                          clary  wanted  to  believe  it  was  just  an  accident  ,  but  with  her  knowledge  of  the  shadow  world  she  knew  it  was  probably  not.  ‘  hopefully  ,  did  they  say  how  it  happened?  ‘  clary  asked  not  remembering  what  the  news  said  exactly.  she  was  gonna go  snooping  around  later  ,  she  had  to  make  sure  if  wasnt  a  demon.  just  because  she  was  in  twin  rivers  didnt  stop  her  from  being  a  shadowhunter.

𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚  𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬  𝐡𝐞𝐫  𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝  ,  eyes  trained  to  the  ground  .  “  i  don’t  think  so  .  it  sounded  pretty  ambiguous  when  i  read  about  it  in  the  paper  this  morning  .  ”  and  while  no  news  could  sometimes  allude  to  good  news  ,  bella  knew  that  didn’t  seem  to  be  the  case  here  .  she  could  only  hope  the  culprit  wasn’t  one  of  the  ghosts  of  her  past  that  had  come  back  to  haunt  her  .  “  do  you  think  the  police  would  try  to  cover  something  up  ?  ”

          shipment  days  at  serena’s  boutique  are  always  one  of  faye’s  favorite  occasions.  the  witch  doesn’t  typically  like  to  do  actual  work,  but  it  helps  that  what  they  do  on  these  nights  is  hardly  considered  working.  actually,  the  hardest  part  is  having  to  take  the  new  clothing  out  of  a  box.  a  task  that  the  brunette  would  be  doing  anyways  if  she  ordered  online  instead  of  shopping  here  exclusively.  her  gaze  travels  from  the  box  she  was  rummaging  through  to  serena  as  she  exits  the  dressing  room.  "definitely  your  color,“  she  says  approvingly.  "and  a  vast  improvement  from  the  mauve  one  before.”  lifting  up  a  flaming  scarlet  piece,  faye’s  lips  spread  into  a  pleased  smile.  she’s  never  been  more  happy  for  the  death  of  neon  and  comeback  of  a  classic.  "what  about  this  one?  doesn’t  it  just  scream  me?“

He was glad to be spending time with someone since he’s been so cooped up at the clinic, or his apartment due to the curfew. The brunette always liked sweet things, it just dulled a bit after becoming a werewolf since his taste buds became different. “How about both? Why should we be limited to one of the two?”

At the sound of someone else’s voice, Simon blushed hard, not expecting anyone to see the grimace that he had made because of his coffee. His ears turned a dark red, burning hot with embarrassment. “It’s not the greatest,” Simon admitted sheepishly, motioning to his iced coffee. “Did you get it iced? Maybe hot isn’t so bad.”

𝐚𝐭  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝  𝐨𝐟  𝐡𝐞𝐫  𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞  ,  jules  leans  forward  to  collect  her  drink  from  the  counter  before  turning  back  to  him  .  “  no  , it’s  iced  .  i  can’t  drink  hot  coffee  when  it’s  warm  out  .  .  .    but  i  do  like  to  doctor  it  up  with  a  lot  of  sugar  ,  so  maybe  that  will  help  ?  ”  she  pops  the  lid  off  swiftly  ,  setting  the  cup on  the  table  so  she  can  begin  to  add  her  cream  and  sugar  .  “  i  don’t  know  if  you  like  tea  ,  but  this  place  makes  a  really  mean  matcha  latte  .  kinda  makes  up  for  the  shitty  coffee  .  ”

               Sirius  had  to  admit,  she  seemed  rather  unfazed  by  seeing  a  dog  transform  into  a  man,  and  it  confused  him.  Was  she  not  a  muggle?  The  golden  hue  to  her  eyes  made  it  seem  as  though  she  wasn’t,  but  he’d  also  never  seen  anything  or  anyone  with  eyes  like  that.  “  Well,  that  complicates  things  then,  doesn’t  it?  ”  He  couldn’t  help  but  smirk  as  he  crossed  his  own  arms  over  his  chest.  What  the  Ministry  didn’t  know  couldn’t  hurt  him,  right?  “  Not  a  wolf,  no.  Just  a  dog.  A  rather  average  sized  dog.  ”

𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐡𝐞𝐫  𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭  𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧  ,  bella  allows  her  shoulders  to  shrug  as  her  lips  twist  into  a  tight  -  lipped  smile  .  “  maybe  .  i’m  very  interested  in  what  kind  of  excuse  you  were  going  to  give  me  ,  though  .  ”  at  this  point  in  her  life  ,  bella  had  pretty  much  heard  them  all  .  only  ,  she  hadn’t  heard  of  any  shape  shifters  who  could  shift  into  anything  other  than  a  wolf  ,  so  this  was  somewhat  new  to  her  .  “  i  just  assumed  wolf  because  .  .  .  well  ,  let’s  just  say  you’re  not  the  first  shape  shifter  i’ve  ever  encountered  .  ”

