Guys, none of this is how buying a gun works. I sell guns. Like that is my actual job.

Felons can’t legally purchase or have access to firearms.

You can’t “buy a gun online”. If you purchase a firearm online it is shipped to a licensed dealer, and they run a background check before you can take it home, just like any normal transaction.

Gun show dealers run the same background check I do.

The “no fly list” and “terrorist watch list” aren’t grounds for denial because they are lists which are run without judicial oversight or due process.

If someone makes insinuations about harming another person when looking to buy a gun, the transaction stops.

Ok so let’s recap!

-Guy is legally barred from owning a firearm due to his multiple run-ins with the police -Guy has a history of various mental illnesses (also bars him from owning a gun.) -Somehow obtains a rifle illegally -By doing this he bypasses the mandatory background checks that gun-control proponents think don’t exist. -Illegally transports his illegal weapon to a Planned Parenthood building -Illegally brandishes said weapon in public -Brings gun in to a building that bans guns on the premises (illegally) -Shoots people (very illegal) So what’s the solution according to Obama? Punish law abiding gun owners… Despite the fact that this guy broke about every gun control law on the book to get his weapon and kill people. He targeted the police because they posed the biggest threat. A concealed handgun wouldn’t have raised his suspicion and the carrier could have shot the guy in the face (which is what he deserved but unfortunately he is still alive). “But America has a problem with gun violence! It’s an epidemic!!!!” WELL… according to the FBI gun crime is currently at a 20+ year LOW and has shown a downward trend for the last 2 decades… meanwhile the number of guns in the U.S. has more than doubled and the amount of concealed carry holders has MORE than quintupled in the last 20 years. “But assault rifles!!!!” (he didn’t use an assault rifle) Of the ~11,000 murders by gun in the United States last year, 248 of them involved rifles of any type. (that includes semi-auto, bolt action, lever action, single shot, etc. It also includes gang shootings, shootings with illegal guns and justified homicide)

Do people seriously think more gun control will help? It’s been proven in this country, the best way to stop a mass shooter is to SHOOT THEM.
