hii i'm back again, sorry for the hiatus, i kind of forgot about my blog because of work. i tried properly rendering a digital drawing for the first time! i'm not sure it came out that great, but it's good enough for a first attempt :) i'll try to get back to drawing a bit more regularly, i've been getting really into jjk, The Thing 1982, still residue (okay that one's really niche but i can link a gameplay by fooster on yt if i do post fanart at some point, the fandom is currently just me lol)

getting really into analog art

this isn't a new art post, i just really need to get it out there, ignore it if you want :/ so, this is a sketch i did, and i'm not very good at art yet, but i'd still say the silhouettes are nice and i like the overall flow and color scheme:

i just feel so pissed that an AI can make things - MY things - look so much better than i can, i'm not trying to say i'll never be as good as that, that's why you learn new things and get better through practice and i'll surely reach that level in god knows how many years, but i am honestly so disheartened because i realised while drawing is fun, people will maybe never fully appreciate my art because this thing looks just as authentic, and it is so much more beautiful, and if you really had to choose to look at my art vs. what an AI makes out of it, you wouldn't choose mine. i've never really had that feeling of having to compete with AI before, but now it just makes me sad. sry for ranting
