Autumn is almost here. Today, I’ll be showing you my own healing time with Chrysanthemum, a cup of tea and watercolor painting.
The summer is almost gone and fall is right around the corner. So, I’ll be drawing autumn trees with watercolors today.

The key to painting cherry blossom is to make them look floaty. I will do that by painting with light brushstrokes in purple like Crimson Lake or Rose Mother, mixed with lots of water. But the painting might look too hazy if I use only the light colors, so the inner parts of the petals should be slightly painted with vivid and deep colors. Then I can finish a beautiful painting where the dark and light parts of the flower contrast each other.
Today, I’ll be drawing flowers with watercolors. It is easy enough to follow, so please enjoy the video and let’s try it out together!
Today, I’ll be painting a lovely puppy. I’ll focus on bringing out it’s eyes and expressing it’s fur. I hope you enjoy this video~!!!
Today I’ll be drawing an olive branch. I find the contrast of the black olives and the green leaves to be stunning.
It’s easy for these types of pictures to end up looking boring, so I’ll focus on using the saturation of the colors to avoid this issue. Overall, the olives should be painted with a thick coat, while the leaves should be painted with a lighter coat.
For the olives, I’ll be using Violet, Ultramarine Deep, and VanDyke Brown to start. I’ll work on the darkest parts first, then add water to the paint for the remaining parts. I’ll use some green for the darker parts of the olives to harmonize with the leaves. For the leaves, I’ll be using Olive Green and Sap Green as the base color, and then add a heavier coat for the shadows and thicker parts. Lastly, I’ll emphasize a bit more than usual, the parts where the olives meet the leaves and also, where the leaves are touching. This will help balance the painting.

Today I’ll be drawing a Red Rose. Sketching looks a bit complex, but painting is not difficult as you think. In this picture, I’ll focus on the concentration of the paints. I can use the contrast of the concentration to make the painting more dramatic, even I use limited colors. In terms of the details, I’ll also focus on just one part, the center of the rose to add another drama.
One tip for today’s painting is using different brushes for each part. For the center petals, I’ll be using synthetic liner brush to depict the intricate details. For the outer petals, I’ll be using lage natural fur brush which holds water well. Choosing the right-sized brushes can greatly facilitate the watercolor painting process.
I’ll be drawing a cluster of blueberries ripening on a branch. Can you see the colors of the blueberries changing from a greenish hue to a vivid blue? I’ll be painting the leaves and branches using a similar shade as the unripe berries. This will bring out the beautiful, ripe, blueberries.

I’ll be talking about the easiest way of sketching for watercolor painting! Anyone can do this!!!
