him."

Nothing malicious or shady at all, especially if you take into account that during the red flag, Hadjar was in P3. The resumption order was: 12, 44, 6, 63, 10. Ocon wouldn't have known about the changes in positions after the restart and the penalties applied afterwards unlike us viewers. He would have seen the final finishing positions and that was it.

I think people need to understand that the information we have would be completely different from what drivers have especially right after a race when they are immediately interviewed.

Gasly fans are obsessed with misinterpreting and villainizing Ocon but it doesn't help that people are now lacking in comprehension and logic skills.

and i agree, it truly is nothing malicious, but people are just obsessed with making him a villain for no reason at all.
