But what you don’t know is that that Coke can is not just blue, it’s not turquoise. It’s not lapis. It’s actually cerulean. And you’re also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Pepsi introduced a product called Pepsi Blue. And then I think it was Mountain Dew… wasn’t it who rolled out Baja Blast? I think we need a blasting here. And then blue hues quickly showed up in the collections of eight different beverage lines. And then it, uh, filtered down through the grocery stores and then trickled on down into some tragic college dormitory vending machine where you, no doubt, used your laundry quarters to purchase it as a mixer.
