Her and Jax are siblings from the real world... plus, I want to focus more on the whole sibling dynamic with oc and cannon.
Please!! No hate on oc x cannon.... I just want to see a sibling relationship with an oc and cannon character... just my take on it.
Both are Hispanics it be even more funny cause of how and why Jax is a rabbit... XD
We Latinos are literally everywhere, and we have huge families!!! So I wanna add to that.. I hope to get out a little laugh into it, too!
Echo's avatar is a shadowy black cat with bat like wings that she can reveal at any given time.
And like my other posts... it has Steven Universe themes to it cause she has a cresent moon themed gem like pendant that floats directly in front of her chest.... and like a genie she can hide in and out of it.
And whenever she takes heavy hits, she would poof right back into the gem.... The same thing happens when someone(mainly her brother Jax) takes the gem from her and hides it from any light.... like putting said gem in a pouch or in Jax's pocket.
Echo arrives in the circus with Pomni. Both her and Pomni were dorm roommates in college.. this is my curiosity on before the digital circus with Pomni and such... so take this with a grain of salt.
Before the digital circus, Pomni had a job of being an accountant for some company while going to community college to get a masters of whatever her choosing was... during which is where she first met Echo and how both became roommates fast friends.
Similar to Ragatha, Echo has a mother hen tendacies and would look out for Pomni from time to time (that's how I am irl) but a bit more laid back... she would make sure that Pomni does eat whenever she has a hard shift or whichever.
Echo's job was a fast food worker but on the side to help out in the dorm.. Echo sells her paintings and such... which I really want to do... but have no space to do so sadly.
So when her and Pomni enter the C&A abandoned building. Sometimes, Echo will help Pomni out with her urban explanations and help with the videos and such.
Echo is more braver than Pomni was... but still, she scares easily, but echo is the throw punches and runs, for it type of person so yeah.
So when the first day in the digital circus NO ONE noticed Echo only Pomni... Echo is more keen at sticking to the shadows or sidelines... hence the full-on black cat avatar... it's only when confronting an abstracted Kaufmo.... is where Caine and the other caste members see and acknowledge Echo cause, like I mentioned, when either Kaufmo or the zoink queen knocks her out... she poofs into her moon gem and didn't come out of it til Caine has settled everything back to normal quote unquote.
He would be more happy to see TWO BRAND NEW humans entering the circus and would try his goofy tour with her and such.
But the others minus Pomni would be shocked to see a character that is in all black... minus Jax, they all thought Echo was another abstract character.
Similar to Kinger recognizing Queenie as his wife... Pomni would easily recognize Echo as her roommate after the whole shock factor is over... sorta similar to the end of the pilot.... but for Jax to recognize Echo as his little sister... that took near the end of episode 3 and such.
During that and after episode 3, Echo and Pomni are the only ones that can keep Jax under control.
Echo is the only one to know and learn that Jax secretly (not so secretly) has a crush on the little jester.
