If you've been following homestuck drama for the past five years and you don't think Andrew Hussie would use an employee as a proxy tool to indimidate and coerce people into shutting down their sites with threat of DMCA, you need to read up on the Sarah Z Hiveswap scandal. That lady has far more credibility than you or me and lots of evidence of the terrible things Hussie has done.
If you still don't believe it, well, youre obviously closing your ears to it because you're too stuck in nostalgia for Homestuck, but also there was a time a few years back where Hussie tried to have their staff take control of the biggest Homestuck discord with threat of legal action because they didn't like it. That's why it's now called the "Unofficial Homestuck Discord". The only reason it didn't result in further action is because Hussie got bored of dealing with it and stopped giving instructions to the WhatPumpkin proxy, who didn't want anything to do with this.
As for the person who was impacted and made the post, their character actually doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if they're a nice person or not. It doesn't remove any single one of Hussie's wrongs and it doesn't make their account of the Collection being taken down wrong, because we have a mountain of evidence that this is what Hussie does, this is how they operate, and that it's all true.
If you think it's a good thing the only way to read Homestuck was taken down because the person who owned the archive gave you bad vibes, you must also agree it's OK for Mastercard and Visa to refuse services on Steam because they sell porn games, and you must agree it's ok for the UK to require ID verification on Bluesky because a child somewhere might use the internet.
