Today I went to the almost perfect used book store in Roseville Ca. They have a lot of books but I’d rate them about 8/10 on a scale of used book stores I’ve been to. But if your in the area it’s a nice place to check out.

Possessive. That’s what he was.

He didn’t care. Tetsu was his shadow, his lover— his. He didn’t want to share any longer, even if deep down he knew Kagami was the better partner. He didn’t want to stand the thought of losing him for another second. Yeah, he was possessive, but he didn’t care.

Aomine spoke through contact just as much as he spoke with his words, so it showed. It showed in the ways his fingers would ghost down the boy’s sides, and in his gaze as he followed the trails made. It showed in the ways he would hold him close while sleeping, almost as if he were afraid, even unconsciously, that something would pry the smaller male from him in his sleep. And it too, showed in the various kisses he left on smooth skin; in the red marks that resulted that he knew Tetsu had difficulty hiding.

He wasn’t good at sharing, and he wanted the world to know Tetsu was his. That he would protect the boy to no end, and wouldn’t let anyone or thing get in the way. That he was just as much of the light in Aomine’s life as Aomine was to his. Hickeys were the best way to convey this message, especially in his unique language of physical contact mixed with seldom few words.

Regardless of Tetsu’s complaints, he would continue to leave them. This thought was solidified in his mind as he nudged in yet another kiss to the other’s neck, his eyes deceivingly soft and loving. He was possessive, and he’d let the world know.

when did we replace the word “said” with “was like”

When it occured to us that “said” implies a direct quote, while “was like” clarifies that you mean to communicate the person’s tone and general point without quoting them word for word.
