âHonestly I thought you would have known from last night how angry I could get, but I guess that small slip of my finger just reminded you how I could be both in bed and in duty, Kim,â Jeonggukâs features darkened, his grin turning into a half-smirk as he approached his target and grabbing his hands, arresting Taehyung. âI didnât get your pretty face scratched, right?â Jeongguk mocked Taehyungâs playful tone as he skilfully trapped both of his hands with the officerâs right hand and with his other hand stroking his cheek.
âAnything you say can and will be held against you,â Jeongguk finally reached out his handcuffs and placed them on Taehyungâs. âSo only say my name: Jeon Jeongguk.â
Taehyung is always five steps ahead, analyzing each scenario down to its roots, just to have the upper hand at all times. He thought he'd finally gotten the city right in the palm of his hand, before the encounter with a certain Jeon Jeongguk. Life had suddenly become more difficult with the officer's spectacular introduction into his life, but then again, since when did Taehyung want the easy life? He'd always been troublesome for the fun of it all; definitely not repressed emotions that overruled his system.
But now, with a heavy gaze fastened upon him, Taehyung had no time for existentialism. Instead, he stared right back, his eyes intense and speaking all of the words he bit back. He knew that there was nothing he could do now, cornered and powerless, with no other choice but to give in. He does just that, but with much regret.
"Jesus, you're going to make me deaf shooting that thing so close to my ear," he growls as the officer grips his wrists too tight, cuffing them together behind his back. "Where's the respect these days? You act like I killed somebody. I'm not that dangerous; you already know that, Jeon Jeongguk."
His lip curls, forced into the back seat of the other officer's car, grumbling even as they head for the station. It was Taehyung's least favorite place to be, but now that he had a new victim to toy with, the stay wouldn't be so bad.
"You liked my pretty face enough last night, wouldn't want to ruin it, would you, Jeon Jeongguk?" Taehyung says melodically, too amused with the way fate had been pulled this night, now sitting rather comfortably in his seat. "Do your friends know about last night's affair? Our little night of fun? I bet they'd love to hear all about it. You don't mind if I spill your secrets, do you?"
Taehyung watches Jeongguk carefully, despite being unable to properly see his face from his spot, wanting to pry and pry until he would finally crack. It was a rare occassion that Taehyung would actually get caught after one of his late night runs, but it would have all been worth it if he gets to mess around with poor Jeongguk's brain in his overnight stay at the station.
