its very interesting to me how simultaneously independent yet merged-into-one they are. their own separate sides of a shared bedroom they chose to share out of the dozens of singular rooms in the mansion with a door that has their body colors split in the center

marshmallow and apple share a bedroom! out of the many many MANY rooms in the mansion, they chose to share one! lets dissect

their room entrance... the way their door has their body colors side by side... ohhh its so serious for them

the room at the moment seems to only hold their respective beds and a bunch of diy decor by apple herself. whether it be on the structure itself or on paper hung up sprawled around, the rooms full of life and personality so its never a dull moment for them

all these drawings of apple by apple are so cute oh my goodness. shes so creative and imaginative. theres apple with a harp possibly as an angel, detective apples, regular ol apple being happy, pirate apple fighting off a sea creature, and a giant apple with dirk strider cool shades causing havoc with a dinosaur in the back. shes so artistic oh so talented oh i need to commision you

AND THERES MORE DRAWINGS AROUND! some miscellanious beasts, herself, marshmallow, and various writings. possibly practicing her reading/writing and making stories up even...

her race car bed. oh my god her race car bed. because OF COURSE shes have one. ugh

now marshmallow's side seems to be sparse which saddens me a bit, i hope she has her own kinda interests and hobbies as well and all there seems to be is her own bed and a frame above it. shes possibly not the type to over decorate and have all these things like apple does, and i think with apple doing all of that in the same space as her helps balance things out. she likes seeing apple be herself and express herself, because thats her truest self that keeps marshmallow grounded to reality knowing everythings fine. apple is fine, she is fine, theyre both fine, it will all be fine

marshmallow knowing apple has been wanting to have a group slumber party with others and despite her not wanting to be part of the game or be with others too much she still let apple have her moment... apple knowing marshmallow gets upset and feels a certain way about the game due to her experiences yet setting her wants for social fun aside to assure her its okay... they love each other so much and are so dependent on the other theyd do anything to put aside their differences to keep the other happy and with them...

ALSO!!! actually crazy how upset marsh got over the others not wanting to play with apple and her games. shes insane and madly in love

marsh gets sooooo up in arms about it and starts ranting about how the game brings the worst out in people... all because soap and tea kettle dont want to keep playing dollar store twister (okay and also because theyre so game focused she just knows itll drive everyone up the walls from her experience)

she says how they just need to relax and its really really really interesting to me... because marsh wasnt ever one to have relaxed at all after let 'er rip. she was on edge and ruminating on the reality of the world because of apple's supposed betrayal. that kept her up for so long and now shes FINALLY able to relax a bit with the one important person in her life that keeps her grounded with her silly antics

like, look at her. shes so MIFFED and POUTY about them not wanting to play with apple, but apple just handles it rather well? i mean, she seemed to have been rather insistant about continuing to play given they seem to have been going on for a while now and making up new rules (best six of eleven?), but theres also theres no denying she def wanted to keep them with her

i dont think apple's fear of abandonment streak and clingyness is all gone but its astounding how as marsh was getting increasingly upset and ranting about the game, she jumped in quickly to deter from that and reassure her that shes fine with it. apple possibly still seems to be putting her feelings aside for others (marsh) but who knows. anythings possible with these girls

i think apple and marshmallow really love each other deeply theyd do anything for the other just to see each other happy and not upset

actually beautiful to me how apples been wanting to do a slumber party with others for a while now, and marshmallow knows this. she knows this and shes finally getting to see apple have her fun! its funny especially given how marsh possibly isnt one to want to be with other characters too?

soap's comment here gives me that inclination that marsh is just THAT strongly against the game and everything about it, she possibly just wants nothing to do with interacting as the game is active currently. could possibly cause a bit if friction between marsh n apple as theyre both opposite ends of this dilemma, but seem respectful of each others' wishes

and marshmallow doesnt even seem to be bothered in the slightest just a little awkward at the beginning doing the intro

also greatly enjoyed bow and dough's relationship. i love their bickering but closefulness out of just being stuck together so they end up caring (esp dough to bow) and their love for causing chaos
