A fun tip about me, if you have a problem with something I say, I’m happy to talk about it like adults. But if I share my experience with something rather serious because you’re fanfic reminded me of that, and you have a problem with that, delete my comment. Don’t talk down to me. And don’t act like it’s not a reasonable connection to make if you choose to argue with me.

Is it just me or do AWAE fics have a different ✨vibe✨ to them that AOGG fics just don’t?

I loved AWAE, and I loved everything it did for this beautiful fandom, but something about picturing THOSE characters doing couple-y, fanfic-y things bothers me where it doesn’t with book!shirbert or Sullivanseries!shirbert! I mean, AOGG is not the kind of story I typically read smut about regardless, and it’s not just smut that I’m referring to, but I vastly prefer book verse or Sullivan verse fics over awae fics.

so far, no body, no crime is by FAR my favourite (it’s like before he cheats meets dateline), but I’ve liked almost all of it on first listen. still got a few songs left to listen to though, will update.

I just gotta say... Taylor Swift’s “The Lakes” would make a great a great Pride and Prejudice song-fic song. Something short, sweet, and extra fluffy. Literally just Darcy and Elizabeth sitting together comforting each other at Pemberley after a particularly difficult social call or a disastrous trip to London. Just think about it.

Uhhh. So, because of quarantine, prom was cancelled for my school board. Instead of doing nothing, the school board decided to hold a “virtual prom” (which is almost as bad) and they said there would be “celebrity cameos”. Of course, I thought that would just mean old people who used to be slightly famous but I was only partially wrong! So far, there have been three notable people, including Kyle Meager from AWAE! WHAT???

Also, Carlos from YTV and the Cineplex pre-show guy!!

Not AWEA related, but this week you can rent the musical Bandstand on playbill.com for $6.99 usd from 72 HOURS. It’s a great show about a group of starving artists who are also struggling ww2 vets who start a band with a war widow. Weird description but it’s the best way I can describe it right now. Please go and rent it if you like musicals and jazz music, it is such a beautiful show.

Playbill Will Stream Broadway's Bandstand Musical Film, Starring Laura Osnes and Corey Cott | Playbill

The event will also feature new interviews with Osnes, Cott, Beth Leavel, director-choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, and co-creators Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor.

The 2017 Broadway musical Bandstand will be streamed on Playbill beginning 8 PM ET, April 10.

The first Playbill Playback, Bandstand will be priced at $6.99 (with a portion of the proceeds going to The Actors Fund) and available through April 17. Original cast members will also join viewers at 8 PM ET April 11 for a live watch party on Twitter. Viewers will be able to watch the show for three days once the payment is processed.
