lloyd headcanon: from growing up so quickly, he gained stretch marks on his back.

stretch marks, otherwise known as striae are common for teenage boys going through puberty if they are growing at a rapid pace. They usually show up on their backs and scar. I feel like this makes sense for lloyd since he was literally forced to grow up in a good 5 seconds.

btw jay’s hair being short in s4 is not by personal choice . it’s getting cut really dramatically in the middle of a mission .mid-fight with some villain . like he dodges a hit a second too slow and there’s this awful SHFFFT noise and his ponytail just hits the floor . Or better yet during some bitch fit with kai there’s one wild gesture with his sword and suddenly it’s gone

I've been thinking about this one for a while, especially when rewatching the pilot episodes

I completely forgot to mention it until I saw a video about it!

JAY USED TO HAVE AN ACCENT!!!!

it was like this Boston accent or something!

It was EXTREMELY noticeable in the pilot episodes and sometimes in season 1 (like when Jay was initially describing his parents)!!!

So.

Nya's original symbol was the Phoenix, right? Typically associated with fire; which makes sense, she's Kai's sister, so there's a connection there. However, even when she becomes the water ninja, it becomes her elemental symbol. But what if it not the element of water's symbol, but her elemental symbol.

Along with fire, phoenixes represent rebirth, and Nya went from being tied to fire being Kai's sister and being Samurai X, to being one of the opposite element; being reborn in a new light to herself, where she is no longer the "powerless" one on the team like she used to think of herself as.

So what if the phoenix is her symbol not because of its fire aspect, but because of its rebirth one.
