If you identify as a Nazi, neo-nazi, alt-right, fascist, or as a ānational socialistā, unfollow me. You are not welcome here. Iāve had to block two Nazi witches in one day. Itās either unfollow me or get blocked when I notice who you are. Contacting me may risk cursing along with blocking, so if you really want to combat me on this, go ahead. šš

Dollar Tree witchcraftāØ
Thank you so so much for 350 followersā Hope this list helps inspire someone to do some affordable yet fun witchcraft shopping!
- Goblets or wine glasses serve as chalicesĀ
- Frames (you can create a black mirror, or print out pictures of your familiar or pet, or draw pictures of symbols and sigils and insert them into the frame)Ā
- Salt, herbs, and spices
- Jars and bottles
- Mugs for teas and charmed drinks
- Vases
- Candles
- Plates/dishes
- Styrofoam molds (guys, they have some amazing styrofoam stuff??? Heads, balls, wreath shapes, squares, etc. perfect for decorating. You could paint them with a thick, glossy paint to try to cover up the styrofoam look, but it would also look cool with the chipped effect! Theyāre great for many projects. You could even paint a styrofoam head to hold any amulets/etc. Try cutting a hole at the top and supergluing a crystal in it so that it pokes mostly out, and then even gluing dried moss around it. Or, Painting a styrofoam shape black and then drawing sharpie sigils such as for "the object this holds is cleansed" and then if questioned say youāre just decorating it to "look cooler")
- Bowls for cleansing things in
- Incense
- Matches/lighters
- Stickers
- Seeds
- Bells
- Candle stands/holders
- Fish netting (gives a cool look to many things, especially as a "cloth" for water based altars!)
- Paper bags
- "Gems" and stones (could paint runes or elemental symbols on them, etc)
- Canvases
- Containers
- Twine/burlap and decorative greenery (flowers, fake moss, straw, etc) (you can usually buy burlap in bulk at stores for a better deal)
- Sometimes around fall they have hand sized hay barrels you can set crystals, a candle, etc on!
- Branch wreaths
- Fake vines and leaves
- Glitter (spell jars, sigil decor, etc)
Nonverbal Witchcraft
For my witches who cannot speak, struggle to speak, or choose to remain quiet.
This post is a compilation of ideas and personal methods from fellow nonverbal witches. Not everything may fit for you, but hopefully it will give you a starting point!
Spells:
Write the words and focus your energy on bringing them into being. You could burn the piece of paper to finish off the spell. One contributor also mentions burying the paper.Ā
Our thoughts are powerful. Focus, and say the words in your mind.
You can also mouth the words without speaking them, if that helps you.
Whispering is also great if that works for you!
Find power in silence, use it as its own tool.
Use instruments to create certain rhythms for different spells, instead of chanting.Ā
If sound is helpful, play music that you feel relates/connects you to the spell.
Cast circles and finalize spells by snapping.
Sigils are concentrated intentionāuse that to your advantage. They can absolutely be a base for spellwork.Ā
Use a power source; the elements (candles, soil, the air around you, a bowl of water, etc.), crystals, burning herbs, etc.
To feel energy without using words to confirm: use tools that have stronger energy that you can physically feel. Ā
Make spell candles, jars or sachets.Ā
Use sign language! Iām of the opinion that everyone should at least learn the basics, and there are plenty of free resources out there!
Specific spells:
Casting a circle:Ā āYou can cast a circle by walking in a circle and visualizing your footsteps imprinting on the earth below, creating a barrier of light (color chosen to correspond to intention at the time), walk the circle 3 times and see the barrier in your mind forming a perfect sphere around your work space, becoming brighter and stronger each step you take.ā*
To banish: write the things you wish to banish on a piece of paper, light them on fire with a black candle and place in a burn bowl.Ā
To release and invite: use two pieces of paper. On one, write down everything youād like to release from your life. On the other, write down everything youād like to invite into your life. Burn the release paper and dispose of the ashes, keep the invite paper. (Optional: I like to do this on the new moon, and have a black candle above the release paper and a white candle above the invite paper).
Protective charm: (click here)
To raise you out of a dark place: (click here)
Spell of destruction: (click here)
Energy work:
Use aĀ cajon, bells, singing bowl, steel tongue drum/moondrum, or other instruments to raise energy!
āI have a specific snapping rhythm that is āmagic timeā. When I snap the rhythm once or three times itās go time and I fall into the zone.ā*
āFor energy work and to raise energy I dance and as my heartbeat gets louder in my ears I mentally chant with it, focusing on a short phrase, intention, or incantation with the energy I physically raised and the meditative repetition of my mind.ā*
Use a power source; the elements, crystals, burning herbs, etc.
Most energy work involves movement, rather than words (click here for energy work with restricted movement).
Other ideas:
Worship: write letters, devote your actions, decorate an altar. Prayers donāt need to be spoken! Or write your prayers and place them on an altar, burn them, or keep them. (Bedridden worship)
Divination doesnāt require spoken word, especially once you have a bond with your tools. You can always use writing, sigils, or your thoughts to channel your intent/question. (Bedridden divination)
Charge crystals with your intent and wear them/carry them in a pouch.Ā
Kitchen witchcraft, garden magic, tea magic, etc. etc.Ā
Utilize the correspondences of the items in your life.Ā

