Tbhly, it isn't that I don't wanna write apathid anymore just.... Idk i think I'll be doing some more real time writing with him and my whole yemaya verse probably on my mumu but who knows. So basically its all up in the air and assume i am on a little hiatus.

She chuckles at his question. “Is that what you think? There’s some need for fulfillment here?” If only it is that simple. She sighs facetiously. “They need me. Monotony is the enemy for progression and innovation. They hate to admit it but they pray for me.”

“If there’s no need for some type of fulfillment,then can we really be what we are?” The question sounds stark enough compared to his easy going banter, Apathid laughs though, “I mean if you really wanna get technical with it.” 

As they walk up the hilly street he stops in his tracks, turning to her. “They also pray for other things, you ever thought how your work makes everybody else’s a little harder?” Not that he can complain-he’s not a god that seeks out progression.

“Don’t flatter me too much I might actually come rescue you more often then.” He looks over at Eris and gently probes her with his elbow. “I gotta ask, you getting what you want outta this life? Being chased, releasing all that trouble in the world. You gotta be exhausted sometime.”

He is nonetheless unconvinced of Mateos simple answer as he compares it to the rest of him. A tamed walk shouldn’t put so much pressure on a man that they needed to press on a wall and brood for a long chilling moment. Apathid wondered if the other was having what’s known as a mental breakdown. He’s seen humans do it for the past decade or so- it’s fascinating really. 

“Well I’m sure you can do multiple things at the same time.” he alludes to something bigger than just walking in the middle of the night, alone, something under Mateo’s skin. “I’ve heard people walk around to lessen their burdens.... you just seem to collect more.” He smiles apathetically in a sense because he gets it- not everyone or everything has the capacity to unburden themselves so easily with a mere walk. But he won’t say more to it.

“Maybe I can join you?” he proposes, “if you want? I was kinda gonna lean on that wall and wallow on my shitty day-but you got here first and took my spot.”Apathid smiles a bit teasing his way through the thick atmosphere between them. “you wanna tell me whats going on in that head of yours?”

No ones gonna find you.” Apa leads the way down the busy street, his long legs trekking more sidewalk than usual, he’s trying to move fast so no one lingers too long on their faces. In these streets people are much too willing to open their mouths and point to where others are going. 

“But, you have to be more careful next time-- I can’t always be there for you.” He says, not always like this anyway, he isn’t the saving type as much as he wants to be, it should go unsaid. He turns a corner that leads to an up hill street now, it’s quieter here. 

“Who you piss off anyway? I could tell back over there... it don’t seem to be someone to take so lightly.”

“You’d think by now you would have learned your lesson.” Apathid looks out the blurry window covered in the slush of rain, he slightly presses his forehead to the cold pane letting it feign it’s remedy like it would soothe his  growing headache. A headache accumulated by- no not running, more like averting and avoiding this person by all means necessary. So...running.

“But here you are.” He turns to look at them now, the creases on his forehead smoothing out a bit,the corners of his lips turning upward- he’s itching for something appropriate to say but his mind is running on bad jokes, poorly constructed puns and inappropriate jabs. “You people need to stop thinking I’m some ‘murder whisperer’ I mean, it’s kinda cheesy.” Apathid steps grow closer, he’s languid,relaxed always when he shouldn’t be. 

“Why are you on my case? Always after me? Aren’t you supposed to be all about that whole no judgement thing? You leave it up to your invisible God?”

But on a real note this writing constipation is ..... draining. But like !!!! I know i dont have to be on here or feel bad about not constantly writing !! This is a low activity blog and i have a life lol. I just wanna speak to my void and tell them they a bitch and that i have great things to offer.
