(Zestychille) First song recorded on the guitar I built with my father. We hadn’t really seen each other in a while, when I came to him with the idea of a project. We had a few project ideas that we put on the back burner over the last few years. But this one stuck. It ain’t perfect, but damn I like the way it sounds. The bridge pickup has a lot of kick to it, and the neck sounds buttery smooth, just the way we wanted them. The sound is spot on, even if the bigsby and tuning machines need some work. Will have to fix those up when we take it apart to add a finish to the wood.(tung oil, hand applied in light coats with a cloth, and sanded with 1000+ grit to smooth in between coats) Album art is Kito chasing Vespertine in a field. He’s putting on his tough dog face that he does when he’s super into playing.
