“Technically, it was just one god that brought them here.” Clint begins to say, driving slowly through the horde of people. “I know most people confuse Captain America as a god just because of his physique, I’m not judging or anything, made that mistake myself a few times, but it’s an easy mistake to make.” Clint rambles quietly, ending up parking the car in the middle of the road. “I think we’ll make better progress on foot. Come on.” Clint says, taking his keys out of the ignition before cautiously opening the door.

“Yeah Loki brought them but--” Spencer stumbles on his words slightly as he looks to the crowd rushing around them. “I didn’t mean Cap, he’s one of us, I mean Thor. So there’s like- like there were 2 gods in this before. And Cap- and-- a fucking Hulk for crying out loud. No one missed that news at Quantico.” He was younger but it was till talked about for ages. Everything was. “This is..Alright, let’s go.” The younger doctor was nervous but also excited. He knew they probably didn’t stand a chance, at least he didn’t, but maybe something good would come of it. He followed behind Clint for a moment, weapon ready as the crowd kept clearing. “So... like.. best scenario is it’s an accidental crash? From up there-up there?”

The corner of his lips pulled slightly and he couldn’t help the smaller laugh that escaped through his nose when she joked. “I know some people who would probably love you for that.” He says while putting his phone in his back pocket. “They tend to just cut me off so- feel free to do the same if you’d like to not listen to those next time.” His body turns a bit as he offers her his sweater covered elbow. “..care to wait in a hospital with a stranger for a while?”

He’d recognized the motor, and then having looked out of the corner of his eye, confirmed the car as it had whizzed past. Assuming it was the same vehicle the two were talking about. “Sweet ride, huh?”

“You know they’re named after a type of warship?” He asks back, while giving a small nod to confirm he did indeed mean the older car. “ The namesake of the Corvette finds its origin in Enlightenment Era warships. The first examples of the corvette warship appeared in the 17th century, with a single row of guns, meant to go super fast on the attack.” His info dump stopped and he felt a small smile pulling the corners of his lips again. “.. bet it’s kinda fun to ride in though, yeah.”

After a moment, his things were in his satchel and he returned to the table, bringing his phone down with a ‘Thanks Garcia’ as he did.  “He’s got some other surgeries but you could be put in by tonight or tomorrow?”

Spencer let out a groan as he started to sit up, looking around the floor where he’d...landed? “Where even is here?” The doctor asks in a voice that sounded half asleep while rubbing his head, trying to get his boundaries. Nothing looked familiar in any sense of the way. It almost looked other worldly.

Of course he did the digging to be sure she wasn’t who he thought she was. “I don’t know I wasn’t really awake when all went down.. but my guess is a big fat nope” she hissed given the quick pain feeling

“...would you like company to a better doctor?” Spencer asked, his eyes glancing back to his starting table to make sure his things were still there before looking back to her. “I just gotta gather my things and I can have Garcia find you someone who can actually do the job. if it’s popping open all the time you have a high risk for infection and...well infection related death, and something tells me you don’t want to have to escape death twice..”