Tips for the Baby Witch
witchcraft is an enhancement to your life, it shouldnt be or determine your whole life
its okay to do or not do things. what matters is what youre comfortable with
figure out your ethics before you do anything. figure out how you feel about involving others in your craft, about curses/hexes, deities, etc. you might regret past actions if you figure this out too late
start easy. people arent born as a master in anything, including witchcraft. try not to overwork yourself
its okay to be casual. you dont have to dedicate your entire life to the craft. you dont need fancy supplies to be valid
do research. on everything you want to do, but especially spells, spirits, and how to protect yourself. protection is especially important
you dont have to be an expert in your preferred kind of craft. its okay to need help, to need to look things up, etc
keep your comfort in mind, but also that of others. your ethics are up to you, but you should know what effects you might have on others
you dont have to call yourself a witch, or use any other terms
you will learn with time. give it time

Reblog this if u a hellenic polytheist who LOVES trans/nonbinary folks and queer folks. Reblog this is u a hellenic polytheist or hellenic who believes in ending the gender binary and allowing people to identify as however the fuck they want to, and supporting them. Reblog this if ur a hellenic polytheist who believes our gods both draw strength from and ALSO transcend gender.
Reblog this if u understand or want to understand that just because western/white ideals of gender involve a binary, that this isnāt the only way of looking at gender that historically existed and STILL exists across cultures, and that to enforce one view over others is white supremacy and only feeds patriarchal oppression by reinforcing its ideals of binary and punishment of nonconformity
reblog this if ur a hellenic polytheist who says NO to crusty white cisheteropatriarchyāĀ in which white cis men oppress all those who donāt identify as white heterosexual cisgender men.
reblog this if you realize that we have to work together.
for those who have been fighting this fight in the community long before i got here, I THANK YOU <3

What's the number one tip you'd give a beginner witch?
Research and learn what discernment is before you start anything! I feel like witchcraft is definitely one of those things that constantly has people jumping in headfirst, and it gets to the point where no one can tell the difference between a sign (whether itās from a deity, spirit, or from a spell working/not working) and a coincidence.Ā
I highly recommend checking out these posts on discernment:

Things I Hope my Teacherās Learn fromĀ āDistance Learningā
- You donāt have to assign homework over the weekend itās pointless and we deserve a fucking break
- Be clear with explaining things
- Group projects are pointless and people can get a lot more done when they arenāt dealing with idiotic people
- Students learn just as much without tests and are (SURPRISE) happier and less stressed without that pressure
- In addition to that, any tests should be open book because itās about understanding and applying the knowledge, not memorizing it
- When students take more breaks they are happier
- Being out of school has improved so many peopleās mental health that you canāt say it wasnāt caused by school
- People who care will put in effort and those who donāt wonāt, stop bothering and let the people who know what theyāre doing just do their work
- Phones and online resources can be helpfulĀ
- Check your fucking emails more often
- If students have more free time because of less homework, they are more likely to pursue new interests like I see many of my friends doing, developing new hobbies that may become careers theyāre interested in. So instead of pressuring us to figure out what we want to do, give us more free time and we might do it without instruction
- A lot of classes can be put online and face no difficulties
No oneās going to listen to me but I had to rant