               Hearing  her  full  name  caused  her  to  quickly  turn  and  face  the  woman.  She  always  favored  her  nickname,  Nessie,  simply  due  to  the  fact  that  she  was  sick  of  all  the  comments  about  how  ‘  unique  ’  her  name  was.  Because  of  this,  she  never  introduced  herself  as  Renesmee,  and  she’d  only  told  a  select  few  people  in  Twinrivers  her  full  name.  Even  if  the  woman  standing  in  front  of  her  knew  her  nickname,  people  usually  assumed  that  Nessie  was  short  for  something  like  Vanessa,  never  Renesmee.  “  How  do  you  know  my  name?  ”  She  asked,  brow  furrowed  together.  She  sensed  some  kind  of  familiarity  surrounding  the  woman,  but  she  couldn’t  place  it.

           “that’d  be  lovely,”  tessa  beams  as  she  crouches  back  down.  flowers,  especially  daisies,  were  bound  to  brighten  up  her  dreary  apartment.  her  eyes  thoughtfully  search  the  patch  for  flowers  in  full  bloom  to  pick.  "do  you  have  a  favorite?”  glancing  over  to  bella  before  jutting  her  chin  towards  the  other  patches  down  the  way.  various  shades  of  wildflowers  spread  amongst  the  grass.  maybe  we  can  find  it  so  you  can  take  home  a  bouquet  too.“

𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧  𝐚  𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫  𝐨𝐟  𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬  ,  bella  has  joined  tessa  in  the  grass  .  “  i  quite  like  those  poppies  .  ”  she  admits  as  her  fingers  delicately  pluck  a  daisy  from  its  root  ,  adding  it  to  the  small  bundle  she’d  already  collected  in  her  hand  .  “  they  have  such  a  .  .  .  fresh  scent  ,  y’know  ?  i  wish  i  could  just  bottle  that  smell  and  have  it  forever  .  ”  not  to  mention  ,  they  proved  to  be  more  than  helpful  in  masking  the  rather  alluring  scent  of  human  blood  .  “  there’s  nothing  better  than  coming  home  to  a  house  that  smells  like  fresh  flowers  .  ”

              It  had  been  a  long  night  full  of  regulars  at  the  bar,  and  she  was  honestly  ready  to  get  out  of  there  and  get  off  her  feet.  She’d  made  some  decent  money,  but  she  was  glad  that  the  night  was  finally  over.  Or  at  least,  she  thought  it  was,  but  it  was  still  five  minutes  until  they  closed  and  she  heard  the  unmistakable  sound  of  the  door  opening.  “  Hey,  just  so  you  know,  kitchen’s  already  closed.  We’re  closing  up.  ”  She  said,  not  even  bothering  to  turn  and  look  at  the  person  as  she  wiped  down  a  table.  “  Besides,  isn’t  there  a  curfew  or  something?  ”

𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥  𝐟𝐨𝐫  𝐭𝐡𝐞  𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬  ,  bella  is  out  for  her  nightly  walk  around  town  ,  one  of  the  only  times  she  can  walk  around  freely  .  unlike  forks  ,  twin  rivers  had  quite  a  few  sunny  days  ,  which  is  why  bella  has  grown  to  love  the  nights  even  more  since  she’s  become  a  resident  .  as  she  passes  siren’s  bar  ,  her  eyes  catch  sight  of  a  strikingly  familiar  figure  in  the  window  ,  causing  her  to  stop  in  her  tracks  .  it  only  takes  a  few  seconds  for  her  to  rush  inside  ,  the  door  closing  swiftly  behind  her  as  she  steps  forward  hesitantly  .  “  renesmee  ?  ”

               Sirius  had  rarely  gotten  into  his  animagus  form  since  arriving  in  Twinrivers,  and  he  honestly  missed  the  freedom  that  came  with  running  around  as  a  large,  black  dog.  So,  one  morning,  he  decided  to  run  to  the  forest  located  in  the  outskirts,  just  letting  his  animal  side  take  over.  What  he  hadn’t  accounted  for,  however,  was  that  someone  else  might  be  there  as  well,  and  that  person  might  have  just  seen  him  shift  from  dog  to  man.  Eyes  wide,  he  tried  his  hardest  to  come  up  with  an  excuse,  but  he  was  blanking.  “  Exactly  how  much  of  that  did  you  see?  ”
