Trip Log- Day 4-6

Day 4 8/20/2015

Departure- 10:34 AM

stop #1- 11:39 AM- Milwaukee- Public Market Area, 1123 miles (trip)- Awesome city!!

gas # 5- 342.1 miles (since last fill), 1217.5 miles (trip), $2.899 per gallon, 6.78 gallons/ $19.66 total, 50.46 MPG- driving 65-70 MPH behind trucks, up and downhill

stop #2- rest area- 5:13 PM-Scenic Overlook, 1313 miles (trip)

stop #3- 6:27 PM- Paul Bunyan Lodge Museum (and blue ox)- 1373 miles (trip)

stop #4- 8:08 PM- Dinner at Mickey’ Diner in St. Paul, MN, 1456 miles (trip)— got harassed by a (presumably) homeless person for money in front of the diner, great food, not such a great experience

Sleep: 9:29 PM- Prairie Inn, Eden Prairie, MN, 1497 miles (trip)

Day 5 8/21/2015

Departure- 10:30 AM

stop #1- Breakfast/ Brunch at Original Pancake House- 1498.4 miles (trip)- YUMMM

stop #2- Katie’s house (to drop Ann off)- a bit before 12 PM

stop #3- 12PM- Downtown Minneapolis, 1500 miles (trip)- Fabian visits mills ruins and walks (without the aid of a GPS) around in the city

stop #4- Dinner at Chevy’s and then went to Mall of America- visited Lego shop and saw dollar coasters…in a mall….we were so lost!

Sleep- at Katie’s Home in Eden Prairie- 1519 miles (trip)— we both fit on a couch!

Day 6 8/22/2015

Departure at 9:33 AM

stop #1- Panera Bread- 1521 miles (trip)

Gas #6- 304.7 miles (since last fill up),1522 miles (trip)- Eden Prairie Costco, $2.54/ gallon, 6.311 gallons, $16.09 total, 48.28 MPG

stop #2- 12:16 PM- St. Peter, MN, 1579 miles (trip)- pharmacy to get nail clippers os Ann does not freak out over long toe nails

stop #3- rest area- 2:42 PM- near Sioux Falls,SD 1705.4 miles (trip)

stop #4- 3:43 PM- Blue Mounds State Park, SD- 1723 miles (trip)

stop #5- Dinner around 6PM- Marlin’s Family Restaurant near Sioux Falls, SD- 1754 miles (trip)- super yummy and spent just around 20 bucks for a steak and rib dinner—including beverage and homemade pie!

stop #6- 7:02 PM- Falls Park, Sioux Falls, SD- 1757 miles (trip)

stop #7- sculpture garden- AMAAAAZING

stop # 3- 9:23 PM, 472.3 miles (trip)- Dinner at Skyline Chili, Cincinnati

Day 2: 8/18/2015

Sleep: around 6:00 PM- 682.8 miles (trip)- Buck Creek State Park, OH, 7:30- 8:30- time it took F to pump air mattress with bike pump. Sometime during the night we found a raccoon munching on our graham crackers and another unknown assailant ran off with our marshmallows

Day 3: 2/19/2015
