Itty Bitty Bee Free Pattern
So, it’s been a while, huh? Here’s a quick little ami I made a week ago that works up in minutes!!!
I’ve made a ton of bees in the past few years that I’ve designed amigurumi simply because they’re such a fun little critter to make! It’s the perfect thing to make if you have scrap yarn or if you’re just starting out. It’s quick, it’s simple, and it’ll make you smile!
4 ply acrylic yarn in yellow, brown, and cream
rnd 1: magic ring, make 5 sc [5]
rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) 5 times [15]
fasten off leaving a long tail on 1 of the wings to use for sewing
rnd 1: magic ring, make 5 sc [5]
rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) 5 times [15]
rnd 4: (sc in each of the net 2 st, inc) 5 times [20]
rnd 5-6: sc all around [20]
rnd 7-8: sc all around [20]
rnd 9: sc all around [20]
rnd 10: (sc in each of the next 3 st, dec) 4 times [16]
rnd 11: sc all around [16]
rnd 12: (sc in each of the next 2 st, dec) 4 times [12]
rnd 13: (sc in next st, dec) 4 times [8]
rnd 14: (sc in each of the next 2 st, dec) 3 times [6]
fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing
Using your tapestry needle and some brown yarn, sew on a small U or inverted U depending on the expression of the bee you want. Sew this from rnd 3-5 of each side of the head
weave in the ends of the bee
sew the wings together making a really wide heart like shape
sew the wings to the bee’s back - from rnd 6-11; make sure that it’s at the middle of the back
