Story presentation :
Gabriel was really happy that his father, Marc Spector, was a superhero. But he had to keep it a secret, which, although it sucked, he could do without problem.
When his parents divorced when he was 9, he felt really sad at the idea of not seeing his dad as much often. They told him it was better for their safety, but he heard his parents arguments late at night, when he couldn't sleep, which was often.
In his teenagehood, he started seeing his dad more often at his cover job, "Mr.Knight's agency". He became familiar with the vampires working there, as well as 2 other heroes working here at the Midnight Mission, Cloak and Dagger, with who he quickly became close friends with. But the more he grew up, the more he started to see the dark reality of his father, Marc Spector, the Moon Knight. But most importantly, just like his father, he started seeing the figure wrapped in a cloak with a giant bird skull that haunted him. He started seeing Khonshu...
While scared of the idea of serving the god of the Moon, Gabriel understood the righteousness of his mission, protecting the travelers of the night. His only problem with it was his brutal methods. So alongside his father, he started admiring other heroes with more "peaceful" ways : Spider-Man and his folks. Although they do give bad guys quite a beatdown, at least they always try to avoid an unnecessary bloodshed and pull their punches.
So when one night, while he crashed at the Midnight Mission instead of his apartment, he got bitten by some strange spider, everything changes. Not only did he gain spider powers, he could also not just see, but hear Khonshu. And now, he had to take on the responsibility that came with his task at hand. Hopefully with his father at his side and the other Spider people, he would be ready...
Abilities :
General Spider abilities : wall-crawling, spider-sense, and increased strength, stamina and endurance
The healing factor from the Spider abilities is slightly increased due to Khonshu's protection. Khonshu could also hypothetically resurrect him, just like he did with Marc multiple times, but...let's say he'd rather avoid dying in the first place
Khonshu's sight : an alternative to the spider-sense where Arachknight can focus his vision to detect potential threats (sort of like the eagle vision in the Assassin's creed games). He can only use it for a short period of time (≈10 seconds) without it draining his energy and making him exhausted or even faint. He could potentially fix that with more practice, but it would take a LOT of it

Small trivia :
About his aliases : Gabriel came up with those to match his father's alters (he thought they were just secret identities at the time). He came up with Thadeus because it was the fanciest name he could think of since Steven Grant was a millionaire, also he used that one at school. For Joshua Lockley, he simply liked the sound of it, and uses it for when he's roaming the streets or doing some small gigs. As for Arachknight, surprisingly, Khonshu chose it.
He suffers from insomnia. It's very rare for him to be able to sleep, and when he does get some sleep, it's barely a few hours (his maximum is around 4)
He has some signs of autism, but it's never really been established if he's really autistic or not : he has a few hyperfixations, most notably about space and history, he can't stand loud noises (for some reason that doesn't apply to music), and he's socially awkward (especially around women). He also showed signs of BPD or anger issues, it's not clear yet.
Fearing that Khonshu might want to pull him into his "business" as well, Marc made sure his son was well trained physically. Not mentally, for obvious reasons. His alters also played a role in Gabriel's education : Steven taught him manners, smooth talking and how to blend in a crowd,as well as giving him more advanced history lessons, while Jake taught him how to negotiate, a bit of self-defense, and Spanish. While Frenchie was still around, he also taught Gabriel a bit of French.
He never really understood the discrimination Mutants get and openly expressed about how it makes no sense. Those who tried to show their "arguments" for why "Muties" deserved that hate regretted it (only for a moment, tho, because they're obviously morons)
He's fine with all kinds of animals, but he has a preference for cats

Lastly, a small disclaimer : I know about the OG Arachknight from Infinity Warp, I just found his design awesome and wanted to try and have my own take on him.
