hi. i bought one of those fortune cookie disposable cameras from UO and the red cover on it seems to be covering the view on it. should i take it off and have the kodak cover or leave the red box on?

You can take the cardboard packaging off since it's basically a disposable camera underneath. It may not look as cool but it'll still work fine. In order to get the best results make sure you take the photos with the flash on (and better at night or indoors) the darker your background the easier it will be to read the fortune.
