here is a short blurb from @mvpmunchkin about Element Mystic: The winner of both the Pacific Showdown and Korean Contenders 2019 Season 1 had a rather difficult time during Season 2. They won only two out of their seven regular season matches they barely managed to secure playoffs. Despite this they had a quite successful playoffs run, winning convincingly against GCBW and the up until then dominant Gen.G, only to lose against Runaway in a close finals match. The players to pay attention to on the team are without a doubt the DPS players. Sp9rk1e is probably one of the most individually skilled players in the tournament, being able to play a variety of heroes at an extremely high level. Together with Xzi, who was benched for almost all of the first half of 2019 and finally made his (quite successful) return last season, and Doha, whose Sombra was essential to many of EM’s wins in the past, they are the main threat other teams should look out for.
Talon Esports is one of the most diverse teams, with star players from Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. They are extremely versatile, and had a dominating 7-0 run in PAC season 2 as they are a team that transition extremely smoothly from 3-3 into 2-2-2. They are the reason PAC region took a spot from CN region in the gauntlet by defeating the current CN champion LGE Huya in Pacfic showdown. Mangojai is one of the most blood thirsty support players, and their dps trio : Bashful, patiphan and oputo were mad lads that played dps into 3-3 and still won.
