I don’t want to be the person who ends up with mushy squash.
ALLISON!
" It was Oliver who handed Rebekah over to the witches so they could torture her, but then again, wasn’t it Diego who led a werewolf massacre last month? And the witches cursed the wolves, while the humans stood back and let it all happen, so when you think about it…"

I know how you kiss. I’d have gone after her.

Damon Season 5 Appreciation: best brotp moment
At first, I thought Damon was being his usual snarky self when he said “a couple thousand at most,” but after rewatching it, I realized that he was actually correcting her.
They both had just saved everyone they love and were about to go out like the bosses they are. And in his last moments, for the first time, he was comfortable being open directly to someone (other than his girl, his brother, and his best friend) about how she’s on his “small list” of people he cares about- that he’s glad he’s not alone and she’s by his side, facing the unknown together. When push comes to shove, he can count on her, and he’s alright with verbalizing that instead of hiding behind his usual snide remarks.
It was such a beautiful milestone in his character development.
I tend to punch first and then find out who I actually hit later.
