public service announcement:

If you can't get your game to load because it keeps crashing - use the new S4S cheat to find and remove the culprits! S4S > Ctrl Shift C to bring up cheat console > type in Slot195 > navigate to your mods folder > remove ALL the items it brings up. You'll have to do it manually so I recommend copying and pasting the file names and searching for them in your mod folder. It took me an hour (I had over 150 files) but afterwards my game started up straight away with no issues and I can play as normal! Bless the wonderful people at S4S!

The Enogie Collection

Heritage is finally Back with a new collection.

After a long creative pause, I’m closing out 2025 with a collection that means so much to me.

The Enogie collection is my love letter to the Benin Kingdom and the culture that raised me.

Think deep reds, coral beads, bold shapes, and all the pride and artistry I grew up with in Benin City. This is my tribute, a homecoming bringing the full spirit of the Benin Kingdom with me.

This collection features:

4 dresses (14 Swatches with velvet and Ankara textures/prints)

It has been a while. I know. Life carried me away and I allowed it.

These last few months feel like a fever dream. Being invited to the Met Gala, not only to attend but to create, is something I still struggle to put into words. To stand in that space as a designer felt like watching a younger version of myself finally exhaled. Heritage was seen, and through it, so was I. It reminded me of how far this journey has brought me and how much further there is to go.

After that high, I needed stillness. The children are growing at a pace I can barely hold in my hands. They are taller, sharper, funnier, slipping into their own little worlds while still holding on to mine. Zayne and I wanted to give them more than a home. We wanted to give them space to breathe and for us to slow down together as a family. So we renovated, uprooted, and settled in the folds of the French countryside near Lyon. Life here is peaceful, surrounded by fields and quiet mornings. We now have a stable, which has become one of my favorite places to clear my head, and it has brought so much joy and calm into our days.

But you know me. I can not stay away from my work for long. I have missed creating, storytelling, and connecting with you. I am returning here to share more about being a mother, a partner, and the woman behind Heritage. The brand has become more than fashion to me. It is my story, and I am ready to tell it again.

RIP, CmarNYC

I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.

As well as Sims, Cmar loved cats, and donations are suggested to the ASPCA, the TinyKittens Society, or an animal-related charity near you.
