House Imagine: Wilson Unable to Believe You’re House’s Sister

Like Brother Like Sister
You smile easily at Dr.Wilson’s laugh. It was warm. Deep. Kind sounding. It pulls a smile on your face without you even meaning to.
You had sat down at one of the tables, waiting quietly for your brother to come back from the woman he had exclusively dubbed ‘The She-Devil”. Perusing your phone had only entertained you for so long before you had run out of things to do.
That’s when Dr.Wilson came by. He couldn’t help but to ask if he could join you as you were sitting alone and looked bored out of your mind. His charming attitude made you smile, and you allowed him to sit with you.
Since then, the two have you had been chatting for almost forty minutes. Conversation came easy, and Wilson found that he found your personality extremely magnetic.
If anyone had looked your way, it wouldn’t have been hard to believe that you both had been friends for much longer than forty minutes. Maybe you both even look like couple from the way he keeps touching your hand, and the way you kept giggling at his remarks.
You decide you really like this Dr.Wilson.
Wilson decides he really wants to ask you out.
He even opens his mouth to do so when he’s cut off.
“Alright, Sis, Cuddy’s letting me off for the day, you have no idea how much you owe me for that-Wilson?”
Wilson is staring at House in shock.
You tilt your head curiously at Wilson’s stunned expression before continuing the conversation with your brother.
“Why should I owe you anything?”
House is studying Wilson’s face before he turns his attention fully to you.
“Because she’s making me do clinic for an extra 24 hours. You. Owe. Me.”
You roll your eyes. “I owe you nothing. I just want to spend time with my big brother. Is that such a crime?”
House pretends to think. “Hmm..I suppose you’re right. I am pretty awesome, aren’t I?” He turns to Wilson. “See? I told you that people want to hang out with me.”
Wilson finally closes his mouth, which had been hanging in shock. He glances from him to you.
“So…you’re his..sister?”
You nod, eyebrows raised.
Wilson turns to House. “You never told me you had a sister.”
House shrugs. “You never asked.”
Wilson scoffs. “This is a joke, right? You’re not blood related at least?”
House’s eyes sparkle in amusement and mischief. “What are you suggesting there, Jimmy?”
Wilson gestures randomly in the air between you both. “You can’t be! She’s completely different from you!”
House wraps an arm around your shoulders, and you don’t push away, smiling at Wilson’s wide eyes. “Actually, we’re more alike than you think. Why? Is there a problem?” Wilson opens his mouth to retort but House cuts him off again. He looks to you in mock horror. “He hasn’t proposed to you already, has he?”
You giggle at your brother’s antics, glancing at a now flustered Wilson. “Is he prone to proposing to women he only just met?”
Before Wilson can defend himself, House rushes in. “Oh, it’s a terrible habit of his. I’ve been trying hard to kick the habit out of him, you know, as a best friend should, but Wilson is damn stubborn.”
Wilson is positively spluttering now, standing from his seat. House waves him off.
“Relax, Wilson, [Y/N] knows I’m kidding.” He eyes his best friend. “Although, if you are interested in her, you’ll have to talk to me first.”
You elbow your brother, face burning slightly. House grins down at you. “Come on, I don’t wanna be late! You can finish your date with Wilson later.”
He doesn’t give you a chance to say goodbye other than the apologetic wave and smile you shoot Wilson’s way as House drags you out of the hospital.
Wilson sinks down weakly into the seat. Your smile, the way you said certain things, the gleam in your eye…why didn’t he notice it sooner? They were identical to House’s.
His forehead hits the table as he lets out a small groan, causing patients and doctors having lunch around him to cast him wary glances.
Wilson didn’t care. All he could think about were the climbing amount of similarities he’s found between you and House.
And how his stomach flipped every time you smiled his way.
Wilson let out another groan.
