The Four Comandments
Now you’re mine.
Favorite Furi Bossfight: The Burst
“Now draw your blade, and catch this fade”
Dr Seuss: ‘Maybe Christmas,’ he thought, ‘doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas … perhaps … means a little bit more!’
Illumination:
Then they got an idea! An awful idea! THE BRANDS GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA! All the marketers thought, “Why should tickets suffice? With the Grinch selling knick-knacks, why, we’ll be paid twice!”
Forget all the morals! There’s cash to be made. From frosting to forklifts to Grinch Gatorade! Just slap his face on there and tint it with green And prepare for profits, yes, profits obscene!
From a seasonal, festival holiday grump, The Grinch had been played for a capital chump. “No more! Won’t you forget these trinkets?” he pleads. “Christmas isn’t junk! It’s your bonds and your deeds.”
For a moment, they paused. Was there more to this day Than products and placements and big bonus pay? The PR men sniffed and they shrugged and they sighed. Then they threw him some cash and they went back inside.

K/DA took Runeterra by a storm last month with the release of their hit single POP/STAR, launching the lovely ladies - Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’sa - into the brightest limelight of the year. We’re all looking forward to hearing more from K/DA; but while POP/STAR might have gone viral in the music industry, Runeterra’s fashionistas spotted a real gem hidden in the background of the group’s most recent concerts.
With a flash of golden feathers and a silhouette to make all men - and even some women - jealous, Rakan steals the show from his fellow backup dancers. He’s not a new face in the industry, but his performances with K/DA has captivated audiences all over the internet. With tight choreography - and his stunningly fiery chemistry with all four of the girls - Rakan stands out from the crowd.
We at Velocity are thrilled to say that we were approved by the studio for an exclusive interview with the potentially rising star. We spent 20 minutes backstage with Rakan, and here’s the uncut transcripts of what he had to say.

Millennials are less well off than members of earlier generations when they were young. They have lower earnings, fewer assets and less weal
@alsohunter: “the poor are killing industries by not having money” is a very creative way to avoid saying it’s actually the rich who are killing industries by hoarding wealth and privatizing everything

We all know what erectile dysfunction is but literally no one is ever taught what vaginismus is and it can cause people to feel extremely lost, broken, and cause people to take their own lives. Raise. Awareness.
For the uninformed, vaginismus is when the vagina painfully tightens and spasms when faced with pressure, usually from anything trying to insert into the vagina. It’s the reason I can’t wear tampons, and why many people can’t have vaginal sex without severe pain.
There’s not a lot of treatments, and there isn’t a single one that is for vaginismus exclusively - they’re all medications or treatments to treat symptoms, but not the causes. In fact, for a long time doctors waved off vaginismus as a purely psychological disorder in cis women.
Seriously, this is so unaddressed and uncared for in medical circles. Please spread awareness, even if all it’s for is to let those who have it but don’t have a name for it finally be able to understand what’s happening to their bodies.
I’ve never even heard of this??
Me neither. :(
Thank you for sharing bc I think I might actually have this but I thought it was just me. I can barely handle so much as a tampon. Will have to bring this up at my next doctor’s appointment.
So, there is a website dedicated to vaginismus which I suffered from for years and had no idea how to talk about it. I found this website ten or twelve years ago and bought some of their products which helped immensely. I know nothing about the medications, but the dilator set is probably the best you can do because it is a way to help widen the vagina on your own terms. I still have mine even though I haven’t needed it for years because it could come back later.
One thing I appreciated about this website is that it emphasized that this is not your fault. Another thing I learned was that one cause could just be, you know, being part of a culture that gives women extreme anxiety about sex. This resource helped me when I was a lot younger and terrified that I was broken.
Anyways, here’s the website. Please share it with everyone you know: x

Fecking preach. Especially because over half the crap in that hour was idiotic.

Patient: Don’t confuse the 1-hour lecture you had on my condition with my 20y of living with it.”]
If your child’s grades are dropping
DO NOT:
Yell at them for three hours
Take away their devices and look through them
Make them sit in their rooms in silent and do their homework alone
Side with the teacher and not get your child’s side of the story
Tell them that their grades are the most important thing they should worry about
INSTEAD:
Ask if they’re having trouble with other students or teachers
Sit down with them and help them with what they don’t understand
Speak calmly instead of yelling
Don’t invade their privacy by looking through their devices
Don’t take away their hobbies as punishment
Never make them feel unsafe or unable to trust you
This has been a message from a struggling high school junior that wishes their own parents actually did this stuff.
Bonus: Don’t look through their freaking backpacks. Chances are they know damn well they have loads of unfinished papers and the stress of knowing is so overwhelming they don’t even wanna look at it.
Masterpost of (almost) all the finished illustrations I made for the ending of Spyro 1! Although since Fumblr doesn’t allow more than 11 images I’ll have to upload Baker Delvin later… We were given the opportunity to make an illustration of whatever we wanted with Spyro characters, so I thought it would be fun to do 12! The idea behind these is that Spyro is an Artisan dragon, and his surrogate dragondads are helping him find his ‘artistic voice.’ It reminded me of the teachers that made an influence on me, despite having to put up with my own crap (I wasn’t the best student!). These dragons illustrated here were designed between myself, Jeff Murchie and Nicholas Kole. 38 Studios reunion!

The last one got me.
when millennials were first heading into high school and college there was a huge trend in news stories about how stressed out our kids are, how their backs are getting messed up from carrying so many books, how they’re sleeping less and doing more school work, and how we should do more to help our kids have the childhoods we had because our kids are falling apart from stress and being forced to be more productive than kids should be. but then once millennials started hitting the workforce all the news was about how millennials are lazy and narcissistic and entitled lmao you were real concerned about us until you found out a 23 year old is more qualified to do your job than you
That’s because at some point in the middle we stopped being “their children” and became a bloc of terrifying outsiders with foreign values and little regard for what had been their established cultural norms.
I’d forgotten this but you’re right. I think it started earlier though, it started when we started out performing them on exams. Then suddenly all our schoolwork was easy and we were being rewarded for just showing up.
