The 4th Shinobi war destroyed the world. Or that was how it felt. With only a fraction of Ninjas left after three years of war, peace felt like an ugly Lie. Zetsu's plans failed, his will overturned and controlled by a Madara furious at his planned betrayal, and his desperate attempts to bring world peace was a blight upon the world instead. When he finally was sealed away, Naruto felt only emptiness.
He was Kage of the Allied forces, but the hat was too heavy and empty. Why should he accept this broken world? He would not accept it.
His refusal to accept reality lead to only one solution. Time Travel.
But going back in time is truly just the start, with Sakura and Sasuke by his side, this is a chance for them to take hold of what could have been theirs from the start.
