kris doesn't face left automatically at any point in this scene in-game

in other words, the ARG email writer made it so they're purposefully set to face left here

set to face susie...

susie is the reason the weird route can't happen

Argyle is proof that Jonathan is fine at making friends (or at least that he's not inherently off-putting--Hawkins just sucks), but I do think that a lifetime of that kind of loneliness and social exclusion means he sucks at realizing that people want to be his friend. So I think he has friends in NYC, but I wonder how long it takes him to notice.
