You havenāt heard about this style yet? Itās been around for at least two decades.
yes, witchcraft does have an old and ancient history
And evil takes form in Thranduil. He may seem like your typical backstabbing slut-faced ho-bag, but in reality, heās so much more than that. (x) (tumblr)

THE LAST ONE OMFG
It was like the second when you come home late at night and see the yellow envelope of the telegram sticking out from under your door and you lean and pick it up, but donāt open it yet, not for a second. While you stand there in the hall, with the envelope in your hand, you feel thereās an eye on you, a great big eye looking straight at you from miles and dark and through walls and houses and through your coat and vest and hide and sees you huddled up way inside, in the dark which is you, inside yourself, like a clammy, sad little foetus you carry around inside yourself. The eye knows whatās in the envelope, and it is watching you to see you when you open it and know, too. But the clammy, sad little foetus which is you way down in the dark which is you too lifts up its sad little face and its eyes are blind, and it shivers cold inside you for it doesnāt want to know what is in that envelope. It wants to lie in the dark and not know, and be warm in its not-knowing. The end of man is knowledge, but there is one thing he canāt know. He canāt know whether knowledge will save him or kill him. He will be killed, all right, but he canāt know whether he is killed because of the knowledge which he has got or because of the knowledge which he hasnāt got and which if he had it, would save him. Thereās the cold in your stomach, but you open the envelope, you have to open the envelope, for the end of man is to know.

#no one realizes the significance of thisĀ #the point of this movie is not that you will find another loveĀ #itās that douches like tom will keep falling into the cycle of chasing a manic pixie dream girlĀ #and probably think that sheās the oneĀ #but guess what? just because you listen to the same music or because she has a cute nameĀ #doesnāt mean that youāre meant for each otherĀ #500 days of summer the most misunderstood hipster hit the world has ever seen
And letās talk about the fact that Joseph Gordon Levitt himself said the point of the movie is not so youād feel bad for him and fall in love with him, itās so youād realize how selfish some people are. Actual quote from him from an interview: The (500) Days of Summer attitude of āHe wants you so badā seems attractive to some women and men, especially younger ones but I would encourage anyone who has a crush on my character to watch it again and examine how selfish he is.ā "He develops a mildly delusional obsession over a girl onto whom he projects all these fantasies. He thinks sheāll give his life meaning because he doesnāt care about much else going on in his life. A lot of boys and girls think their lives will have meaning if they find a partner who wants nothing else in life but them. Thatās not healthy. Thatās falling in love with the idea of a person, not the actual person.ā
