Korsica's design also changes throughout the game (here's her previous ones she's in for most of the game). The changes aren't drastic but it showcases how she's no longer being suffocated by a company who cares little about her. She's got so much aura <3

I love how much of a menace chai is

was rewatching some of the cutscenes- ya know, like ya do and just kinda noticed this;

He full on wound back with a lil fuckin' grin on his face, he was itching to do that shit.

Technically he hit kale in the chest but I genuinely thought for a while he was clocking kale right in the neck, like how macaron knocked the head off of kale's statue in the atrium. Either way its just hilarious to me just how hard chai can actually hit, bro has to be a sleeper build or something.

Somebody liked my old Kale in a dress art and it awoke a sleeper agent inside of me to draw another Kale in a dress cuz I felt I could do better, so thanks to that person!

Or another Chai headcanon I think about consistently in relation to this post by kopawz, but twisted in a different direction.

So yeah, there are multiple instances in-game where Chai’s eyesight is… not the best. Since he doesn’t seem to see particularly well far away (with multiple examples of that provided in kopawz’ blog post) I do headcanon him as nearsighted.

With that in mind, I like drawing a connection between his sight and his character. He doesn’t seem to dwell on the what-ifs of the future, or sweat the details of it. He’s a go with the flow type of dude, the one who focuses on the now-now, on what is right here and right in front of him.

And then you have a character like Roulette, who sees far ahead both figuratively and literally. The most likely outcomes, the most beneficial actions, you name it. I imagine it would sometimes come to a point of overthinking everything, like maybe having a backup plan for a backup plan in case the first backup plan fails.

But I also could imagine this far-sightedness manifesting as “the grass is always greener on the other side” type of deal. Able to observe what other people have achieved, yet blind to her own accomplishments. Never truly feeling like she’s “enough”, neglectful of the good that she already possesses.

Or sometimes it’s just this weird envy of someone who maybe objectively she shouldn’t even be that envious of (oh wow, I wonder who this could be about…).

This is another contrast I like between Chai and Ru. It wasn’t really intentional, but I might as well let it be.
