This is the last post regarding Orihime that I’m going to make about the Hueco Mundo arc. This post will center on the things that drag Orihime (and to a lesser extent, Ichigo) down in this arc, both on the ones that weren’t addressed in the other posts and the ones that have to do with Kubo pushing a ship. I understand any hesitation to read something that so heavily discusses Ichiruki and Ichihime; however, I’ll ask you to bear with me and hear me out. 

This post is long as hell, so to those who are on mobile, please accept this apology.

One year on and they’re STILL ignoring your canon ship. No merch, no covers, no couple honeymoon spread art by Kubo, no poems.  Rukia Kuchiki. The person who changed Ichigo’s life, also had an effect on his family, and was adopted into the fold of their lives like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Lmfao "Ichigo's confession was so heart-wrenching and pure" he literally just said "could you make some time for me" it's no different than "got 5 mins to talk". Such love, much romance, he must've stayed up all night thinking of just the right words to convey the depth of his feelings, Kubo is such a brilliant writer, encapsulating such powerful emotions in such a pedestrian phrase. But of course, IRs are the delusional ones

Kubo wanted absolutely nothing to do with “We Do Knot Always Love You”; Matsubara had to beg him for artwork, and all we got were those half-assed sketches. And regardless of how Ichigo’s “confession” has been translated, it’s always been lackluster, far from “heart-wrenching and pure”. But, yes, as you said, we, the IchiRuki fandom, are totally the delusional ones! xD

And its a fact he KNEW she liked him, it’s confirmed apparently in We Do Knot Always Love You (Renji says “Haven’t you kept her waiting long enough”, and Ichigo says “I know”)

So, Ichigo knew she liked him and still did this;

LETS NOT FORGET all he cared about was her failure of a shield –

So, Ichigo canonly knew her feelings and still mistreated her?

The IH ending wasn’t planned, it was crammed because god knows what reason. The statements made makes the retcons look even more obvious and also depreciates Ichihime even more than it already was.

There is zero excuse for orihime not to follow her dreams. If I recall correctly a certain someone raised three kids all by himself while working at a clinic. So why cant a certain dead eyed strawberry work and care for mistake #2 while mistake #1 follows her dreams and goes to school, they only have one turd spawn not three. Plus yuzu the incest lover is there to help care for kazoo to. If isshin can raise three kids alone why can't ichigo raise one while mistake #1 goes to school. Zero excuses

Maybe its the last time, but im sure you will move on and accept the ending. Its okay you hate IH and RR, but please DON'T HATE ichika and Kazui. They are so innocent , pure and cute. Does kubo said he already intend the ending since the beginning and wanted to see Ichigo child and Rukia child meet each other ? Even many latin-american IR also love Ichika because she look like Rukia so much. Even many ISH also love Kazui because he has cute face (like his mother toh)

Ichika and Kazui is the most cutest next-gen , unlike Boruto and the others from Naruto or Gohan and Goten fron Dragon ball. Im sure Ichika also a child-prodigy like hitsugaya due she become shinigami in VERY young age, and also Kazui also VERY strong in his young age due he able to defeat Yhwach reiatsu (I think Orihime godly power also influence on him hehehe). So sad, not all of you love them :( They are not brat, they are innocent kids. So please, move on and love them :)

Listen, I will hate, despise, abhor whatever characters I please. It’s not even because of whose children they are. On their own, they are just plot fodder. The significance they're supposed to hold in the end fell flat. They are uninteresting, at least in the positive sense, and there is nothing to grab onto with them. They are literally a plethora of questions.

Ichika? She a child soldier. With the time line we have been given, Ichika is probably barely 8. She was born some time three years after the end of the series so she can’t be older than 7 or 8. She was thrown into the academy between her birth and the nakama reunion. Looking at that gap, you really think her being a shinigami apprentice is a GOOD thing? There is nothing good about robbing a child of a childhood so she can become a tiny warrior. And it hardly seems like she was given the choice. If anything, she’s not much like Rukia and more like Renji, a little wreckless if she’s running off and pointing her sword at people she meets.

Kazui? So because his parents are powerful, let’s just have an unoriginal mini fusion of them and let him wander about and go full shinigami when he pleases. Well, let’s hope at least Kazui can use his mother’s powers right. There isn’t much that can be said for him. Kazui absorbing Yhwach was the most anti-climactic thing I have ever witnessed. He’s more like his mother than anything else.

These two are not original and they’re hardly the better next-gen kids compared to other manga. Cutest? That’s what your favoritism is based on? Not plot importance right? Kay.

I’m very well aware other IRs don’t hate them. Does that mean I’m supposed to force myself to enjoy them as well? I don’t care what IR like’s Ichika. I don’t care what IsH likes Kazui. Do you see me going off on their posts or their inboxes? Matter-of-fact, do you see any IRs going off on other IR’s for liking the kids? I certainly haven’t and I’m pretty sure I’m more invested in my own ships. So please take a page out of our books and stop policing how to feel about certain characters. I don’t give a flying fuck if they're “cute”.
