Pencil and charcoal drawings. I worked on Crowley's portrait for 6 weeks. And I spent 19 weeks working on Aziraphale's portrait. These two drawings are among my favorites 🥹

I just had to make a gif of this glorious moment from the video of Michael paying tribute to Richard Burton. The word majestic feels like an incredibly fitting description for how Michael looks here. The way he turns around, the juxtaposition of his handsome face against the Welsh landscape, as if a storied king plucked from the pages of Celtic history. And for how regal Michael's bearing is here, it seems to run almost entirely counter to how he perceives himself, and wishes to be perceived: Not as a king, as someone above or greater than others, but as an ordinary man. Someone who believes in the place he grew up in, and in the people who live there. It's that very humility and grounded nature that makes him so attractive and even more desirable than he already is.

Michael is truly beautiful, inside and out...

Michael Sheen didn’t play Aziraphale. He became centuries of repression, divine longing, and moral crisis wrapped in a bowtie. And David Tennant didn’t act Crowley. He embodied 6,000 years of slow-burn yearning and sunglasses-covered heartbreak. That isn’t television, that is spiritual devastation in HD.
