Enquanto eu não tenho realmente a habilidade de falar espanhol ou italiano, eu consegui entender essas pessoas por que:

1) Espanhol, Italiano e Português são todas línguas com raízes fortes no latim, portanto elas tem muitas palavras similares.

2) mas diferente de Inglês e Francês, que também tem raízes no latim, essas três línguas tem phonemas bem mais similares, o que torna até mesmo a compreensão auditiva mais fácil.

3) O contexto ajuda muito.

À propósito, me diga se vc entendeu o que eu disse e tag sua linguagem primária, eu tô curioso.
