Elon Musk really said: Destroy Twitter any% speedrun [WR]
The best part is he has set a one-week deadline for people to implement the changes to verification and twitter blue, which would be absurd even if he hadn't dismantled the leadership and ordered tons of people fired.
Hes literally on world record pace
twitter will be dead before the end of the year
They're price-gouging so hard it surprised even Wells Fargo.
Wells Fargo analyst Mohit Bansal said the new pricing range for the vaccine could add around $2.5 billion to $3 billion in annual revenue for Pfizer.
"This is much higher than our assumption of $50 per shot, and even assuming $80 per shot net price in high-income countries, we see $2 per share upside to our estimates" from the new prices, Bansal wrote in a research note.
Price hikes like this are only possible because mRNA vaccine manufacturers refuse to release the patents and allow cheaper copies of the technology to be made, even though that would unquestionably speed access to more of the world. But releasing the patents would destroy the grip that Pfizer-BionTech and Moderna have on the mRNA vaccine market, preventing them from fixing prices like this. Both Moderna's and Pfizer's share prices have shot upwards after announcing this.
It is so hard to not want to kill specific people every day
They're marking up vaccines MADE WITH DONATIONS AND PUBLIC MONEY. They are literally profiting off things that we paid for. This should radicalize you
Side note: It's not just a matter of "release the patents on the vaccines."
It's also, "release the patents on the machines that make the vaccines, machines that package them, the software that tracks the production and the lot numbers, the machines that make the machines that make the vaccines," and so on.
If Pfizer offers to "release the patents" as "a gesture of goodwill," that will NOT fix the problems.
The proprietary medical industry is packed with copyright and patent restrictions all the way through; there is no "release this one to allow people better access to health care."
We need a reform that says "if you built it with government money, you can't own the copyrights or patents. If you built it partially with government money, there's a price cap and short-term non-renewable patents and copyrights."
There are political newspaper comics that aren't this succinct
People are acting so weird and possessive of Markiplier for the whole OnlyFans situation. He's an adult. He's an adult who's been a celebrity for years. He knows people thirst on him. That's why he had this idea in the first place. He's not some naive kid you must protect. He's not some innocent soul that the evil sluts of Tumblr and Twitter will corrupt. He knows the Internet, he knows his fans and he knows his job.
He's an adult and he can make his own choices.
I went and found this post for this exact take:
He knows what he’s doing
"I could make that abstract art, anyone could" then make it. Unironically. Go buy some paints. Do a mild googling. Do it, make the same art. See what it feels like. Find out what it inspires in you. Back in high school one kid was pretty disparaging of Jackson Pollock's art until we MADE Jackson Pollocks and it became his THING for the rest of the year. You could go into the art room on break to find him picking out colors and preparing space to make em. Try on the abstract art and let yourself forge a genuine connection to it, coward.
I love how in MID you’re constantly just mixing chamomile and garlic, and it’s assumed someone would take that?? As a medicine?? It’s not even clear what’s going to be made out of these herbs, a tea? infusion? tincture? Nobody is drinking that.
It’s also funny how the customers are expecting one single cure for 3 different ailments, can you imagine walking into a pharmacy and being like ‘I have a headache, anxiety and a heart problem, mix me a medicine that works for all 3 at once thanks’ but this is exactly how MID logic works.
Nobody is thinking of how that thing would taste?? And in herbalism you’re not supposed to randomly mix 3 herbs even when they have similar effects because you don’t know how they’re going to interact with each other, unless you’re extremely experienced and tried every single combination and tested it for side effects. Nancy is just throwing whatever in there and jamming it together then getting praised.
Also some of these conditions are not something you would go to a herbal shop for. Unbearable migraines? Strong heart issues? It sounds like these people should be halfway into surgery not testing their limits with concoctions Nancy made, you think Nancy checked if some of those herbs will interact badly with the patient’s problems? I wouldn’t bet on it. This is like drinking that green stuff Rene offers you at the beginning of the Crystal Skull.
Also, what is a ‘slight’ migraine? Who… ever had just a ‘slight’ migraine? A person who felt comfortable putting that down has never had a migraine in their life.
Happy Get-Shot-in-The-Head Day!
On this day in history, you will be shot in the head!

excuse me—what is that?
there’s only one man responsible for this:
#We all need a platonic soulmate like Steve
#Be quiet, Camila’s having a moment
Ok so we all love a hyperfixation but does anyone else ever avoid certain things because you feel like you don’t have the time to be fixated on that, or that you aren’t in the right headspace for this to become your latest obsession
hypothesis: the salt & pepper diner experiment can no longer be conducted as it stands, because everyone is now fully attuned to the opening bars of tom jones’ “what’s new pussycat?”, classically conditioned into a fight-or-flight response. however, this experience can be replicated using 21 back-to-back plays of lou bega’s 1999 hit song “mambo no. 5″, as the general response to “mambo no. 5″ being played twice in a row is not, “hey someone’s playing “mambo no. 5″ again,” but rather, “hey, lou bega’s 1999 hit song “mambo no. 5″ is a lot longer than i first thought.”
So what’s the “It’s Not Unusual” in this situation
Livin’ la Vida Loca
hear me out.. stranger things 5.. it starts with Dustin sitting in his room on the edge of his bed. He’s sobbing looking at a Polaroid picture of him with Eddie and the rest of the hellfire club. He’s deep in grief, missing Eddie and wishing he could’ve done more to save him. Then, on Dustin’s nightstand, his lamp starts flickering. But it’s not Vecna.
*S…. O…. S……………… S…. O…. S*
It’s Eddie calling out to Dustin from the upside down to let him know he’s still alive.
