OMEGA ORIGINS THEORY

Before Bad Batch came out, I came up with several possible theories about who Omega is. Now that we know who she is, treat this as a part two.

We know that Omega is a female clone of Jango Fett. But is she unaltered or not?

This is from the Ep 7 guide on StarWars.com. The text implies that Omega is unaltered, just like Boba. “Omega has seen clones of various generations grow older before her eyes,” meaning she’s been there since at least 32BBY (aka when Generation One clones were born). If Omega was altered, she’d be (at the very least) 5 years old biologically, but 10 years old physically. That doesn’t exactly correlate with her seeing generations grow older before her eyes, so it’s very likely she’s actually unaltered, making her biologically and physically 13 at the most.

Now..why 13?

Rex is a Generation One clone, as confirmed by Omega in Ep 7. Rex was born in 32BBY, making him biologically 13 and physically 26 by 19BBY. Here’s the thing though: Rex was originally supposed to be named Alpha.

Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet—

—and Omega is the last. Alpha and Omega, beginning and end.

Do you see what I’m saying?

Omega is the last of the Generation One clones.

here’s the thing though

mark OMEGA????

this isn’t just a coincidence. hyperspace tracking was also a project mentioned in that rogue one scene, and sure enough, just a year later, hyperspace tracking was a whole entire plot point in TLJ.

so what the hell does the empire want with omega
