Stupid ass takes that remind me Wu haters don’t watch their own damn show:
1. "Wu told Garmadon to get the sword"
He didn’t tell Garmadon to do shit. Garmadon chose to get the sword himself, even though they weren’t supposed to leave the monastery. 💀
2. "Wu pressured Garmadon into sacrificing himself"
No he fucking didn’t. Literally the VERY FIRST thing he says to him in response to the very idea of Garmadon sacrificing himself is "I cannot allow this brother". Again, Garmadon made the decision all on his own. (That, and there was literally no other option, since HE was the one that cursed the Anacondri Generals. But apparently there are some dumdums that claim that Wu could’ve taken his place simply because he was present during the trial. The straight up refusal to use any brain cells here is almost impressive. 💀)
3. "Wu never cared about Morro"
Ah yes. That’s why he went out looking for him and saved him from the Grundle. That’s why he left the gates open for him after he left. That’s why he tried to save him after all the evil shit he pulled. That’s why he screamed in despair when he died. That’s why he had a guilt induced dream about him. Because he never cared about him at all. Toootally.
4. "Wu betrayed Aspheera"
He literally went out of his way to honor his promise, even when Garmadon didn’t want to. She wanted to learn Spinjitzu, he taught her Spinjitzu. The only condition he gave her was that she didn’t use it for evil. And what did she do? Started a damn coup and nearly plunged the realm into war. Classic evil. SHE BETRAYED HIM.
Seriously, what is it about Wu that makes people turn their brains off? This is stuff that’s CLEARLY spelled out to the audience. 😭
