So I have come to realize that this weekend will be my last Summer festival I play in my thirties.  My glam team thinks I should celebrate this while I am performing this weekend at the Hollywood Fame Music Festival.  If you were going to celebrate this achievement how would you make sure it was a memorable one for you and also the fans who are in the audience?

That is rather exciting. Why not celebrate this when you can do so? I don’t know why but the first thing that comes to mind to make it memorable would maybe wear something memorable.

it definitely does, but hey, when you’re a bit of a workaholic, nothing really seems to matter. i’m honoured to be that person. i’m rather introverted for the most part, but if i’m in the right mood i’m all in for hang outs with friends and new faces. mostly me and my guitar are fine by me.

That is true. Especially if it is work that you enjoy since that whole love what you do and it doesn’t feel like work saying. I know what you mean because I feel the same way. I can do all of that extroverted stuff until the battery runs out and then I just want to do all of the introverted stuff.

It’s like craving certain foods all the time, and even though you fulfill that - it’s still going to be there. I am itching to go on vacation, and I’m halfway convincing my friend since we went on one two months ago exactly. Mixing business and pleasure isn’t too bad, but I wish that happened more often! You should do it, especially when the summer’s almost over. 

You know I have never heard anyone explain it in that way but that explains the feeling perfectly. If you’re able to make it a business vacation that is much better since you can say it’s for business purposes while most of the time you’re having fun. I’ll have to look into something before summer is over.

so i had a little self-tape audition about two weeks ago, and i am nervous. i don’t know if i’m more nervous about not getting part  ( again - you know, it happens ) or getting the part because i’m just having war flashbacks to my not-so-great acting debut where i froze up during my first scene and somebody else had to tell me my lines. i also threw up after it, but i didn’t tell anyone, looking like a mannequin in front of a crowd was just enough embarrassment for the day. also my cat has just discovered my brand new rug and managed to yank about twenty strings of it out, so if anyone needs a new cat… i’m kidding, but the gremlin is currently in time-out so that’s that. enough about my unfortunate endeavors, what’s up with you? anything new, excited… terrifying? @hfrpstarters​

It doesn’t matter if you’ve done one audition self-taped or however else or a thousand I feel like everyone gets an uneasy nervous feeling. No matter who you are and all that. I would like to say there is something new and exciting but just enjoying the summer and chilling while I can.

i mean, imagine singing like 20 songs every day or two, without much of a break. it really strains your voice, plus, all the traveling.. the jetlag is so fucking real. now, i think you have my favourite way to unwind so far. i’m an introverted hermit most days, so i don’t care for people and i hide in my LA apartment.

I’m sure all of it combined takes a toll. Finally someone that appreciates my way of taking the time to unwind. Sometimes it is just easier to keep to yourself since then you don’t really have to worry about anything else.

i’m currently still trying to recover from tour and it’s been five days, i managed to sell new shirts for my brand hii-def and they sold out in like an hour and i even packaged those bad boys myself in the warehouse. now, share with your new favourite musician and member of waterparks, what do you do to unwind after doing a lot work wise? also this is more of a break from tour, not an end yet. we’re touring more at the end of august doing shows with my chemical romance and then we have some september shows with blackbear. // @hfrpstarters​

Touring sounds like quite an intense time since everyone seems to say the same thing about recovering by the time it’s the end. My favorite way to unwind would be to just sink back into my own personal bubble where no one can or would bother me and just do my own thing.

               It is. I’m not one to hide my love for Lay’s potato chips. Although one other thing you may learn about me from my social media is that I have a cat named Mozart who I love. Before you ask, yes, I’m a cat person. Though I have owned dogs in the past. I have to be honest, I have not tried one before but it already sounds like it would be delicious. So I’m thinking I’ll have to give it a try one of these days for sure.

The two most important things to learn about a person to be honest. Someones favorite snack and whether they are a cat or dog person says a lot about a person. I’m slightly disappointed that you haven’t tried one before and with that being said you should most definitely try it sometime.

It sucks, like I know we have to work and everything. Thank you, though. So, have you been on vacation lately or wanting to go somewhere? 

That’s the thing about traveling. The more places you go and see the more you are going to want to continue. The one plus side is when working and traveling is combined. I haven’t been on vacation lately but since you’ve mentioned it it’s definitely been on my mind a lot more.

               Probably one of the first things someone will learn about me by searching through my Instagram and TikTok is my love for Lay’s potato chips, especially the original flavor. What can I say? I love them to the point where I was lucky enough to receive a Lay’s gift basket from the company themselves delivered to the Al Hirschfeld Theater. Complete with - you guessed it - Lay’s potato chips and even a robe. Then my boyfriend bought me chocolate covered potato chips for my birthday. So now that you know about mine, what would you say is your favorite comfort food or just favorite food in general? I am all ears.

Would that really be one of the first things someone would learn about you? Now i’m kind of curious as if that is actually true. I’m going to be honest the first thing that came to mind is the popular Mardi Gras dessert king cake. Though it is not at all in the Marvel diet it is a must need.

i wonder when exactly things are going to work out for me. don’t get me wrong — i have a nice life and everything, but my professional life has been a mess since the world cup 2012. i never know where the fuck i’m going to play and whenever i end up playing, i’m not happy and i just keep being miserable for the rest of the season or whatever. maybe i should go find another job, i’m getting tired, let me tell you. tell me what’s been going on in your life, all the news, tell me every detail of it. @hfrpstarters​

It’s completely understandable to feel that way especially under those circumstances. If it no longer brings you happiness and instead miserable maybe that search may be the best thing. This is probably where i’d say something really cool though I don’t quite have anything to share at the moment.

Ever since I came back home from the Maldives last month, I’ve been itching to go on vacation.. again. It’s such a dream to visit other countries, and enjoy having no responsibilities. Is it selfish of me to want to be away from home because I just got out of a fresh relationship and leave my dog, Maverick with a friend? I don’t know, I mean, I could bring him. The time when you come home is always when you are itching to go back or on another vacation I feel. Though it may be because that is when you are brought back to reality and all the responsibilities come back all at once. So i’m gonna have to say no not at all selfish for wanting to go on another vacation.

There is also this very scary like walk threw one in Japan that was so bad kids didnt go on it. Like how did Disney get away with all of this?  There is just so many crazy theme park things that’s happened over the years.

Oh really? Why have I never heard of these things before. I feel like I’m missing out on so much. There are so many things that Disney gets away with that no one really questions.
