*hits the joint* In the Harry Potter universe, Merlin is canonically a Hogwarts alumni and a Slytherin, which is impossible because Merlin predates the existence of Hogwarts by centuries. Of course, JK Rowling didn’t know that because she is a dumb bitch. I’m sorry. Misogynistic phrasing. Seriously, how could you write a series about British wizards without truly understanding THE British wizard. Anyway, Merlin would never be able to attend any sort of organized schooling. He’s definitely self-taught in every universe because he’s the most powerful wizard ever AND he’d have been expelled from any institution before he stepped through the door. The only reason they haven’t escorted him away from Camelot is because he can see the future and he is kind of like the king’s dad. I was so disappointed by BBC Merlin. I turned it on and I was like “What the fuck is this shit, where is my perverted old man?”

I was gonna reblog this and start it by going "lowkey that ending was too happy" and then remembered that douxie not only DOESN'T have the stitches out but cries when he's taken from merlin's arms and the only comfort he gets is being carried out with the promise that it WILL be fixed and archie curling up on his tummy. and I realized I was thinking THAT was too happy and just had to put my head in my hands

love that for five years now rott still stands strong as. to me. THE worst finale/ending in recent history. like even if it shares alot of faults with other finales there's just something that pushes it a little further. like oh your show spent too much time on one character and sidelined everyone else? well at least they didn't kill half the side characters because they didn't know what else to do with them. oh they did? well at least they didn't undo the entire story at the end and make it so none of it happened. oh they DID? well guess what i know they didn't fucking have. a teenage boy spending almost the entire movie doing an alien mpreg speedrun. like SINCE 2021 i can see a GODAWFUL finale and just go "well at least it didn't do what rott did" and just like that it's Not The Worst Finale Ever. it's like that meme of the soldier taking bullets for the sleeping kid but it's rott shielding every other finale that comes out after July 21 2021 from being The Worst Finale Ever

Hey you, yeah, you, give that character a mobility aid. Do it. That girl who canonically has a leg injury? Give her a cane. That guy that doesn't have a canonical injury but whom you feel ok your heart is definitely chronically ill? Give him a wheelchair. That character you headcanon as disabled because they just kinda feel like it in your head? Give them crutches! That character you really really like and really really relate too? Give em a rollator! Sky's the limit! Go wild! People are gonna have problems with us creating a space for ourselves regardless, might as well bring a few of our favorite characters and OCs with us!
