Um...how do you stop yourself from falling asleep whilst meditating, please? I have the breathing bit down and I can just about empty my mind, but almost every time I reach that nice quiet, empty, state I doze right off. It is starting to get seriously aggravating. Any tips gratefully received.
What this tells me is that you are sleep deprived.
And if that is the case, there is nothing wrong with just taking a nap instead. Clearly your body needs it.
I have the same issue and I’m NOT sleep deprived--I get close to 9 hours a night. But I’m ADHD and in the absence of sufficient stimuli my brain choses sleep like a goose chooses crime.
