Hihii! I'm Score, a new fan of Hi-Fi Rush. Decided that there was no time like the present to make a sideblog for it. I'm an artist, infrequent writer, and SPECTRA enthusiast.

I really like Chai and CNMN, though there's not a single character in this game I outright don't like. I also like making OCs to fill vacant roles in Vandelay Technologies (since I work in a spice/tea processing plant, I have a lot of name inspiration). I'm also always down to talk about basically anything regarding the game.

No idea what this blog might entail. Art probably, maybe writing? And likely a lot of assorted discussuon posting. I have very specific headcanons on Chai's disability and generally adore theorycrafting on everyone's favorite rockstar.

Was having a stray thought about hifi rush and realised chai have no important to the Plot whatsoever, everyone of the main cast have something relating back to vandelay, Macaron is the man on the inside, Korsica is head of security, Peppermint is the direct heir before running away and there chai who only there because he was force to or something.

You could replace chai with Peppermint and the story would be better off just for the fact you could build more of her relationship with Macaron, 808, Korsica or hell even her brother.

The only reason chai are the protaganist is because the last triple AAA with a brown girl as the main lead in 2023 was ridiculed out of malice by gamerbro and company still give a shit about them for some reason.

Y'know, I'm always gonna be a little bit feral about the fact that this grouchy introvert was canonically so lonely that she built herself a custom robotic emotional support animal...

...which just happened to be so perfectly compatible with this random dweeb's vibes that they instantly imprinted on each other, by accident, the first time they made physical contact...

...and then, as if that wasn't bad enough, as soon as they quit arguing all the damn time, this manic pixie dumpster fire of a man starts actually helping the emotional support robot do her job...

...which basically means that our girl here gets to spend the entire game going through the Five Stages of Grief, as she processes the idea that this total doofus...

...might, in fact, be the brand-new very best friend that she wanted all along. <3
