me cuz i totally forgot to post this yesterday on the 16th. (it's only 12am where i live but still.) happy 75th birthday catcher in the rye AND holden caulfield!!! technically, holden would be 93 years old today since he was born around 1933. he would've outlived jd salinger.

i miss having my own room. i mean, dont get me wrong, i hated being at my mother's house and all since it was so traumatizing. but the only really good thing was at the end of the day i could go to my own room with all my interests surrounding me. i'm lucky and happy that i was able to move in with my father (who's way better than my mother), but i just miss having my own room since now i have to share it with my grandmother.

another thing about holden caulfield is that you guys seriously cannot believe he’s actually 6 feet fucking tall. his ass is LYING literally every time he talks to someone they’re like “hello little teenage boy what are you doing out in the cold even!”.
