remilisce:
the rumour spread like wildfire on the streets; spectre versus honesuki. definitely an intriguing situation but remi wouldn’t mind playing by the rules for once. especially when her life is on the line. during the day it’s suspiciously quiet while at night it becomes grand theft auto: reality version. anyone with a sense of knowledge will assume that the spectre will attack at night.
unfortunately, remi got caught up playing a video game at the arcade until the moon rose. an intelligent idea is taking a path that’s occupied with other citizens. like the main street. however, the con artist thought it was better to take the alleyways home. which got her into a SLIGHT mess; she interrupted a homicide.
remi didn’t stay to find out the weapon of choice as now she was the knew target for being an eye witness. GREAT. any obstacle in the way, she either ran straight through or hopped over it until she thought the perpetrator lost her trace. quick steps were still being taken. constantly looking behind in distress. the led lights shined like the heaven’s gates into the alley. just a few more steps and she will be secure. more people around. more places to hide. however, her sight to the street was ceased by bright red hair.
naturally, flinching in surprise is her first instinct, but her digits curled into a tight fist as she drew back. if it wasn’t for a woman’s ravishing voice to enter her vicinity, the girl would’ve gotten a nasty punch to the face. shoot first, ask questions later. is her motto. once remi was able to comprehend whose voice it belonged to, her hands grabbed april’s outer biceps and guided her backwards around the corner. “ you’re going on a date with me. “ her words were hurried; making a statement rather than a question.
the drawn back fist was enough to put april on the defense. she was small, definitely, but her parents had put her in many self defense classes growing up. they knew how easy it was for girls her size to be on their own and to defend themselves, so she had been subjected to about a decade of the classes, which in hindsight wasn’t a bad thing. it saved her from getting her ass kicked before, and it’ll save her from whoever this person was.
she immediately relaxed, although not completely, her rigid and defensive posture, her eyes recognizing the face that she was met with. “is this a hobby for you?” the redhead against, sucking her teeth. “do you enjoy scaring the absolute fuck out of people? is that how you get your shits and giggles?” she was a bit of a pouty mouth, much to the chagrin of most of her family.
she frowned when she felt hands gripping her shoulders and force being pressed against them, forcing her to walk backwards. “excuse me?” she scoffed, although she continued walking backwards around the corner. “first of all, no. you can’t just tell someone that they’re going on a date with you, you have to ask them. i’m not that easy - or easy at all. ask me properly.” she dug her heels into the ground - although not literally. she wasn’t trying to mess up her shoes.
“second of all, i’m not dressed for a date.” she looked down at what she was wearing. a pair of jeans, a floral top and wedges wasn’t really what she considered date attire. “and third of all, a date where?” she couldn’t believe she was actually considering going through with it.
