you’ve got me in a chokehold — god, I don’t really know where to start. this was the first piece i contributed to the book and had been at the top of my list of choices. so like, the imposter syndrome almost got me a few times. i didn’t feel like i was tenured enough as a fan artist or even a fan long enough to be involved in a project of this caliber.

sleep token has gotten me through some rough and dark times this year, and through this project I didn’t just find myself amongst a community of insanely talented artists, I found people who understood me. the grief. the dark days. i found a light, friends, and people i want to share memes with. — anyway, this piece is my pride and joy.

the ruffle, the lighting on the masks, i am just so elated with how it turned out. this whole book is a gorgeous love letter to the music and emotions. thank you to everyone involved, and especially to sleep token & natt 🫶🏻
