We measure ourselves by the number of likes we get on our facebook posts and I wish it weren't true but it gives us acceptance. It makes us feel important and it lets people know about our endeavors, achievements, feelings, and everything in between. I posted about my new job today and needless to say I tried to make it witty and captivating. It must have worked or people might have pitied me because I received over 100+ likes and I was happy. Sad as it may be there are sadder things in this world. Like the Biebs right now.

Here are my words of gratitude for the day: 1: I am very thankful for another healthy, beautiful day of life full of walking, talking, smelling, seeing, and hearing. 2. i am very lucky and happy that my 11am class was canceled! Woohoo giving me more time to study for my Psych Midterm. 3. I am so thankful that I was able to read almost the entire book of "Why We Love" by today so that I could pass my midterm and hopefully score an A!

4. Thank you God for giving me the chance to take a much needed nap and simply relax and bask in the dreamworld for a bit

5. I am very very happy that Dulce and I have the opportunity to go to Dance Class and do some good ol' roommate bonding. It makes my heart happy. 6. Thank you God for giving me the chance to take this Latin Dance class, it's something I've been wanting to do for a very long time and I am very appreciative of it. 7. Thank you God for that small moment of breakthrough that I encountered late last night. I truly had appreciation for my family and my life and just about everything I've been through with regards to relationships these past 2-3 years.

8. I am grateful to have come to such a strong point of self-worth and determination where I know I am an important individual and I love myself completely. 9. I am grateful for my perfect little who has managed to shower me in gifts and make me love her more than I already could <3

10. Thank you for my friends who have supported me with my fundraiser that will hopefully be a success considering I only have on week. EEEEEEK.

Days of Gratitude

Today was a glorious if not tiring and emotionally exhausting day. Let's begin.

1. I am grateful for the opportunity to have started my very first day of my very first ever JOB today working with children, teaching them to code at an elementary school!

2. I am so thankful to have gotten a free ride to and from campus to the site and back.

3. I am super happy that the job went extremely well, I was worried about how I was going to react around children but I did so well and they were all so precious!

4. I am very thankful that I was able to catch both shuttles this morning and literally JUST made it on the bus to my MUS 2B class. THANK GOD.

5. I am very happy that I got to have a fantastic and much over due dinner with my WITTLE, Neha. She continues to be a very inspiring woman in my life and is chock full of energy, goodness, adventure, and spirit. I am blessed to have her in my life <3

6. Thank you God for giving me the strength to have a bit of flirtatious fun through texting today because it helped lighten my mood for the time being

7. Thank you god for the gracious help I have been receiving on my web site, etsy shop, and facebook page from my lovely site leader and also my hometown friend

8. I am very grateful that I got to "hang out" with my special friend for a small while even though it didn't end as I expected, the tears that followed were not so much because of him.

9. I am very grateful that I am at a point in my life where I have realized my self-worth and can accept me for who I am at least a good 75%.

10. I am super grateful to have such a wonderful family who supports me, cares for me, loves me and is healthy and alive. I couldn't ask for anything else in this world. Thank you god.
