Just had the silly thought that Grace has to change his vocabulary habits again when he starts teaching Eridian pebbles. Human swears mean nothing to them, but considering the culture around eating, if he starts tossing around the names of foods as cuss word placeholders the parents would be outraged. āFudgeā is reference to food?! Mr Grace! You can say that in front of the children!

Hi, currently reading Doves and Arrows and I just wanted to say thank you to how you represented social awkwardness and anxiety through Mick. It makes me feel really comfortable and accepted idk because it's LITERALLY how I feel and what I think most of the time and the whole character is so relatable. I have never read somebody describe it so well

I ended up putting a lot of myself into Mick and Josef as I wrote them, so a lot of Mickās struggles with anxiety and feeling like he doesnāt fit in are based on my own experiences with it. Not sure when itāll be out but hopefully soon, the main thing is I have not forgotten about my boys!! I have two chapters and an epilogue planned, and most of itās actually written, Iām just caught up in the editing weeds
