Warrior Season 2

I just came on here to say that Toji (Zenin-) Fushiguro is an entire menace! This man made Gojo and Geto flip perspectives into the people we know them to be now. That man referred to himself as a ‘monkey’ because he didn’t have any cursed energy, yet he was considerably stronger than Geto and Gojo before he met his demise…
It’s just incredible that one man could do all of that and still go out in his terms (lowkey). All in all, Toji (Zenin-)Fushiguro is that guy whether you like it or not… It is what it is 😂
P.S. - I admire how much Megumi looks and sound just like his father 😂

Wtf! Warrior is back on and I haven’t seen a thing about it all day!
My crazy ass was making entries in my notes app while watching the bear season two. And after going through it, these are my major takeaways:
1. First of all, I really love how Sydney and carmy had the idea to send some of the staff to places to learn and get better. I loved Marcus in Copenhagen which was a great well deserved opportunity for him- putting him and Luca (will poulter) on my screen at the same time was really criminal. Tina flourished at the class they sent her to as she should and I love how this season has been an everybody loves Tina season she deserves it- we should really get a Tina episode in season 3 even if she has no sad backstory anything the show could always use some more happy. I also like how they showed that Ebra had anxiety about change because that’s honestly what you expect from people especially older people who have been doing things a certain way for a long time like Richie and Ebra. I just think it was nice of the writers to show that Tina being so ready to learn and change isn’t the usual thing, the anxiety is normal and okay though because despite it Ebra and Richie could still face it and do great. Richie’s time at the three star restaurant was my favorite of all the learning experiences though. He needed it the most and it had a great impact on him. He really improved- he learnt, he was more motivated and driven and most importantly he found what he could do for the restaurant and where he fit and that’s why he could see where he was wrong and apologize to Natalie. The scenes in the restaurant were also just so beautiful and enlightening on what goes on and goes into places like that. I love how we actually learn about restaurants from this show in the coolest scenes. I feel like i learnt so much and gained so much admiration for restaurant staff.
2. Now let’s talk Marcus. I love him so so much and he was so passionate and cute this season like I just wanted to hug him. He is also phenomenal at what he does- I always felt that well but I feel it even more now learning that he hasn’t even been doing it for that long and just started learning it cause he needed a job. The way he tore through the cookbooks Sydney gave him and just how eager he is to learn show how passionate he is. I also felt bad for him with his mum being sick (they also had no right to make that the first scene omg), he must have struggling with his mum being sick even in season one. Maybe her medical bills even had an impact on how he ended up homeless one time, that’s so sad. And with the ending she’s probably dead now which is so sad because he seemed happy after opening Luca’s present and a good first night especially.
BUT (and it’s a big but unfortunately) I cannot look past that blow up at Sydney. I saw someone say it was giving incel and I agree. It wasn’t just the normal kitchen blow up from stress cause they all do that someone’s always screaming about something. It was a big Whitney explosion from a man to a woman he feels has rejected him. It was shitty. It didn’t feel like Marcus or maybe it shows that he’s not mature cause that was also childish af. But if this isn’t the biggest sign that they can’t turn romantic I don’t know what is. I don’t even think Sydney was ignoring him (even if she was mad why would she ignore him during service ???) I think she was backed up and was going to answer him soon. I even remember her saying okay after he spoke to her one time and trying to figure out some other pending shit first. So Marcus can suck it for that.
To even talk about whether Sydney really even rejected him- I think Marcus was definitely asking her out and I think Sydney panicked (she’s awkward of course she did) because she’s never looked at him like that clearly. They can make Marcus like her sure maybe a little passing crush whatever but they shouldn’t force it to be romantic and I hope they can come out as friends still. With Marcus’ mum probably passing I think he’ll probably have other things on his mind besides his crush but the whole kitchen saw him blow up at her and heard what he said so I wonder if anyone will get involved like carmy or Tina.
I honestly want to see where the writers will take their relationship from here. I hope not romantic, maybe only enough to knock carmys blockhead a little and make him jealous. I say this not because I ship chef’s kiss but because they genuinely make no sense. Black love is great but nowt when you’re forcing the relationship just to have black love abeg.
3. Now, I think I have an unpopular opinion about Claire so don’t fight me now cause I know how you bitches like to tussle (tik tok sound)- I don’t think Claire was a cardboard cut out a person like I’ve seen some people say ( maybe when I rewatch it I’ll feel differently). I know that her main purpose to the story was just her relationship with carmy and their relationship wasn’t exactly passionate fire. It was clear that Carmy just tried to find amusement outside being a chef and have a relationship for the first time after Claire insisted by getting his real number. It was also confirmed by his panic attack that he associates Claire with his toxic childhood and Sydney is the present and his peace(thoughts of her even when they had just met stopped his bloody panic attack for Gods sake) I also think carmy didn’t give her his real number because he was afraid of a relationship and outside amusement especially with someone from his childhood.
