Nope, between Trust in Rust and HerdingCats, I’m sure childishGambino on ao3 converted plenty of people tothis ship.

And they’re super cute together, and Ilove imagining them as that couple who blow raspberries in eachothers ears and tickle each other, and there’s probably some kind oftriangular flippy thing going on with Vriska, but tbh my favoritething about this ship is imagining them getting older together andgetting more political together, because if you take Terezi’s solidadherence to the idea that things should be just and add Aradia’svery grounded understanding of how class dynamics work, you end upwith a team of really angry activists ready to kick ass, take names,and establish a new Empire-wide system of domestic politics that’sactually based in reparative justice and an awareness of existingpower dynamics, and how fucking great is that?

Deep Space 9 au where Terezi is a Starfleet commander who was recently blinded when her first officer attempted to seize control of her ship and is now getting shipped out to a Bajoran station against her will, and Aradia is a Bajoran former freedom fighter whose spent her life fighting against Cardassian occupation of her planet and is fiercely opposed to Starfleet or Cardassian presence in Bajoran space. Commander Pyrope and Major Megido disagree about a lot of things–rule of law vs vengeance, whether Bajor should join the Federation, what to do about Cardassian collaborators and war criminals–but as they work together to repair the station, threaten some petty merchants, and stabilize the Bajoran provisional government, they start to think that working together might not be so bad.
