In this drawing Percy is a younging just spawned into the world he's an angel the lowest ranking which is why he has 1 stripe on his shoulder with a line through it!!! Plus the ring around his horn which acts like house arrest he can't do anything extreme with his powers or go on earth or really anywhere without an authority escorting him or giving permission. The cross that was burned on his neck is to bind him to this "job" of being a servant of God the black eye was because of hesitation and being uncooperative...frown. He's not angry or sad or scared I'm glad I could draw his expression exactly like I wanted bc he genuinely feels nothing towards this violence and excessive force in his mind He's learned how the system works and what the boundaries are. (Very bad system..very bad boundaries) ANYWAY, later Percy becomes an archangel and loses the ring on his horn yap yap yap I'll figure out the rest...