But I’ve seen a lot of discourse on her character being bland and nothing but I think she was nice and actually good for carmy. I think he needed to experience that and she also really knew what to say to him at times ( the whole waiting for the other shoe to drop scene in his apartment) I do think Claire had a personality, I think she was kind of funny and interesting especially her job as an emergency doctor and her supposed obsession with thrills ( from what she says) yes she wasn’t explored that much but I don’t think bland bland. They definitely presented her in this halo of the perfect girlfriend that he’s loved for years (eye roll) I just don’t think it’s fair to confuse the blandness of their relationship for Claire being bland.
Regardless, I think her and carmy should not be end game not just because I’m a chef’s kiss shipper but I still feel really bad for her for what she heard carmy say, that was very shitty (Sydney and carmy have me saying shitty a lot) yes it was carmy thinking that he doesn’t deserve amusement and love which is so wrong and so sad but what she also heard is the boy she’s had a crush on for years and that she said she loves (she insisted to have his number she was clearly very interested) say a relationship with her was a waste of time. That sucks. Richie did have a point about carmy not being able to let good things happen for him. We’ll see where carmy and Claire go from here but I definitely don’t want them to be end game at all.
I don’t want this to be so long so I’m going to do a part two.
The Flash
Currently watching the end credit scenes of the Flash and definitely enjoyed it. I wish that it was leaning more towards an origin story because I would’ve loved to see Eobard Thawne show up.
Spoiler: Seeing Tim Burton’s version of Superman aka Nicholas Cage was extremely surprising! And the AI on Christopher Reeves looked very interesting in my opinion.
Lastly, I just have to say that Kara Zor-El does not play about her baby cousin 😂.
7.4/10
Spider-Man: Across the Spider Verse
The love, dedication, and thought put into this movie is another amazing feat to mention. But the ending had me all kinds of missed up 😂. All and all the movie was extremely tense compared to its predecessor but of course it had impeccable moments of laughter befitting of a true Spider-Man.
10/10
P.S. - the soundtrack is 🔥 and I have full faith that it’ll when the Oscar again next year!
Now why the fuck is Lizzo in The Mandalorian???? 😂
THE MANDALORIAN (2019-) #03.E1: Chapter 17
kathleen saying she doesn’t give a fuck about a kid dying and then getting killed by an infected child. oh i know that’s right. deserved AND poetic, goodbye.
The funniest part of the "your teacher dies in every possible ending" copypasta btw is that it doesn't really sell how generic the fucking Wizard game is plot wise on that front.
Like, we have two major spoilers, Rockwood curses Anne and blamed the Goblins for it, and Professor Fig dies regardless of ending. You'd expect therefore two very simple things from this reveals:
1) That this would lead to the classic mid story twist that the "oppressed minority doing terrorism was actually being manipulated the whole time and you the white saviour help them after realising they aren't so bad."
And 2) That the game has multiple endings that are shaped by your actions in the story, despite how in all of them your mentor dies (probably for different reasons each time).
This is however not fucking the case lol.
Because guess what.
Hogwarts Legacy has only two endings.
There is the "Good" ending, where you decide to keep the status quo as is and prevent systematic change, and a "Bad" ending where you "free the ancient magic" and change the status quo, but then promise to work to set ip up back as it was before.
NOTHING you do in the game changes this. Every decision, spell choice, side quest, NOTHING influences these endings. There is no Karma Meter, or checklist of decisions to have to pick the best possible ending ala Witcher, nothing, you are given ONE decision right at the end of the game, between breaking the status quo (bad) or keeping it as is (good) and that's the extent of player choice on what ending you get.
TWO ENDINGS.
ALL BASED ON YOUR FINAL CHOICE.
MASS EFFECT 3, INFAMOUS FOR DOING THIS VERY SAME SHIT, HAD THREE.
And after you have this choice, your mentor dies, and you fight the evil goblin leader who is evil because he was once the victim of a violent hate crime so now he sides with Wizard N*zis and wants to genocide all wizards, and who is, yes, the main villain of the game, not the guy who cursed the girl, nope, we're still murdering an evil minority rebellion leader with a large hooked nose as he's being powered by the status quo breaking "Ancient Magic" the hero is treated like a villain for if he decides to "share with the world."
And then there's a generic eulogy for mentor followed by the house cup being won by your fucking house as a "true" ending, which happens regardless of what choice you pick, and that is a "post credit scene" ending after finishing all collectibles and side quests, just to give the illusion of having 3 endings.
This game is shallow and mediocre beyond belief yet we have people fucking frothing at the mouth for being told they shouldn't fucking play the mid wizard game. You have streamers crying at the gentlest fucking pushback, people going "I can excuse transphobia and anti semitism but I draw the line at spoilers," for one of the most soulless, generic pieces of videogame media of this year.
"Boycotts don't work if the product is good just look at chick fill a" the product isn't fucking good the product is mid the product has an extremely shit plot baked in anti semitism and with boring "twists" and even if it was the fucking masterpiece some of those people claim it is have a minimum of moral fucking backbone and if you can't help yourself PLAY OR EAT SOMETHING ELSE.
IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING HARD.
I was finally able to watch The Last of Us yesterday and I definitely should’ve watched it when it came out! I love how some of the scenes look identical to the game; that was awesome to see!
