daily reminder that you. are. responsible. for. your. triggers. ik i may get shit for this but it has to be said. yes, people should tag or put warnings for things that may be triggering for some but at the same token, it is not their responsibility to do that. that is not owed to you at all, and it’s pretty spoiled-like to think so. it’s up to yourself to make sure you take the proper precautions in relation to your triggers. like most people, i have my own set of triggers but i block tags and users who tend to post about said triggers. and if i come across something that does trigger me, i simply block & move on. and i understand not everyone is like me but at the same time, your triggers are your responsibility. no one else’s. period.

Every girl has had the experience where a creepy guy asks for our number and we don’t want to give it to him, but we also don’t want to get gutted in a back alley. “Give him a fake number!” I hear you call, okay and then he says “okay let me call you real quick!” Because they are learning. “Give them your number and then block them!” Okay and then they can plug it into something like Spokeo, pay $10 and know everything about you. So what do you do?

First pick a fake name, I use Jessica, then download the Google Voice app, hook it up to your email, pick a number, and set up a fake greeting with your fake name. You can set it to ring your actual phone like a normal call or text but they don’t have real info on you.
